I finally decided to front the cash for this to see my alma mater, the University of Denver, play. It’s absurd how much the service costs compared to similar platforms for other schools/programs…. But the worst of it is that NCHCtv won’t even let me log in. It just keeps saying “all fields required” even thought I’ve quadruple checked the interface for anything missing on the login. Additionally, even if you just try and run it in a regular browser, I’ve only gotten it to work in Chrome, and even then it keeps cutting out. Such garbage, especially when they expect us to pay for the service.

This is unquestionably the worst app I have ever downloaded on any version of the iphone or the apple tv. If, and that’s a big IF you get past the startup screen, it is just a random countdown to a crash. What a joke. Embarrassing for the NCHC schools.

Payed $100 to watch Sioux games live and can't even open NCHCtv this year absolutely horrible

I’m going to write the same review as others in hopes NCHC will fix it. NCHCtv won’t get past the Home Screen with the logo. It just sits and spins.

Just a blank screen. Tried restarting phone, reinstalling NCHCtv but nothing. I guess I will be requesting a refund for the package I just paid for. Too bad, I like to watch college hockey.

I’ve had a league tv pass since the beginning and never had problems like this season...games cut out leaving only a black screen. It got so frustrating that I gave up the service.

NCHCtv never works when you need it to. I don’t open it more often the a couple times a weekend and I’d be lucky if it ever actually works and I can check scores.

Installs but doesn’t open on my iPad Air. Used to work until the latest update. Tried reinstalling but doesn’t help. Using the latest OS (12.4.9) for this iPad Air. Works OK on my iPad Pro.

Absolute trash. The cast feature for chrome cast didn’t work so they just removed it. An absolute waste of money for a service that should be the most basic feature of a streaming app. Fighting for a refund.

For what it costs to buy a package to watch your team on NCHCtv, you would think they could find someone who can create an app that functions. So many glitches, Chromecast won’t even stream. Waste of money. In this day and age, these teams deserve a service that allows their fans to stream and watch their games at a reasonable price.

It appears NCHCtv only works when you first open it and if you want to use NCHCtv and have it load content and not be a white screen you have to reboot the iPad. Obviously a faulty app that needs work. Sad especially when you pay over $100 for a subscription to watch the games. Disappointing when NCHCtv is decent when it works properly.

I feel like I have to work as hard as the players on the ice to keep the feed going. Have to constantly close and reload as the feed goes back to a point in the first period throughout the game for no reason. Not what I expect for a $100 subscription.

NCHCtv is complete garbage. Why pay over $100 to watch your team and not be able to see a live game? Tried multiple browsers, multiple phone OS’ and still... errors, errors, errors, nah too frustrating. We need an update to fix the backend ASAP. Lock this up! What nonsense.

On multiple occasions I’ve recently tried to use NCHCtv on my iPhone to watch games, each time I’ve opened NCHCtv it just sits on the loading page and doesn’t do anything. I’ve force quit NCHCtv , restarted my phone, and Re downloaded NCHCtv . Nothing works.

I used to be able to watch on my iPad. No more. Please fix it. I pay a lot to watch college hockey and this is frustrating.

I know the games have ended. I don’t need over 100 duplicate notifications to tell me that. The notifications keep coming even with notifications for NCHCtv turned off.
I like the information in NCHCtv but can’t give a higher rating because the number of notifications are very irritating.
Please fix the notifications overload.

The iPhone and IPad app works 90% of the time. The Apple TV app is worthless to stream live games.

The video keeps losing the feed and frequently I have to reconnect. It would be nice if it could cast to my TV like more up to date video apps.

NCHCtv is awful. I can’t open it on my iPad. Glad I have a student at the game to give me updates.

After updating to version 2.0.6 all it does is show the NCHC logo with a spinning wheel.

I’ve been using NCHCtv and have experienced one glitch after another. Pitiful. Painful. Attempt only if you are an NCHC adict.

If you won’t be watching every game live be prepared to wait until the game is over if you want to watch it all. You can’t start from the beginning.

I hope you also have very tight tunnel vision because by the time you can watch it they will post a huge graphic showing the final score in the “social media” box, which you can’t turn off.

NCHCtv also won’t stream reliably from my iPad to my Google Chromecast when Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, and other apps do so without issue. I hope you like Error Code pop-ups!
