Omlet: Live & 3D Avatar Stream Reviews

While this is the “best” mobile streaming app for iOS it definitely has room for improvement. First off the kill cam has stopped working and still doesn’t work even though I switched from iPhone 8 to XR so the problem is in Omlet . It also has many times that it glitches with audio and even toggling the mic doesn’t seem to always fix it. It also glitches in PUBG a lot, one moment you are playing next you can’t hear anything in game until you turn your mic on in game. A nice feature I would like to see is the ability to choose what we stream, right now by default it stops and resumes your stream as you switch from app to app but I would love to have an option to keep streaming even as I switch so essentially screencast. It would also be cool to have a mic input selection maybe a viewer count overlay and please, please turn off the bloody auto play on the home screen. The final two things I can think of is maybe have an option to archives your streams such as twitch does, you have this with kill cam but not for entire stream and with kill cam broken this is pointless. Also should offer ads as a way to monetize the streams for both this app and its streamers. this app if you guys read this and decide to write back awesome I would love to hear back, but if you do and you like my ideas please do not ask me to email them to feedback, if you truly like them copy and paste into your own tracking cms as this is me leaving feedback.

I’ve known of this app for quite sometime now. I never got the chance to use it because I didn’t stream much. I recently downloaded a game I enjoy very much and thought hey.. I should download a streaming app. “The gameplay is worth watching “ ... but anyways I’ve been streaming now for about a week or two now . I downloaded this app because it showed promise and had a lot of traffic . From day one I had a couple of issues due to the fact I’m new to iPhone and new to this app. But within a couple of days I had it going. Viewers watched and grew faster than I thought . I hit 3k views within a 2 weeks. I know it isn’t much but I was sure dam proud of it. So let’s fast forward... I recently updated this app . Now this app can’t stay open . When ever I open my this app account it’ll load then exit out. When I look at my apps in the background it’s there but it won’t stay on my screen . It always exits out when I press on it . Overall I can’t use my this app anymore and I love Omlet but now I feel like I wasted so many hours streaming and building a fan base just for it not to work . And it’s just added irritation that I’m getting such difficulties within app while using the newest phones out...”iPhone X” yes I have an iPhone X ... I shouldn’t be having this problem . So many streamers on this app that use phones that are years old. Please fix this issue. It’s my day off and there’s nothing else I would rather do than to stream on this app.... please!!

Hi so I had Omlet for over a year. At first I didn’t really understand so I stopped playing. A few months later, I was getting followers so I decided to stream! The only problem is when I try to stream roblox it doesn’t let me but it lets me stream among us. I am really confused. I like to stream and post videos. It’s mostly for streaming. Also I am upset there is no place where you can’t see your stream without buying this app plus! It makes it more boring... but I like to stream! Also if we can’t get buffs you just make us watch adds :/ and I still kind of enjoy it. So pls fix that so like you have a daily award or you get 1 token every day. Also I have a question. Since the Jewels are only for verified people what do you spend it on? Please answer my question if u see this. Anyways you should still download it! It is very good for streaming. If you don’t know how to stream just press the plus button and then press next and choose a title and description for the steam and the last step is choose a game to stream! Then press done. After that you should know what to do. So I rate it four stars. Fix it and I’ll give u 5 stars!

I found this app when I wanted to play survival and stuff like that in minecraft but couldnt find anything. After a while of searching I finally found it, After I downloaded it I thought I created an account. So far this is a miracle to me.. so fun and EVERY details that i was looking for! I enjoy it so much it also has other games, and Chats too! this app doesnt have a thing I dont like EXCEPT That its laggy, like when i go into a minecraft world with someone its super laggy, if you could do anything to maybe boost it a bit it would be really good! I still have no complains about Omlet . I understand that it might be hard for people to play since theres alot of people joining one world and you have to put everyone on a VPN which makes minecraft think that we live in the same house and thats probably what makes it laggy! And I understand that it cant be done without changing your location (VPN) (Only if you dont sign in XBOX account) but if you could boost the lag by a bit Omlet would be my lifetime favorite app. It deserves a 5/5!

I’ve always wanted to be a streamer, but I never really knew how. Until I came across this app. At first it was VERY hard to get viewers but after a while it slowly started getting better. It’s very easy and it absolutely is amazing. I’ve been doing this for a bit and it’s so fun to interact with people. The only thing I would like to say is, if it has been prevented then I’m sorry for mentioning, is at the start I would get random people saying “wanna date?” in my chat when I specifically said MULTIPLE TIMES that I was uncomfortable with that. Is there a way you could make it to where people can’t say that? This isn’t Omlets fault by the way so if your reading this as a person wanting to see if it’s worth it 1.) MOST INDEFINITELY WORTH IT 2.) This is not me saying “OMG this app THIS IS YOUR FAULT WHY WHY WHY!” It’s just a small amount of the people on there are a bit passionate about dating people ig?

