This game is lots of fun in the beginning, and I think a lot of people most likely play it for a few days and delete it. I am not that kind of consumer. I try to beat or max out even silly games like this one. One of the currencies in game are called “diamonds”. And they are very rare to get without paying money for them. There is an item in the shop that costs 20 diamonds to permanently double income. I excruciatingly saved up my diamonds (spending no real-life money whatsoever) until I had 20. I thumbed over to the 2x permanent increase and it was green as in “you can buy me!” So I tap it. And I tap it again. It isn’t working? I close the game and reopen it, hoping it was just some random glitch. Nope. Still wasn’t working. So I got to thinking, and I realize that the games developers don’t let you buy anything with diamonds if you haven’t spent real money on them. This is a kick to the face to people like me who like to play not buy through a game. Really great game, but in the long term it gets worse and worse, forcing the long term players to spend money on things they don’t want to. Disappointing.

If you’re not willing to drop 3 bucks to play this game, get ready to do almost as much as watching as playing the game. I took a stop watch and timed the amount of actually game time before you had to watch an ad again, and it was 13 seconds with a mandatory 7 second ad time so essentially if we’re going by ratio of time alone, you spend about a third of your time “playing” this game watching ads. So the way it works is it’s set to play an ad every time you break down three cubes, if you are manually breaking them down it takes no time at all to break them but feels like forever to make any progress cause every three cubes you break down you have to watch ANOTHER AD! This game takes the whole ad thing to a scummy level that just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. All of the progress I made wasn’t done in game. It was done by letting my tools collect money for me over time so that I could upgrade stuff when I came back and not have to sit through constant ads. Do yourself a favor, don’t even attempt to play this game unless you’re gonna buy the premium version. It’s a worthless experience otherwise.

I’m pretty sure everyone know that money talks. But is it to much to ask for by saying calm down with the adds.

I downloaded this game thinking that it would be another grind until you can’t grind anymore, but I didn’t expect a game that gives adds every five seconds. As a community I may speak for all of us in saying the adds are to overwhelming, if you creators are looking for a way to make your game better, what you could start with is less adds, because one things for sure, you’ll be making money no matter what, whether it be every add you show or the stupidly high cost for paying for no adds(which btw, 2.99 is a bit of a stretch, most likely you’ll lose people that’ll play your game than attract people).

As a person that plays games for a living, I would say that this games all out amazing. It’s addictive, colorful, and fun 100%. But I speak for everyone that plays this when I say “Calm down with the adds”. You don’t have to flood us with an add every five seconds.

This game has a really amazing concept and is super fun to play, however the ads are overwhelming. Every couple of boxes you destroy (which doesn’t take that long) another ad pops up. You end up spending more time watching ads then actually playing the game. I’m aware that there is a no-ads option but I’m also not about to spend $3 just so that I can play a game. Again this game was an awesome idea and I think that it could be an amazing game as long as people could actually play it. I enjoy playing the game and leveling up my tools it’s just frustrating when every 45 seconds or so another ad plays forcing me to stop playing and watch the ad. All I’m saying is that I think more people would download, continuously play, and recommend this game if there were less ads. I hope you consider this review and try to improve your game. I’m not opposed to some ads, but the amount right now is too many. Thank you.

At first, TheCube seemed great. I liked the design and the satisfying breaking of blocks.

Later on, though, when I had saved up for enough diamonds, I tried to buy a 4 hour time warp with 10 diamonds. It wouldn’t let me click on the button, even though it was lit up and I had enough. It wasn’t an IRL purchase, so I decided to see if turning on airplane mode would help (also to turn off ads). This crashed my game. So I tried to restart it. No other games that have in app purchases crash the game like that. Even if I try to do something online in the game, it just says I can’t play it. It doesn’t crash the whole thing! I couldn’t even play the game because it crashed the moment I opened TheCube after I tried to get the warp.

Oh, and don’t get me started on the ads. Every time I break a block it seems like 7 ads pop up. You need to fix this or else you’ll be losing more people than gaining. I turned off airplane mode once, and I STILL HAD ADS.

