Overpriced, under delivered

System looks good but is antiquated. You can only text for support - no phone calls. Will promise you the world on a sales call but can’t get BoulevardProfessional to work reliably.

Terrible update

I miss the 4 and 6 week jump in my book for rebooking clients. Also when I open the book to “all working” when I open BoulevardProfessional it always takes me to Sunday not the current day. Too many steps and way too slow. I like viewing the calendar it is just taking too long to do simple tasks. Fix this asap please.

New Update

The new update is horrible. This version makes it 10x harder to function and look through the schedules. i would give this zero stars if i could.
Nothing was wrong with the old version, change it back!

Put it back

This update was actually the worst thing you could have thought of. It’s displaying people who aren’t even on the schedule as present. And it looks TERRIBLE on your phone. It is the worst update to date. Change it back NAOW!

Do Not Use!!

This company and app are the worst! At first it seemed like a great add on to my salons. When Boulevard first contacted me I was told their software was fully manageable by the boulevard app, since we use IPads at both of our locations. BoulevardProfessional is very limited on what you can do. You have to link three different devices to check out services. The duo, ipad and desktop. The software will automatically disconnect after every few transactions. When trying to reach customer service it's impossible.

Regret updating

I really dislike the latest update. It’s hard to view my calendar on BoulevardProfessional . It’s set up as a desktop vibe and not very mobile friendly. Please change it back!

New update

The new update is awful, I can’t even read my calendar on my phone or rebook clients. Please change it back!! All of my coworkers agree, we hate the new mobile layout!!

Newest Update

The newest update has removed helpful features from BoulevardProfessional . it no longer displays icons for if a client is requesting a specific service provider, or for when a client has arrived. you still receive a text, but the visual icon was helpful as sometimes texts don't come thru right away. The new update also makes it impossible to see a whole week unless you're only looking at one service provider. almost all the features i used to really appreciate are gone and it's disappointing.

Overpromised & Underdelivered

Run. They tell you everything you want to hear to
get the sale. The data transfer costs $895 for a max of 2 years of back data. When they only transfer 20% of your data (at random) it isn't their fault because you signed a contract agreeing that they aren't liable for the accuracy.
Customer service is non-existent once you're onboarded. They have "work arounds" for simple operations and reports that should be automatic. Ther is nothing efficient about Boulevard, it needs a ton of work.

Worst Customer Service / Bait and Switch Company / I lost $5000

There’s no customer service. They were so kind during the trial period and once they received my money they were no where to be found. I was reluctant to get with them because they were new to the medical aesthetic community. I was currently with Aesthetic Record and Boulevard stated their charting system was soon to be released. I agreed to move forward with them on the contingency of the medical charting component. The charting system was launched and not only was it terrible, they wanted to charge me extra a month to use the photo section, as if the $5000 they got from me wasn’t enough. Their processing fees are nearly 3%. I’ve reached out to them countless times through email as that is the only way they communicate and no one responds back to me.

Please beware of this company as I don’t want you to suffer the same loss as my company has.

Can’t change notifications

The notification toggle button has never worked for me. Stuck with endless texts when I just want push notifications. Went to the site and even though the help center explains how to change settings there, the communication preferences aren’t even listed. It’s supposed to be on the user profile page.

Needs functionality improvements

BoulevardProfessional needs to let us view our entire day & week on the screen. It’s hard to tell exactly what day/time you’re looking at.

Full week view and the ability to minimize the calendar for full visibility need to happen. Until then, BoulevardProfessional is hard to use and inconvenient for checking your schedule.

Won’t let me sign in

Since I got the new iPhone 15 a month ago I have done everything to try to get back into BoulevardProfessional . I’ve deleted and restored BoulevardProfessional so many times over, talked to customer support, the owner of the salon has contacted customer support… there just seems to be no solution. It worked perfect on my 11 so I’m assuming the technology just isn’t up to date.
I’m putting 3 stars because it did actually used to work.

Use to be better :(

BoulevardProfessional was amazing before they changed the format. Now it constantly lags when opening, takes forever to re-load or gives “network error” regardless of using WIFI or switching wifi off. It’s so sensitive to touch and slides into the next day too easily. Everyone at works constantly complains about BoulevardProfessional . We use it constantly through out the day to check on appointments, the details and any changes and Blvd is so frustrating to use. Please make it better or go back!! 😭😭😭

Need full names

Booking is difficult because you have to use last name and when looking at schedule it only shows first name

I really like the app, but sometimes I get a glitch

At times when I book multiple services for one client the first service will glitch and vanish then I restart BoulevardProfessional . It’ll show back up just to vantage again. Other than that, BoulevardProfessional is wonderful.

BLVD gets it.

I can’t thank the people at Boulevard enough for making my life easier. BoulevardProfessional and platform have single-handedly streamlined my entire workflow. Keep up the good work, I’m excited to see what’s next.

Incredibly polished

Boulevard has truly changed our salon for the better in almost every way. We were using square appointments and found the interface clean but it lacked almost all of the functionality we needed.

After signing up for Boulevard we started to have a real command of the front desk, our clients are happier and we fill almost every open slot in our schedule. BoulevardProfessional pairs with our Boulevard dashboard on our front desk computer, all syncing, payments, everything is taken care of.

I doubt the pricing will stay where it is for much longer, so you may want to take a look at a demo sooner than later.