I mostly use Omlete for its chat feature (which for the most part works really well and sends my messages really fast which I appreciate!) but sometimes after using it for a while it’ll bug out. Once I deleted a message and it kept resending the same message over and over and I had to restart Omlet a couple of times. Other instances this will happen is if I turn off my phone without closing Omlet sometimes it’ll send the same message twice LOL. This is never really a problem unless it resends a random previous message or something I didn’t type. That has happened once, and I thought it might be someone trolling my account so I put a password on my ID. I don’t know why it does that but if I had to guess Omlet is overloaded and restarting it usually fixes it. Other than that the only thing is occasionally my messages won’t send or I can’t see them after I send them but it works itself out. One last thing is sometimes my stream randomly cuts off, but it’s fine because I don’t stream a lot anyways. I really love omlete though In and of its self. Great app! I totally recommend ^^

I have had a great experience with Omlet and it's great you can chat and call friends and live stream. You also can earn fold gonna from clicking on your profile picture and doing the task it gives you. Also I haven't quite figured out how you love stream but hopefully I will so I can live stream games that I want to live stream. Omlet is fun because you can also join live streams and chat with people in the live stream an the owner of the live stream. Omlet has made my chat with my friend easier to chat with and we call and chat when we have the chance to but if your looking dot an app to posts videos live stream and chat with friends than O recommend Omlet and it's totally free there is some things you have to buy but everything is free. If you ever download Omlet I hope you have as much fun with Omlet as me.

Omlet has more functionality issues than any other streaming app on the market. The only edge it has is Omlet allows you to stream to multiple platforms. Other than that, it’s pretty useless. There are constant, and I do mean constant crashing issues that the developers will blame us, their own user base, for having the issues. Basically acting like we have no idea what we’re doing. However I think they don’t know what they’re doing. I’m getting the feeling Omlet is ran by a bunch of kids or something because you can’t talk to anyone. When you send a complaint, no one responds. When you finally do get a response, months later, they’ll basically end up telling you that it’s something wrong with your WiFi, your device, your memory storage, iOS or something. They’ll never take responsibility for the issues with Omlet . And I know all of you, even the ones who are kissing up to them experience constant crashing too.
Omlet is good for beginners who want to learn how to stream. After you build your following on other platforms, my best advice for you would be to trash Omlet. It’s sad too. The potential is great. The willingness and dare I say intelligence? To fix Omlet seems to be out of their reach.

I love Omlet! I have never had an app like this, It’s the best to stream, And talk to viewers while on game! I love Omlet so much, I can’t express all of my thoughts about this game! I have so many, This is amazing. Only for a month I’ve been on here, It’s absolutely great, If you haven’t downloaded Omlet yet, And want to stream, I suggest you get it right now. Because, Omlet is legit. You can do so much on here! I don’t know how you made this game.. But it’s absolutely amazing, I can now finally stream a game I always wanted to stream, Okay but like really, Omlet is one of the best apps I have ever had, That’s some of my thoughts, I just can’t Let out more, I have to many thoughts about Omlet, Omlet is great, I really do suggest you get Omlet for streaming.

I used to use Omlet to stream all the time, and even then it was pretty hard to use. But the last few times I’ve tried to stream, it told me to check my Internet connection. So I did, and I have great internet connection so I try again, still doesn’t work. So I restart my device and it still doesn’t work, so I uninstalled and reinstalled Omlet , and it continues to say that I need to check my Internet connection???? Now I can’t even log in???
And while I’m here, there’s a problem with the audio and sometimes my stream will just turn off while I’m in the middle of something. It’s glitchy, and needs work done in it. And the “only show live chat messages” doesn’t work. :( if just a bit more money and time was put into Omlet, it would have been great! Till then, it’s glitchy, and not working. But hey, it’s better then the other things I’ve tried, so it COULD be worse, but it definitely could be WAY better if they tried.

For some reason this happens like almost every time I try to live stream for YT where the live stream would randomly stop by itself even though I’m not even pressing stop.

Please, you reeeaaally need to fix this problem.

Edit: I’ve been having 2 other problems recently, and here they are.

1: It would just start lagging randomly, this happens like all the time where the live stream would just drop the frame rate to like 3X as low as normal.

