It used to occasionally crash when watching an ad. Then they updated the app, and it crashed more frequently during ads. Then they updated again, same thing. This version is so bad it's almost unplayable; not only do the ads crash far more often than not, now they've introduced crashing when you're *not* watching an ad. . . I've cut down my playtime, and almost completely stopped watching the ads, despite the bonuses, because I have better things to do than watch this game's loading screen. To add insult to injury, they've now added a 'take a break, watch this ad, get 10 jewels'...uh..."feature," which is unskippable. So now, you're almost guaranteed a crash even if you're not watching ads, because they're forcing you to watch an ad. It's too bad, because this game is actually really fun; it needs better explanations of the rules, but it's one of the very rare games that I was considering getting an in-app purchase from. Not now, though. Not until they fix it.

I originally gave this a 5 star, but then there was a catastrophic update. The update had a major flaw that they finally “fixed” but the game is pretty much garbage now. The introduction of crafting was relatively ok, but the crafting materials are acquired disproportionately and you end up ridiculously short on that one you really need kind of like McDonalds monopoly. My wife and kids have deleted this game completely and moved on. I sneak peaks at it about 10 percent of the time I did before hoping they come to their senses, but I literally laugh out loud when it costs 1000 plans to upgrade and they charge $9.99 for the pleasure of crafting an extra boost of 6. I have numbers in the 10s of thousands of all items I need but 71 of the one I need 10s of thousands of. AVOID the hook of a game that takes a classic and mocks you with it.

The expansion piece was fine and all until you get to the crafting and errands. I have been playing this game everyday for weeks, and I’m barely halfway through the 2nd building (Snaphat). Bricks take forever to get, and require 50 just to craft one plan? Crazy. I am -25 levels away from expanding. Yes, NEGATIVE 25 levels. I’m to the point that I cannot even gain 1% in the level progress after 3 days. PLEASE make the bricks go away, become easier to get, or make them less necessary to craft plans. Nowadays i don’t even play unless there’s an event. There’s no point because I can’t hardly even buy floors at this point. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX. I thought the expansion update would be more of a challenge, and i enjoyed it at first, but now it has become the bane of my existence. (ESPECIALLY THE FRIGGIN BRICKS)
