Vibration detection stops working

A pop up appears, for an add. Go back to the screen and vibrations will be zero forever. Also bought premium, but on my second device app asks me to buy another premium subscription.

Don't bother

Deserves more than "cool"

I don't live in an earthquake-prone area, but I still enjoy VibrationMeterseismograph. It records movement data for all three axes and displays them separately, it shows numerical data in case numbers mean anything to you, and probably other stuff that I haven't discovered yet. From what I've seen, the ads that appear aren't as invasive as they can be in other apps. It's also free, so give it a try if you're at all interested. If this review window were not covering the developer's name, I would mention them. Thanks!

Great app fantastic

5 stars VibrationMeterseismograph is great the only thing I wish was in a update is if VibrationMeterseismograph isn’t running or the phone is turned off. You know when you go to bed then the news announces ther was a 3.5 near you and you sleep through it. Well I wish it would start recording if it feels movement and stop if it feels no more movement.

Features

In this app we use Instrumental Intensity Scale (developed by The United States Geological Survey) which maps peak ground acceleration and peak ground velocity on an intensity scale similar to the felt Mercalli Scale.

Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) is equal to the maximum ground acceleration that occurred during earthquake shaking at location.

Vibration meter is an app called seismograph or seismometer, which measures the strength of vibration, quakes, earthquakes, vibrations of the human body or any other objects around you.

Our app allows for detecting and recording of seismic waves generated by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, avalanches and other sources of vibration and shocks.

Ground movement or an object is presented as a function of time in the three Cartesian axes, with the z axis perpendicular to the Earth's surface and the x- and y- axes parallel to the surface.

Mercalli intensity scale is a seismic scale used for measuring the intensity of an earthquake.

Richter Scale assigns a magnitude number to quantify the energy released by an earthquake.

PGA is equal to the amplitude of the largest absolute acceleration recorded on an accelerogram at a site during a particular earthquake.

Graph presents a record of the ground motion at a measuring point.

It measures the effects of an earthquake and it is distinct from the moment of magnitude.

Slight - Felt indoors, like a passing light truck.

Weak - Felt only on top floors of high buildings.

Rather Strong - Felt by all.

These values are used to create shake maps by seismologists on around the world.