2: Omlet would crash and not even open no matter how many times I try to exit out and go back in, when I’m going live it seems like most of the time when I go back into Omlet it would do the boot screen like as if I just opened it (I’m not) and the worst part is that it would just show me this grayish blueish screen and the only way to fix it is to just stop the stream and go in and it works fine now, and this one time which is today (depending on when you’re reading this review) I had the blind fold thingy on so that they can’t see anything that I’m doing on my screen and it did the thing and I couldn’t even open Omlet without turning off the live stream and the blind fold thingy was still on so I just stopped the live stream and decided not to live stream again (probably will do it again tho so don’t worry).

Again, fix this for me, I reeeaaally need to live stream without any technical difficulties.

1. I see inappropriate posts all the time (“thick” anime girls and stripping videos) there should be a team of staff who look through posts before they are uploaded to confirm they are clean.

2. Whenever I block somebody, but they text me, I’m stuck with 1 text or whatever because whenever I click on it, it teleports to their profile and says “You must be following each other in order to start a chat.” So I’m literally stuck with texts I can’t click on for like a month sometimes.

3. This is just a little recommendation for a future update. It’d make this app a little happier. For me, at least. There should be teleport options to your first post, and teleports to the bottom of your information. Because I’m in maybe 50 communities and I don’t wanna scroll through my communities page, and it’s be nice if I could teleport over to the communities under your information. The first post thing, because, why not? tHrOwBaCkS XD

I really love Omlet I have been using the website for a while! But I got Omlet this Monday and I fell in love with it but here are some recommendations 1.Before something is posted an admin of Omlet should review it to see if it’s ok. 2.before you temporarily ban someone from posting make sure to look at the issue to see if they deserve it. 3.I think you should be able to post videos that are 10 minutes or more I tried posting a little review video (which I was doing for fun) but it was 6 minutes and I didn’t feel like trimming it because it would ruin the review. 4.I think when someone first makes there account there should be a warning that says “You might find sexual content,bloody stuff,gore and other stuff it is not our fault if you come across this content” or something like that.

Soooo I love Omlet and it doesn’t matter for me to rate it good sooo I gave it 4 cause there’s sooo many mean people even the bad peoples that flirt with u on stream witch I hate cause u already got 8 of them on meh stream those people are really badddd and this other reson is not important cause ya so

this app has grown so much since I first started streaming in February. They went from an ordinary streaming app with options to post (similar to Facebook) and to stream to FB, Twitch and YT all at the same time to hosting a $10,000 tourney for PUBGM. Not only that, but they also do smaller prizes too for a variety of games such as Minecraft and Fortnite.
They are becoming the pioneers for mobile eSports and love it or not, Mobile eSports will get big. Everyone has a Mobile phone but not everyone has a PC.
Also, they respond to consumer feedback and they actually do care about their users unlike most apps. I knew this app was different from the rest when I first started streaming here and I’m glad I was right. Here’s to streaming for a year on this app in February 🍻

I love the concept of a mobile streaming platform. It functions very well and is clean. I had to some tweaks to my phone to run the processor better. I’m not big on social media, but I really do enjoy how they combined it. Like we don’t just have to stream. We can make regular post, life updates, or even post memes. However one thing I do not like is that the cost off the volcano buff is so much. Like I want to use that every stream but I can’t. Simply because it is not affordable. That’s saying a lot since I’m a dock worker at P&G, work 40+ hours every week/ at $20 an hour. I really want to be on a fast track to being verified. However still a great app. I will continue to use daily!

First off this app needs to get more people that are not verified on the front for different games. Second I can’t stream yt when I play fortnite mobile but when it comes to roblox it’s a different situation. Third the “broadcast” always stops for random times. 4th i know the requirements have to be pretty high to be verified but at least tone it done it’s from bugs like those I don’t have the chance to be verified. And for the verified program do you get like this app swag like a this app backpack and exposure to like other companies to help the mobile gaming community cause that would be cool and can you guys add more stream settings like text in the stream or like do a thing where you can connect another devices camera to the stream now that’s cool. And how does hotness work.

This is one of the best apps where you can watch people streaming when they even are streaming. you can even go live and start streaming thanks to this app arcade when I go live or I start streaming I get more viewers because when I used to stream on twitch while playing Fortnite, Minecraft, or call of duty mobile I used to only get like 2 or 5 viewers but now with this app arcade I get like 1,000 to 2,000 viewers when I stream Fortnite, Minecraft, or call of duty mobile and those type of games. That is why I recommend you to get this app arcade to stream go live or to watch some of your favorite streamers.

Hey I would like to say I've been using this app for a couple years and I enjoy it even when I first saw it. But I have a problem, or a question, when I go to my messages it doesn't show the old ones anymore, I just want to know if you delete them or are they still there? I'm on a old iPad on apple and I'm using a compatible version of this app. It won't even show on my pic too, they just delete the messages. If this is a problem can you fix it? I would like to keep the old messages or it's probably just me but it's a really good streaming app. I just need an answer though... but keep doing your job Omlet is great!

