Moon Phases and Lunar Calendar Reviews

I use the application for my hobby, amateur radio. The altitude and azimuth are helpful when predicting where the moon will be at specific times. Knowing the moon’s location in the sky is critical, as our closest celestial neighbor moves 1 degree every 4 minutes. The data helps me plan where to point my parabolic dish to transmit or receive extremely faint signals bounced off of the moon by other radio amateurs.

I did not rate 5 stars because MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is still new to me and I am still deciding if it is worth 5 stars. However it is this far useful. I have not paid for any “unlocks” or upgrades within MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar . I need to use it longer and see if it is something that I would find beneficial. So far, no glitches, it seems accurate, it does not make my phone crash and MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar has not thus far crashed. I will update my review at a later date if I decide to purchase the upgrades or if I discover problems.

I really like to have MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar up as something that is always on with my iPad is chilling while I am at work, like it is a fun clock. I just think it would be really cool to see more with it.

For example, maybe something with astrology. You could have us users that pay put our date of birth in and work with a daily astrology website to see what is in-tune with user’s intuitions. Just a though to add further depth.

I hope that I didn’t offend, thank you for your app. It is very nice to learn more about this beautiful planet we live on with respect to other’s in and around our orbit.

I like MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar so much I paid for premium (which isn’t expensive and definitely worth it). The only thing I’ll say is it’d be amazing if the calendar widgets had a Monday start setting. I use a multitude of calendars to keep myself on track, and moon is the only one I can’t set to Monday.

Aside from that, love it.

There is only one start and finish for the golden/blue hours reported each day. There should be 2. For example right now the golden hour starts before sunset and ends the next morning. There should be a start/finish each morning and evening. You can figure out when the start and finish are from the chart, it’s just not intuitive.

I heard about MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar from a friend Tiffany who told me about moon bathing. I am a retired professor and now being left alone some days I cherish the greatest things that exist and show me peace and MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar helps me enjoy the new and full moon and how accurate its presence is and how magical it is. Appreciate all its miraculous healing to my soul. 🌖

I definitely recommend MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar to anyone who like to stay in tune with moon. Never had any issues with MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar . I almost wish there was more on MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar bc it is such a great app and I think they could add something to make MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar more interactive.

MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is amazingly simple and gives me exactly what I need. I need to track the new moon, the full moon, in the first quarter, and the third quarter. That’s all I really need, but it works quite well, and the UI is designed better than the other ones that I’ve tried.

Love MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar and use it regularly. Very nice graphics and functions like scrolling by day and by hour to see the moon’s progression. Information is easy to read and they include some astrology features. Really nice app, I will probably upgrade to the pro.

MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is great! There’s so much info and I can scroll way ahead to look for days particular to my magickal work I want to do. With other apps I could only scroll ahead 1 week. And this one’s free. That’s really helpful right now because of the pandemic.

MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is just what I wanted. I want to garden using the moon phase and sign and this includes calendars so I can look ahead and plan. It is easy to use, clear and attractive, if anything gives too much information! Perfect app for my uses. Thanks!

I just downloaded this and it has everything I'm wanting.... full and new moon notifications, moon calendar, astrological info, etc etc. but I'm keeping it and paid for it because I like that it also has a compass and a fun game! I'm very picky about my video games and this one is fun! plus you get a chance to win a free necklace! works for me 🙂

Outstanding app. One thing I wish it had was the angular diameter of the moon. This would be useful to quickly see how “big” the moon appears in the sky across different dates.

It’s good so far. No complaints. I haven’t had it long enough for a thorough review but I would say that I’m definitely excited about MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar . I especially like the full moon notifications complete with a Wolf howl.

I love MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar because it lets me know when the moon will rise and set in my area so I know when it will be in the day sky. It shows me a visual of the phase and I can see far in advance what to look forward to. It is perfect for my first class to chart the moon in the day sky😁

I love MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar. Tells you the EXACT time the moon goes into its phase. Couldn’t be happier. You can fast forward and rewind. Download it and see what I’m talking about. You’ll love it especially if your form of spirituality depends on moon phases.

Amazing widget and app. Could there be an option to change the color of the widget background? Or offer a black option instead of the pale blue?

Thus app allows everyone to be in step with the moon daily from dark new moon to full to waning back to new and start again approximately every 29 days

I was looking around for a app to help me keep track of the moon phases and the first few were downers but I love this one. It’s easy to understand and very informative with each phase of the moon. It’s the best moon app.

Knowing the phases of the moon and at what time is awesome. I find it essential when you feel connected to the moon phases and understand your surroundings better.

You didn’t even tell us that a zodiac calendar was added! You didn’t even tell us other great features were added! We give feedback but you failed to specify what was lately done with MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar . Not fair! One star this time just for this, however MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar itself is a five * * * * * star app for which I’ll give five stars next time again (if not accompanied by an insignificant Small bugs fixed release note, that is).

Tells me everything I need to know about phases of the moon AND sun: rise, set, nautical, golden hour, more. You can scroll minute by minute or month by month, and save multiple locations around the world.

This is an excellent app, filled with information about the phases of the moon and movements of the sun. You can removed the ads for $2.99. I highly recommend it.

An initial fix set off a series of subsequent fixes! App was working fine! What is the secrecy of not specifying? General rule: If it ain’t broke, don’t mess with it. Numerous updates drain our phone batteries!

MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is great, it tells you the phases of the moon, at what time the night end and nautical dusk, night, etc...And for those who are into the Zodiac. But the ((COMPASS IS A MESS)) sometime it shows that the north is facing west, yesterday the south was facing north. MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar is great please fix the compass.

I write a monthly “what’s up“ column for my astronomy club. MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar provides the precise moon data that I need, in a very easy to access manner. I highly recommend it.

When l get to use it it’s always working

I enjoy MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar. Tells you all about the moon phases, as well as, sun raise and sunset. Fun to use.

i downloaded this to keep better track of sun and moon rise/set times, and so far it's very useful. i haven't explored all of the features yet, but i'm looking forward to it!

If all you want to know is the moon phase, rise and set this is MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar for you.

You want moon phases? This gives you moon phases...very nicely.

I am so fed up with subscriptions and ad removals that I hesitated to download this one.

It's a 5 STAR app to me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The ads are not obnoxious. They don't cover half the screen or shut down or lock up MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar forcing you to first watch a video. I am rewarding the developers by purchasing the ad removals option because I really like MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar .

First off, I just wanted a simple way to see what the phases of the moon are/were/will be in the present/past/future. And this performed perfectly to get that information on the CALENDAR screen. To me the busiest times are around full moons so I can plan most of my apts outside these dates knowing those weeks will fill up with life's emergencies soon enough.

I addition I am finding wonderful uses for the different screen offerings.

The MOON screen gives distance, time, and position details but it also allows me to find the next full, quarter and new moon with one click on the arrow.

The SUN screen was an added bonus I never expected to use. I do enjoy watching the sunset from our hot tub or walking in the cool of the evening or morning. Often I miss that window because I get involved doing something. Now I have the information at my fingertips for sunrise/sunset, dawn/dusk and twilight as well for the blue and golden hours and nautical times- which I never before considered. They are some of the most picturesque moments to enjoy a walk.

I have even found myself going to the COMPASS screen. It's interesting to note the paths and positions of the sun and moon throughout the day and move backward and forward into days/times to note their journeys.

It reminded me of when I lived off the grid and used the sun to know how much time was left in the day to get things done or to regain my sense of direction. It made me understand the science behind navigation.

I am very pleased with MoonPhasesandLunarCalendar and hope it remains well supported.
