This game is fun and addicting and Skillz is really quite on to something convincing a bunch of people to throw their money away on a game they only have a small chance of making money on (like casino slots!)

In any case, I’m only giving it two stars because CubeCube still has a ton of bugs despite my efforts to re-install and update multiple times. For instance, it makes me run through a 30 second app ‘tutorial’ on how to add friends between every game. Occasionally you’ll win a game but it’ll say you aborted so you automatically lose. Lastly, on occasion, the game suddenly ‘slows’ mid-play in a way where I’m incapable of moving pieces with any sort of speed. And this is a speed game after all.

What makes this worse is that I’ve reported these bugs, screenshot-ed the errors, and while they’ve thanked me for reporting, they’ve never offered to reimburse me the money i paid to play ‘slowed’ or ‘aborted’ games... not even with ‘bonus cash’, which isn’t money i can withdraw anyways. That’s downright terrible customer and I’m moving on.

Yeah it’s legit. I think this is very first game I ever invested in. I never buy games, unless it’s consoles. I only play free until I got recommended by one of surveys as bad as their ads are, it look so much fake your thought comes up pfft this is a scam....but despite of their ads making....horrible I know but the system is legit. they actually do pay you. I deposited $10 and won like $8? And requested withdrawal, i for $18 in my account. It’s fun games. They don’t make one bored game, casino scammers, they make the games fun and challenge. You play against anyone all over the WORLD. It’s good and fun games for side hustles unless you are professional player, it’s your career. Sign up!

Waging money is the only way to move up on tiers. Tiers are a level you are playing to increase ranking. Increased ranking will allow you to build up your bank further so you can collect faster. Playing for fun will get you no where. Tether does give you free “money” credit along the way for achievements, but in the end you will lose more money than make money. I am a rather good player and I thought I was doing pretty good but I swear I felt like I was just spinning in my wheels getting no where. It literally feels like you are stepping one step forward and then two steps back. The “juice” that tether collects off of every tournament whether you win or lose is too high and it’s too difficult to catch up

I have to say the games are fun overall but as far as making money....... you are better off playing the lottery

Get the word out people! I’m making sure that I’m making posts all over social media to let everyone know how big a scam this is! I have a personal account and so does my husband. This weekend they shut down my account after I got 1st place in a tournament, I put money into the tournament and won a huge prize, then i get an email saying that my account has been taken down due to multiple accounts, which was my husbands account, so they kept his and took down mine because obviously they didn’t want to send out a huge prize to me but they are so willing to keep all the money I put into it! I’m so mad and I’m still waiting to hear back but if I dont get my prize I won fairly or my money I will be making a huge stink about this and I will make it my mission to give them a horrible name! As a business owner myself I couldn’t even imagine treating my customers In such a manner! I understand rules but we didn’t break any, but they were quick to shut down my account and not pull through with giving me my $300 prize!

Please be aware that if you lose your phone or it is stolen with thie service, you will lose any funds on your account. I logged back in to my over three year Skillz account after my phone was stolen, and reported that my funds were not there.

I was asked to provide proof of the payments, which I did. I was then told that they show no transactions were made on or to my account since 2018.

I sent several pictures of $195 worth of deductions that were posted on my account as Skillz * Esports, just from the present back to Saturday October 26th.

I was still informed (WITH PROOF) that they were unable to find the transactions and asked if it was paid through ApplePay because they have a different process that they would need to further look into if so.

I then gave them the last four of my Apple Wallet account and they still told me that I hadn’t spent any money since 2018. I feel defeated and have never been treated such away while provided the requested information. I felt as I was being called a liar, and was being treated as though I was the thief.

Please beware of this service! We as people are unable to control facts of life, that some people rather steal than work and earn things.

If at anytime you agent another phone or something happens to your last phone, be ready and willing to lose any funds that were added to your Skillz account. I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Please just be aware!!

I give it a 4 star rating because it’s sooo addicting. When I’m sleeping all I’m thinking about is the game. And it’s hard for me to focus, other than that.. it deserves a 5 star rating. Good job. And btw the only reason why it’s addicting for me is because I get attached to things easily. If you guys aren’t attached to things easily then this game is totally for you. If you guys are. You should still download it. Plus you get money off of this as well. But you should know that.. in order for you to play the game where you get Cash you’ll have to put fees. And you’ll need tickets. Loads of them. So if you play the practice one you’ll get tickets and coins. I haven’t paid for anything in this game and I have almost 50 tickets and I’m almost at my 200 coin. And I started this game 2 days ago. You’ll understand once you open CubeCube .

I have played my fair share of money games, so it’s safe to say I understand how it works normally and I’m very patient with their regulations etc. but no company is as worse as this company. They would not let me get into any games on my first account, it kept saying “error” so I decided to put in a request to delete that account, account got deleted…Then I made a new one, and the same thing happened. On top of that, They are wrongfully accusing me of having two devices. My husband and I both play games and I believe they have also banned his account because they are accusing us of being the same person based off of us sharing wifi connection or being in the same location.. I have followed all the rules, there should not be a reason why this is happening.. These games are not even worth a single second of your time, they will just take your money, and they will ban you so you don’t win any money. BIG SCAM.

