After using KeepScoreGameKeeper to play like one or two rounds of Farkel, KeepScoreGameKeeper started demanding that I pay $0.99 to score 10 more games or $3.99 for unlimited games. I get that developers need to get paid, and that can definitely be accomplished here, but come on. An app that just keeps score for a quick round of dice does not deserve THAT kind of compensation. Charge $0.99 for KeepScoreGameKeeper , or keep it free with ads. This is crazy and the developer needs to change this.

KeepScoreGameKeeper keeps scores for you through two games, and then you have to pay to keep using it. So, when you download KeepScoreGameKeeper , you think it’s free but it isn’t.

The developers would do well to learn from other app system setups and provide a truly free really basic score keeper instead of the current bait and switch model. Then offer some additional features in a pay version, such as: keeping track of your score sheets over time or a season, comparing player scores through the rounds, computing statistics of highest scoring round, highest score, etc.

Unfortunately I’ll be deleting KeepScoreGameKeeper .

Does an ok job for what it’s supposed to do. If you click the share button on the final score screen it doesn’t actually share your score, just a link for others to buy KeepScoreGameKeeper - not a great way to end what was otherwise a good experience. I did buy the unlimited version and would recommend it, feel the sharing option is useless though.

My “Game Scorer” app was great, but then then iOS 11 messed that up. It would let you keep the players that had played and you just from them. You could tell it if high or low score won and it put them in order. You could name the game. You could write a note about the game. And it didn’t hound you for money!! I would be willing to pay a buck one time for this one if it had all of that. I’m guessing it will find the delete pile.

We have been using KeepScoreGameKeeper to keep record of our weekly game scores and it has been fine. You can add plenty of players (we have 12 so far) and plenty of scores for each player (we are at nearly 100 so far).
We only use the free version, so we have only created one game. When we start our next round of gaming, we’ll have to fond a new app because you can only reset once before having to pay to continue using. For that, only 3 stars.

There are also some handy additional features like a player picker (i.e. for choosing turn order), a buzzer, and a count down/timer (that let’s you choose the starting number). These are nice and worth keeping KeepScoreGameKeeper after this gaming year - at least until we find a new app.

So if you are looking for an app to keep score playing card games this is handy. The rub? They only let you use it a couple times before hounding you for cash. Needs some help, like an option to alphabetize your list, automatically reorder to show the leader board, ability to keep a log of previous games for tracking a whole “season”. Would be good if they had different buzzer sounds. Option for hitting reset on the buzzer automatically starting the countdown timer over instead of having to press start again after resetting.

I enjoy using KeepScoreGameKeeper as my partner and I play a lot of board games. However, I bought it thinking that it would be able to bucket historical data/overall record per player by game title. The data is all there, but instead it just lists out each game individually with no running tally. Would love to see overall win/loss record per game.

Needs landscape mode and would prefer to see all scores listed while playing... Like in columns. We use KeepScoreGameKeeper to keep farkle score and it's great but every now and then we have a few people playing that want to see each individual score as we go... Also if there was an option to zoom in that would be awesome. Other than that it's a great app! Worth the money!

I love KeepScoreGameKeeper. Super easy to quickly add players and start up a game. One thing though… I play a lot of phase 10 and the player with the LOWEST score is the winner. When you end the game the HIGHEST score always wins. There is a “change winner” button but if I touch it KeepScoreGameKeeper immediately crashes. Overall a good app that serves it purpose.

4.5 Stars - KeepScoreGameKeeper was exactly what I was looking for! It lets you customize teams and will even remember player’s names you’ve entered in. The feature I was particularly trying to find an app to do was allow me to score in increments over one. KeepScoreGameKeeper does that! It allows you to enter whatever number you need for each score, so that Jeopardy-derivative game I have in mind with point additions like 100, 300, 500, etc., I can now track. I love that it also has an incorrect buzzer, a built in timer you can program, and will even randomly choose a player to start the game.