Ok Here’s the reason why I gave this game three stars instead of five. The first reason is because of Ads the Ads are just plain annoying every time I complete a cube it brings up an add sometimes the same one it drives me nuts. The second reason is because of the cubes it came to the point were I maxed every mine tool I mined them in a millisecond, so what I’m trying to say is that make the cubes bigger as you progress into the game. Ok the final reason is the Level up bar the rewards don’t transfer for me but for others it might it might be a glitch for me but I’m fine I git a mill when I’m away okay here’s the actual final problem is the touching if I use two-or more(like 4) it would close TheCube or not even count as a touch. Well that’s all if you read this making ibprovemts for this game would be great btw take ROBLOX for an example of no ads(don’t copyright roblox) thanks.

I'll preface this by saying I've paid the $3 to get rid of ads, but I'm still taking a star off because the game was practically unplayable until I paid. Secondly, WHY don't any of the store buttons work? I had to go through TheCube store to pay for the ad removal, and I have enough diamonds to buy a 2x multiplier just from playing and every time I press the purchase button, nothing happens, I literally can't press the button to use my diamonds, nothing happens, the button doesn't even move, I've tried being careful not to swipe left or right, I've tried 3D touch, just about everything. Other than those two gripes, this is pretty entertaining, it's a fun idea and the idle mechanics are Implemented well, I think it's worth it to remove ads, but that's me, if you're a little more frugal, then skip this one.

Well first off the ads. Yes they are insane but I turn on airplane mode and boom all gone!

Second I would love bigger cubes. They could either be just slowly getting bigger and bigger or another mode where everyone works together to take down GIANT cubes like that game oh so long ago where an entire community of people helped take down a insanely giant cube to get to the center for a prize that was never received. You could just make it so whoever destroys the center block gets a huge amount of gold/P2W currency or just give everyone a large amount depending on how much they helped with this cube. I would absolutely love if either of these 2 happened.

TLDR: Turn on airplane mode to avoid all ads. Also would really like bigger cubes either with multiplayer or still single player.

The game (like all voodoo games) is ok. Its kind of like a cookie clicker where the game is pointless and the only reason to keep playing is just to upgrade your stuff to get more money to uprgrade your stuff. An infinite cycle. Im not saying its a bad game, its just there too many games just like this one. But thats not the point. The amount of adds is unbearable. After two rounds (each 4 seconds long) there is an add. I know the games are free and need a way to make money but thats just too much. Im tired of seeing the same adds over and over again every 8 seconds. So much that i am uninstalling TheCube . Would not recomend to anyone. Its is a waste of time and very pointless unless you want to get stressed out. This is the first review i have ever written for any game, i just wanted to warm anyone that was gonna get the game what they were getting themselves into. Thats how stressed i am. Do not install!!!!

They produce decent enough idle games but there ad saturation is over the top. Banner ads plus forced video ads on regular intervals. These ad company’s only pay out for the impression and cps like 5 percent of how many ads are popped up at you. They waste more money in the data used than what is made off of the impression. Seriously need to learn how to encode proper time intervals in to your ads. One every 20 seconds is just a complete and total waste of resources and makes your players not even want to open TheCube . Maybe have an award system to enable banners for 30 seconds or watch a video ad. Take a hint from bitcoin billionaire. The way they set up ad delivery works and lets the advertiser see a better return on capital rather than just forcing an ad down the throat of a player every 20 seconds.

Hello,on this game I keep getting ads when I just started it was only 2.5 sec on the thing I did only 1 block and a add there are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyto many ads but even when I first downloaded it ads and it may glitch it did on mine so I had to wait 10 ads 10 ADS it may glitch on yours but it glitches on mine a lot this is why I don’t mostly play the types of games with ads I’ve already deleted about 20 of them so I feel pretty disappointed in this game I don’t like the ads it’s like in a ad that’s quick it’s non ads at all well when little Timmy downloads it all he see is a ad then a ad then a ad then a ad and so on I don’t really know why these ads keep popping up but yeah...

This is a great game, I love the simplicity of it and how it all works, but the only thing I dislike is, THERE ARE SO MANY ADS!!! It seems like every 3 or 4 cubes you get an ad, and you get through the cubes pretty fast so there are a lot of ads. I’m not saying get rid of them completely, but just make them not as often, maybe every 8-10 or something like that. If you are a person who is thinking about getting this game, I would definitely recommend it but I just want to warn you that the ads are CRAZY! Maybe in a future update they will take my idea and use it, and then this game will be even more awesome than it already is.