I downloaded this game a while back and really liked the game play. Then I started putting money into it and did quite well. But then I realized that no matter how good I play, their playing matching algorithms are very bad and they matched me after I was done playing, so that they will just match me with someone with a higher score. Because of this I lost a lot of money and when I tried to complain to them about their match making algorithms and to improve it, they would not do anything about it. After that I won some amount to recover my losses and when I tried to withdraw that, they just blocked me! and they won’t even talk or reply to my emails anymore. And it shows people winning 30-40k through this game! really!? fraud! thats a way of trying to make people play it and then take away all their money. A serious action is required from apple to remove CubeCube from CubeCube store right away before more people loose their valuable money!

I can’t connect my “ real money bubble shooter” with this game eventhough they are both by Skillz. Lastly, since they both can not connect, I can’t talk to customer service about my concerns/ questions because I need to register myself in a non- affiliated email... then you’ll always see the advertisements to keep getting more skillz but my accounts were blocked. I lost all the money and the 2K points/ “Red Bill’s” I put into it. Customer Service can ignore or can be really nasty at times. I honestly think if nobody got the game yet- save yourself the headache and don’t bother with these games. Instead of having a stress reliever- it will get you stressed. If you want to make money playing I suggest you choose “ money grabber”, “SpinToWin Slots”, “Lucky day”, or “Winwin”.

Update: I know others who played and including myself, we’ve asked to get our money and we are told we will get it- but NEVER receive it. This is a scam. Save yourself the headache.

Common scenario— say for instance there is a league that is ending in 1 hour so you play non stop. Rather than pairing your matches with an opponent, Skillz often keeps the played matches in queue for many hours without pairing with an opponent. So while you may have played 20 games in hopes of winning one of the many prizes, you stand no chance because they hold 20 of your matches in queue, which is the equivalent of not having played at all. They rig their tournament/leagues in this fashion, deciding who can and cannot play despite having paid to play. How is this even legal? And when you call them out they send a copy and pasted response saying they have no vested interest in which player wins. It’s a shame they hire the most incompetent “customer service” staff who often mess up and copy paste response that hace absolutely nothing to do with what you wrote in about.

This top-notch, addicting app spills over with non-stop action and keeps you clamoring for more as each game comes to an end! What with real stakes gambling or playing for free to hone your skills, you’ll never be bored and if you’re not careful, this game will slowly creep into the time that’s normally earmarked for work or other important daily activities! In other words, you will “really” enjoy this game and it will keep you challenged at the same time but watch out for signs of addiction - LOL!!!!

Customer Support has been great; however, I’ve been playing for the last month and as of this week I have been having issue with CubeCube crashing on my iPad 6 and iPhone X (both running the current OS). CubeCube usually crashes once I complete a match and I have to close/re-open CubeCube and scroll down to my games to see the results or still looking for an opponent.

There have been a few times I am playing a money game and if I pause (leaving CubeCube in the background) I return to continue and the game says I’m “Now Playing” when the match ends it says I “Aborted” the game and lost. I have messaged support twice and both time they have responded in less than 3 hours and my match cost has been been credited.

This game ruined two days of my life! I made the brilliant idea of ​​downloading two apps, Cube Cube and solitary Cube, I deposited $ 10 in Solitarie Cube, I played CubeCube and I won, I made the mistake of downloading another Cube Cube app, I deposited another $ 10 and then in that game I had no luck., to my surprise two days ago I decided to open my application Solitaire Cube and play as usual But when I see my balance is $ 0.30 like the other Cube Cube app, send an email asking customer service that had happened with my money and the first two people who answered my email did not bother to read my situation., the third person who answered me said I would transfer with someone "expert" and the "expert" apparently did not know how to read my explanation, they managed to make me angry and steal me $ 30., well I hope that $ 30 will be used to buy an instructional of their own apps

I’ve been a frequent player of Skillz based games since October of last year spending over $200 on various games without making much money back. When I was frequently losing Skillz had no problem rewarding me for my prizes. Over the past couple months I’ve gotten much better at Skillz Cube Cube and other games. I recently placed well in a live tournament and was super excited about finally winning big! But then 2 days after my win I received an email threatening me with legal action if I ever played a Skillz based game again. This was obviously a shocking experience and really made me think about the motives of this company and their commitment to their consumers. Please think long and hard before depositing any real money in the Skillz platform. They are here to make a profit off of your failure.

Listen to me. CubeCube is scam. 100%. I’ll tell you two reasons why.
1. There is a high chance you have seen ads for CubeCube. It’s about that Mike guy winning $52,000. It also shows several other winners who won around $1,000. After watching the ad, I saw SOMEONE I KNOW in the ad holding a check for $200. I asked her about cube cube and she said she had NEVER HEARD OF IT. THE ACTORS ARE FAKE. You can see in the ad that they cut off the end of the giant check so you can’t see who it’s written from. What a scam.
2. For some reason, when you put in money into a game (let’s say, $10) it will randomly say “ABORTED” and leave the game... you end up losing $10 and not even being able to play.