The only thing I wish it had that it doesn’t is a CORRECT buzzer! That would make it 5 stars. Otherwise, it’s fantastic (and the fact that I don’t care for KeepScoreGameKeeper icon is just a nitpick).

Now I gotta say that KeepScoreGameKeeper is really great but then you have to pay for more games. That’s pretty annoying so all I’m asking is either you can make the game completely free but have ads so you can make money or make it so if a person created a game they can play that game infinitely.

Love this for keeping score of group points for activities with my students. I like the low chime it makes when I add a point for each group. I also like that it replaces my paper and pencil with tallies that I used to do. However, I would like to have a different sound for points being deducted. Also, it would be nice if you could have several player groups. I am having to list all of my periods and their group letter under the same players list; however, it causes me to sometimes mistakenly add points to the right group but wrong period.

Gamekeeper wins over similar apps because the user interface makes everything so easy. It’s a really useful app for our family games. (Quiddler in particular).

KeepScoreGameKeeper gets 4 stars instead of 5 only because there are features in similar apps I wish Gamekeeper had (such as saved groups of players. Still, this is the best of the lot.

More than just a score keeper, it also chooses players at random, has a countdown timer and a buzzer. Great set of tools, nice interface! The only feature I would add, is a history of past players to easily choose from, and allow photos of each. Then this would be the best.

This is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Keeping score is super easy and works for multiple players. Great timer & buzzer options available.

Only suggestion is to add a star next to players name to keep track of who the dealer is for the current round.

We do jeopardy games and other such games in Sunday school and I’d have the kids count down use a timer app for time and make the buzzer sounds myself. Lol! This incorporates everything and I really like that it shows the point history.

I am a very competitive person but I hate the constant math I have to do when I play games. With this awesome app I can add to a score or subtract it with ease. Plus, there’s score history so you know if points have been added or can check if there’s questions later. KeepScoreGameKeeper saves me so much headache. Thank you!!

I love KeepScoreGameKeeper. We use it almost every game night. It’s convenient and user-friendly. The only change I would make is to add sound when it congratulates the winner. Right now we make do with our own weak “woo” when each game ends.

I enjoy KeepScoreGameKeeper . I would like to know who is the dealer of each round. Maybe highlight the names in rotation. Thanks. I really would like to have the dealer highlighted in someway and have a change with each score.

Does all the math for you. There is a chime after each score is entered. There is a log of every score so you can verify there were no mistakes.

I bought the unlimited games for $3.99. I don’t understand people who expect a developer to write this for free. Do they work for free? Good value in my book.

I use to really like KeepScoreGameKeeper I even paid for it then they changed it and removed the ability to do a quick reset scores and keep same players. Now I have to end game, start new game and reselect all the players again.

We love to game at our house, even short games over breakfast. After trying to find a working pen and a back of an envelope to keep score, I realize there’s got to be an app for this.

KeepScoreGameKeeper keeps score, picks a random first player, and has a timer. There’s in-app purchases but I feel the basics serves our needs very well.

Great for keeping score for any game for as many people as you need. Like that it can be set to make high score the winner or the low score the winner. Winner gets confetti at the end. Have been using it for years and love to track all the games over the years.

Love KeepScoreGameKeeper . Still can’t understand why people complain about paying a couple bucks for an app that works great that someone spent time making. Only think I would love to see added is “reports” I can see overall rating from all the games. App however works amazing we love it 🤩

I only wish there was a dark mode and a button to quickly add a custom number of points to a player, like adding 15 points to each player that makes a successful bid in “up and down the river”/“oh! Well”/“oh pshaw”/“nomination whist”/“estimation hearts”/“elevator”/“contract whist”

KeepScoreGameKeeper is simple and does exactly what you need it to. Really easy to use.

My only wish would be to be able to have more than one score going at a time. If I pause a game and save it for later, or if I want to track how many games I’ve won (or lost..) against a certain opponent, I can’t have two different scores running at once.

I’d give five stars for that! Otherwise, great work!
