Cat has become more cumbersome as time has went on. Instead of getting better, it seems like more layers of crap have been added. Oh, I forgot to mention all the updates and the vicious cycle where you can’t use Cat because it requires you to update. But you can’t update because there’s no current version available in Cat Store to update to. This is the third time I’ve been stuck in the field and can’t use Cat to measure undercarriage due to updates and no new version to update to. Cat has been in place for a few years now. Why are we still experiencing this kind of stuff?
I have been using Cat since 2019. Every update that has been performed has diminished the functionality of Cat. Unfortunately I have to use Cat daily. The developer needs to return to the basic reason Cat as created “ to use the input of the end user to create undercarriage reports. In my opinion they need to destroy this aggravating, and frustrating app that, at times is literally unusable on job site. If I could use the website to create my reports, I WOULD NEVER USE Cat AGAIN.
Unable to update Service Work History making your inspection useless unless you fill out another Service Work History. The first inspection now takes two to three times longer if you try to fill everything out correctly.
Been CTSing since 2006 as a PSSR...This is NOT a good update, at all. The whole service history/part number extra steps is wonky and not needed. Want more undercarriages measured? Keep the process of doing so EASY! (It has been up until this update imo)
Takes extremely too long to setup history for a machine and tripled the time for each inspection. Absolutely awful.
Worst app that this app has ever created. Back and forth across multiple screens to input information. The last version was just fine. What in the heck were you thinking?
As a PSSR this is a burden. Cat is made with good intentions but fails to execute. This triples my workload and always leaves me dead in front of a customer. I need reliability please !
11year user. Roll it back to previous version, this update makes it just about unusable. KEEP IT SIMPLE
Hours and roller measurements are getting removed from reports. Do not appear on reports on mobile or web site.