Cool because you can just like do you stuff OK you are like a good company I think that you could be a better company by doing like more games that would be the best games ever and I don’t know what it’s just so very nice to have you stay have to know Wednesday is this game forever tablet I still got it again so I just am staying in the things that you guys are great company great company because IMore games and I just don’t know like I need to make more games more games or just make it so much better like you not like so good five starships I don’t want it I

So essentially, if you drag your finger across the screen, you clear the blocks of this cube with a treasure chest in the middle. It acts like it’s supposed to be some sort of adventure capitalist like game where you can buy upgrades for the cube and blah blah, but honestly, you can clear a whole cube in a literal second. So what, right?

The big problem is literally every three cubes you get an ad. On top of that, there’s no real incentive to keep playing. Oh, this cube is white with green inside. Oh, this cube is magenta and blue. There’s three colors in this cube before the same treasure chest. Here’s an ad. With all the ads for this game up, you’d think there’d be more to it, but not really. Even as far as time wasters go, you’ll be spending more time in ads than you will playing, so who cares about this one?

An obvious bummer is the ads. Ohhhh the ads. Even though they’re bad, that’s not what I’m talking about. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t by ANYTHING with the diamonds. It shows that I can buy stuff, but it won’t let me tap anything in the store. It’s so annoying! I should have been able to buy SO much stuff with diamonds now! It’s just not working! I haven’t read through many comments, so I haven’t been able to see if this is a common problem, but if it is, you guys - the devs - should fix this as soon as possible. This and the ads makes it such a nuisance to play it should be worked on until you’ve fixed your app.

It's a great game but answer just so annoying I just got the game about 12 hours ago I want to say and I saw all the reviews but I just didn't want to deal with the ads so I turn my Wi-Fi off. It's very addicting and very calming but the thing about the ad is that we put ours in almost every game they make which is annoying. So all the reviews but I still thought I should give it a chance I was just playing fortnight give me a chance because it looked kind of fun. So I hope you guys will try to.

This game is very addictive and a great stress reliever but the one thing that annoys me in the ads! I mean after every single cube you complete an ad pops up and you can’t exit out of it! It makes the game go way downhill. I had read the reviews before I downloaded it and once I started playing I counted how many ads. I played for two days and found that there was about 20+ ads!

I will admit I knew about the ads since my friends had told me and the reviews but I mean do they need that much money?! I was still surprised how many ads there were! It is a complete and utter disgrace to a great game like this. It makes it go way downhill. I’ve not taken much time on this review but I feel very annoyed at the ads, so I felt I should let others know.

This game is super fun, I really like games like this, and TheCube is one of my favorites. The only thing I find wrong with it is there is an issue I found.
I have enough gems to get a multiplier, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Its not a big issue, it doesn’t interfere with gameplay, but its kinda frustrating to not be able to get more cubes when I know I am able too. As for ads, I just play with airplane mode when I’m home and since I play on an IPad, i can play anywhere else without ads.

This game is super fun to play for me but there are ads almost constantly. If I press a button: ad! If I break a cube: ad! If I buy something: ad! I even get ads when it asks me if I want to watch a video to get 3 times what I've earned and I select NO! You get ads so much in this game it makes it hard to have fun and while I understand that you get money off of people paying togged rid of them it's just not right to have this many and distracts people who can't afford to pay money on games' experience. I actually did the math and on average there is an ad every 30 seconds! This is ridiculous and I am very sad to be unable to play this very fun app due to this atrocity of ads.

The most boring game I’ve played in a while! Not only does it take only 2 seconds to finish off a cube, but you get an ad after every 1-2 cubes! And the ads play longer than it takes to demolish a cube. On top of that, unless you’re missing your hands, feet and/or nose, the game is NOT challenging, it’s just not. Leveling up seems completely pointless. Rewards feel useless! Each cube is exactly the same as the last, just different colors (hence the lack of challenge/creativity). And other than the little massage your hands get from your phone vibrating, the game is just no fun. This game is essentially an ad viewing app with the occasional interruption of scribbling your finger on the screen for a second or two! Absolutely disgusting!!!
