Much Better App now

The revised Magster reader which hosts MJ seems to have resolved most of the viewing issues. I read the issue and articles now on my tiny iPhone 6SE and have No Problem. Clear and Normal reading. Like a lot of others here I had given up last year. Also, the separate download of Magster confused and angered me. It’s still not the more funded CondeNast publications but I can say All is well. I can read David Corn. I can read about people I don’t know. Works well and straightforward with my iPad too.

I’m cancelling my subscription because this app makes MJ unreadable

Every other magazine app I subscribe to allows text resizing. Not this Magzster version of Mother Jones—ugh. I plan to renew my subscription directly through MJ’s, thereby saving $2 and enabling me to read comfortably sized text.

Difficult to navigate on mobile

Awkward to read article, not designed for mobile phones.

So biased that it impedes the story

This website is so extremely biased and hateful towards Donald Trump that I don’t even consider it to be news. I can’t even get the truth about a news story. There have been so many times where I fact check the articles on this site and every time they get proven to be a lie. Mother Jones does not publish news but rather a bunch of biased lies.

Journalist integrity

This is definitely the best magazine I read! David Corn is always a hand ahead of more than any others I've read.

I expected more from MJ

I join the ranks who is frustrated about not being able to read the magazine within IOS/IPAD. I also sent an email to MJ and also received no response from them. I doubt I will renew my subscription after this term. Mother Jones you have let me down and need to restore mine and others faith. SAD.

Adequate

So far it's been adequate.

Paid for Nothing

Purchased MotherJones through apple app store and MotherJones is asking for a subscription payment . You have to pay twice? Cannot find anywhere to contact someone

By

Terrible app

Insists on registering with app company - and then repeatedly just endlessly spins and will not allow registration. Done numerous times. Same results. Help link to app is a marketing site. Worst experience with magazine app ever! Mother Jones get a real app! Asking for refund. Never again

By

Poorly designed

MotherJones needs to be optimized for mobile. It’s difficult to read articles and glitchy at times. It has crashed a few times as well which needs to be addressed.

By

Thought there was a free tier...

But not really, this is just an app advertising and delivering the paid contact.

The previews make it clear I wouldn’t want to read their magazine in MotherJones. Not optimized for mobile. Tiny, tiny. This is a magazine for ants!

Mother Jones Review

It is current, informative and makes you think!

Customer Service is pitiful

I subscribed print and digital. I should be able to download an App for MJ. I cannot and the user ID and password will not work. I wrote the mag but no responses.

By

App is not supported and doesn’t work

Better to read the magazine on your browser. App doesn’t work.

By

Worse than useless

Denies my subscription, which has seven months left to go, and provides no remedy. Mother Jones ought to look into this service. It’s making me hate a magazine I used to love.

By

Subscription

App will not allow a login, registration nor recognize my subscription. Worthless to me.

By

This app does not recognize my paid subscription

MotherJones does not recognize my paid subscription so it is useless.

By

Dreadful

Won't let me access articles (despite my subscription) and crashes frequently.

By

Not a Mother Jones app

This is not a MoJo app, but an app that you can use to buy MoJo. If you subscribed from MoJo website, you can not access the magazine with MotherJones. :(

By

Twits!!!

Why would you send a notification at 2:05 AM??? That’s so damned annoying. I’m going back to sleep now.

What's the point of this?

What's the point of MotherJones if there's no way to access my existing subscription to Mother Jones?

Can’t read 2 small

Not optimized iPhone need magnifying glass to read

Fails to recognize subscription

Just tried to sell mags

Great Magazine

WORTHLESS APP

Get your act together developers. Jeez.

Poor Subscription Management...

Let me start by saying that this journal offers worthwhile articles and information, and is definitely worth subscribing to. The only problem is that for the iOS app there is no way to sign in using an active subscription.

I called customer service for help, and they told me to sign into Zinio (another app) to read the magazine, but the problem is that there is no way to subscribe to MJ on that app either.

Fortunately, I subscribed to paper and digital for a year on the website ($12), so I don't need MotherJones to get the issues. It would have been nice to have my digital subscription honored within the MJ app itself though... Just sayin.