I want to talk to someone about the actors on your ads. My friend (who won $200 off of a monopoly ticket from a store) might sue you. I want a reply. Unbelievable.

I find it funny how once u play for money 90%of the time u start without someone then after u start and when u finish u have to wait for the score they post which always seems to be higher. Looks like a scam to me. Seems like they see what your score is so they can make sure u get beat. Probably playing the computer. Will not be playing money on CubeCube again. Fun game if it was legit. Maybe try starting the games at same time and finish at same time or show in corner person u r playing while u play.

Ok got response from you on your game. So I put it to a test. The games I played for money that found me someone to play before game started I won 10 out of 12 games the games that couldn’t find me someone to play until after I posted my score I was 1 for 9 you say you don’t cheat people lol come on totally rigged outcome.

CubeCube is a downright scam, please for the love god, read this

Skillz games work where to 2+ players put in a wager for a single game or a tournament, typically you will play against a single person, if you play the money games you put in a wager of at least $0.60 and the other player puts in $0.60, the winners gets $1.00. Skillz keeps $0.20, that’s how they get paid. THEY WILL MAKE MONEY NO MATTER WHO WINS OR LOSES. They siphon off money from the massive pool of players. You get better at the game and they’ll just pair you up with players who are better than you. The purposely create a difficulty curve that you cannot be overcome. The point is to addict a large number of people and make money flip hands between the players while they slowly leech off our collective money pool. The whole thing is reminiscent of a pyramid scheme.

I must say the game is addicting and can be very rewarding!! BUT! There seems to be...Serious GLITCH! There has been numerous occasions when I’m playing for money when I’m about to start a match CubeCube closes out and when I try to get back to the game ! It no longer appears and becomes “ABORTED” then I lose my money! This has happened to me 3 times! This needs to be fixed! I find it odd because I’ve played with tickets and if I mistakenly hit my home button I am able to still pull up my game and continue! Come on guys fix this problem or more people will catch on of this glitch! I’m not happy about this.

Update since my last one.
I haven't been able to play for such a long time now. I still get that same message saying I'm not connected to the internet. It's too bad, I really like this game.

More than half the time It won't open.
It keeps saying, I have no Internet connection and to enable it.
I love the game, but it's not reliable enough.
It works for a couple days and then returns to the error message, I don't want to keep writing to tech-support.

I think what Longhorn4647 is saying is, even if the exact games are played, they can still be compared/matched with someone with a higher score.
There is no way to tell, if the games don't start at the same time, and you don't see who your opponent is.

I've started when my opponent did, messed up and ended over a minute early, just to see there game was over as well, but they had beat my score by a couple thousand. That just doesn't seem right.

SO, as much as I want to play for cash, I won't, because it really does seem like something is off.

So I instead spend HOURS playing free games. No loss there and I love the game itself. (When it works)

Although I originally downloaded 3 of the Skillz Powered apps to see if it was really possible to earn real $ I’ve actually enjoyed playing these just for fun. I have earned $2 on one but it does take significant game play to get there.

Only recommendation would be to make the play and home screens for each game a little less busy looking. In addition, one of the apps will not allow the sounds effects and music to be muted...the settings option is not currently working to reduce volume or remove sounds.

Been playing this game for years and always got tired of running out of coin to be able to compete in any worth while competitions but now… the way they got the game set up …it actually allows you to earn real cash back enabling you to invest towards more plays! Awesome work to them developer guys! Although ….they have taken the one cent play option away, I still kept playing the game even though THAT was almost a deal breaker from my stand point -I stayed dedicated to the game itself. I have even won runner up in one of their tournaments and even though my mailing address had recently changed, they took the time to make it a point of making contact with me through e-mail and eventually, I was very grateful to be the recipient of a winning gift (a hard book cover recipe book) ….that I absolutely love so much that I am going to try making almost all the recipes in it because they are THAT FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS LOOKING!

I’ve been playing this game for years. Seen it go through a lot of new things and I used to love it. It really turned for me when they brought on friend matches that costed like .25 cents. I loved that on simple days when I didn’t want to spend almost a $1 per match. The game used to also used to give out free cash every once in a while for the daily prize. They no longer give out free cash prizes even though you spend money to play this game…. They used to do it a lot on Holidays as well and have not done this in a veryyy long time! I want to say almost 2 years now… It made me excited to as I spend money to play the game. Then they introduced better prizes for logging in everyday. Where if you logged in 7 days in a row there were guaranteed cash prizes. They stopped doing that as well… it’s just not as fun it seemed like they used to care about their players now they’ve gained a bigger following and could care less. It’s all about more money and not the enjoyment of their players

Buyer beware. CubeCube regularly crashes. When you play for money and CubeCube crashes, your money disappears (your opponent wins and CubeCube keeps their cut). A better designed app would allow you to just start from the point of the crash, but this Skillz app is not designed well (none of them are… they all have the same problem). They’ll tell you that you need your phone powered up. And to be in a good connection. You could be plugged in and sitting within inches of your WiFi router and CubeCube will crash (technically, it never connects to the server, but it still shows you as having aborted your game). They should be careful. A more litigious person will fill a class action lawsuit to recover the money they’ve stolen from these crashes.
