Loveeee this app

HasebaCalculator is amazing for many reasons but I do wish there was a bit more.

First of all it’s free. which is really nice compared to other high quality calculators.
HasebaCalculator quality is really nice and I love the colors and the amount of customization. I do wish there was conversion features but other than that it’s amazing.

?

This is weird. HasebaCalculator Store says there are themes and that you can change HasebaCalculator icon, but not only can I find no settings for this calculator anywhere, but the markings on each key are underlined for some reason, which makes the functions of the keys more difficult to discern than should be. HasebaCalculator Store listing also says HasebaCalculator has 4.6 or 4.8 stars and a bunch of reviews (or maybe ratings?), but I can’t find a single review. It’s all very odd.

Latest versions have UI issues, I shouldn’t have updated

I had replaced the stock calculator app with this because I can do parenthetical math calculations and it’s super useful. However, I updated and now my inputs go off screen. Previous early iterations of HasebaCalculator condensed everything and the text size would dynamically shrink to show the full inputs, but now I start crunching away long equations and it just disappears off screen.

Happy to update my review if this is ever fixed, but this just put it in unusable territory for me.

Cant find it because of the name

I really like HasebaCalculator. Unfortunately because its name is not intuitive at all I have a really hard time locating it on my iPad and can’t search for it without remembering the name. It would be a lot better if “calc” or “calculator” were in the name. I just have too many apps and use this one too infrequently to justify giving it a more prominent place on the Home Screen.

icon color won’t stay

i paid for the pro version, and chose a color scheme i like best. I selected “match icon to color” but it never sticks. I tried unchecking and rechecking the option, but the icon only flashes my colors once, and reverts back to the original color.

Excellent overall, could use history pane

This is my favorite ipad calculator so far. Very attractive and functional, and actually processes percentages. I love the color palettes, memory and history. My only wish is to see a scrollable history panel, like some others offer. The current options are great, but the history panel is a strange omission.

Simple

I really like HasebaCalculator for the iPad. It’s easy to use, looks great, and to purchase the full version doesn’t break the bank! Nice colors on the paid version, too! My only complaint is that I can’t get it to work using a bluetooth number keyboard or even the numbers on the wireless iPad keyboard itself. You have to touch the screen. This doesn’t give me the ease of use that I was hoping for. I needed something that would work with the number pad. I’m still pleased with it, but that one thing would make a huge difference.

Very good calculator but…

It’s a really good calculator compared to the others I have used so far – though I’d like to point out a few things I wish this calculator had. First of all, a list view of history will be a great addition to the calculator. Secondly, (something that is very important to my workflow) the ability to edit any input from history, plus a cursor to edit the inputs, so that I can fix any mistake from anywhere. Lastly, the ability to perform the nth root of a number is greatly appreciated. Though I must point out, the second suggestion is the most important for me. It’s a great calculator nonetheless; however, I have paid for the full version, and so I expect the developer(s) to add the aforementioned features. I would’ve given it a 5 star review, otherwise.

Almost perfect

Great visuals. On point and doesn't require a subscription. It's almost perfect except for 2 key items: 1) "calc" or "calculator" not in the name, so when searching all apps you can't find it - Please update your app to fix this .. and 2) Keyboard support isn't there as it's touch screen only - Also please fix this easy to add feature. Overall though it's very nice and is currently the best available imho. Please enhance - TY for product.

Practical functions are here

This has the right features. Like being able to correct an error when totaling a column of figures. Remember when you could look back at the adding machine tape to check for errors? And the correcting features make this my preferred calculator app of the four (incl iphone) apps I have on my phone!

Excellent

Works perfect on the new iPad m1 12.9. Can use side by side and as an independent window. Phenomenal. Thank you for making its basic function free without ads. To find that themes are included is amazing. If you want trigonometry functions you’ll have to pay to unlock it but it’s not pushed on you with advertisements or pop-ups. Very classy very well done.

Take My Money

I can not believe how hard I had to look to find an ad free functional calculator that wasn’t trying to have me pay a recurring payment just to use all its features. I gladly bought the full version.

Best Calculator

I usually never write review but please don’t change your name for your “calculator” app. You made it you get to name it whatever the heck you want to name it the heck. Idc if it’s not intuitive towards a white person like myself LMBO apple could nevaaa. Period I bet your parents are proud of you! Keep doing you keep your original name let the Americans stop being lazy and sear HAS in the search bar.

All You Need, With No Tracking!

I really wanted parentheses. It has that. I love my prompts are on a different line from the output line.
I can't stand when my prompts replace the answer line and I'm trying to remember what I had before. Really nice job on HasebaCalculator.

Great Calculator - Without Trackers

Thank you for a great product and thank for respecting your customer's privacy. Free app with ads are ok, but not when one is paying. BTW see if you can get Apple to buy your product as their calculator stinks!

Looked like what I wanted but doesn’t work

I bought HasebaCalculator specifically to have a calculator with memory function. Unfortunately the memory function doesn’t work. I have reported the issue, maybe I can get a version that works.

Update: Operation of HasebaCalculator is fine. I was not using the proper gesture with the memory slot. You have to touch and drag down on the memory slot, not just tap.

Simple and beautiful calculator

This is a calculator that doesn't have anything stupid or unnecessary attached to it. The color schemes offered are BEAUTIFUL. I'll be downloading HasebaCalculator in every apple device I ever own!

Good Job Ahmed, one suggestion

Please rename this so when I’m in the middle of work on iPad mini and need to get calculator quickly when I type in “calc…” HasebaCalculator will pop up. Currently I have to remember Has, which isn’t intuitive for an English speaker like myself, or I have to find it in HasebaCalculator Library. Otherwise thanks for doing what apple can’t or won’t, who know why, they know better even when they don’t.

Good calculator

Thank you for a good privacy policy. For improvements I repeat what others have said: please enable keyboard usage and change its name to Calculator Haseba so we can find it in search

Fast and no ads!

When i need to use a calculator i do not have time to wait for it come up slowly, play commercial and ask for fees. All calculators on app store do that. Some are worse than the others except Haseba. It comes up very fast and has the smallest footprint. Excellent calculator!