It’s a decent app I will say because it’s the only one I can stream on. But my problems are when I stream I don’t have a mic so nobody can hear me even tho I have mic on like do I need headphones for my mic to work? Next thing my stream ends randomly a lot. Third thing why do androids get more hotness than iPhones? I have more followers than someone I know and I have just as many people join my streams and guess what my hottness barely moves but I noticed someone else that I know who has less followers somehow gets 2,000 hotness when one person joins and I don’t even get 10 points towards my hotness and that’s messed up like why. Y’all gave him 20k off like 10 people joining and I litterally stream hours and have 15-20 people join each hour stream and I don’t see nothing change that needs fixed!

I first joined this app Arcade less than a year after it came out. This resulted in me being one of the oldest members of their community. I made countless friends and had a few fans. Honestly, Omlet changed my life (that sounds weird, i know).
However i’m only giving 4 stars because Omlet was OUTSTANDING the first 2 years but then it became greedy i guess? it’s natural for apps to become like this but i originally liked this app Arcade because it wasn’t like other apps. At the beginning it was wholesome in a way and i just wish it could’ve stayed like that forever. Either way, it’s still an amazing community and a great way to find some new friends with the same interests as you. I hope this review helped in a way :)

I love Omlet and have been using it for months now. I grew my stream into 2,000 followers in just a short time. I’ve tried every other recording app out and there’s just none that compare. But recently I’ve had an issue where my stream audio will randomly cut out every so often. It records my mic audio fine but not the in game. I’ve tried every solution but to no avail. I’ve sent a few emails to support as well but recurved no reply. It’s a real bummer on my stream as I’ve never had this issue beforehand and the only way I’ve found to fix it is to close the game I’m playing and reopen it every time the audio disappears.

Hello! You may remember me... (an incident happened to my original Apple ID, so now I have this one.) (and it’s jennadrawsandgames btw) I love Omlet. It’s fun and a way that I can be known for playing video games and art. I only have one suggestion and it’s to add in more contests for games that haven’t had that many contests(I’m looking at art and idv contests). There hasn’t been either one of those contests since fall of 2018 and it’s gotten me bored to my mind. I like competing in contests and try to improve throughout the way. I’ve been using the livestream feature for animating since I got Omlet and it’s amazing! It works so effectively doing so too! Just one problem. I always keep my mic off when it comes to livestreams so the stream is silent. But I want my viewers to be able to listen to music while live streaming so the stream doesn’t have to be silent and makes the viewers lose interest. Is it possible to make a feature when you switch the mic is off while live-streaming, still allows songs and audio to play from the APPS on the device only? It would really help a lot and I will be entertained! Thanks for an amazing app!

I like omelet arcade you could go live that’s the feature I like a lot you interact with people and people are nice and are a lot of people that talk a lot that what I like about people on omelet when you go live you have to be ready to talk to strangers but if you keep talking to them you will get to know them you could join their games and worlds and like their live stream so they could level up and I would like to say something omelet if you could read this I would appreciate and you yes you the reader what are you doing with your life install it now for free and start talking to people and go live but always be happy.

I personally love using this app it got me started in streaming I used to use mob crush but it would drop all the time and they never updated it.... I would love to see the 10 second delay option back the 30 seconds is way to long when it adds another 10 seconds or so for facebooks delay also !!!!! Makes chatting hard on Facebook. BRING THE TEN SECOND DELAY OPTION BACK PLEASE....the only real problem I have is Omlet will all of a sudden just stop streaming and crash .... also if I don’t add the stream delay it’s a 50/50 chance the audio will be in sync with the video but 30 seconds of delay is just to long when 10 seconds would be way better.

this app IS the best streaming platform for mobile but I wish theres more in it. I wish that we could put our own overlays and widgets just like streamlabs, this features would be really dope and it will definitely boost up your users. I wish theres something like subscribers and mods just like twitch so viewers can interact more. For ex. !device or !uptime something like this would be really nice. Or at least have the desktop version do it and what I mean by this is we put our overlays, widgets, our rules or mods,etc. there and then just got to our phone and start streaming. If you guys can't because of Apple's law and limitations I understand.

It’s a great app it lets you interact with other people in your gaming community it lets you stream and join other peoples games but I have 1 issue that doesn’t really have to do with Omlet it’s self but whenever I go into another server that has males (I am a female) I get asked to be their boyfriend and yes I know this has nothing to do with Omlet but I want to tell you this anyway so you can know this while you are getting Omlet and I personally love it but I wish maybe the developers can do something about it (you don’t have to though)but besides that I think it’s a great app that you should get.
