Recently purchased a $400 wheel kit from oracle and spent $600 on installation just for the Bluetooth connection not to work 75% the time even when I’m right next to it. Very disappointed. App needs quite a lot of bug fixes for sure but once these issues are corrected I’d be happy to write a good review because when they do work (25% of the time) they do what they’re suppose to do. I wish the color ways had names as well so I can change it behind the wheel or at meets!

MagicLED is something that could have been done in a junior high computer science class. And yet you his is what they came up with? An app that rarely connects to the product, when it does you get to scroll through 200 different combinations and try to remember which ones you like. You can’t mark favorites. Oh, did I mention that MagicLED has issues connecting to the lights. I have had to uninstall and reinstall MagicLED multiple times to get it to connect. The lights themselves are awesome, MagicLED is not.

I like MagicLED it’s easy to use and everything but I use it for my car and I have led lights in the headlights. So making these few improvements would make MagicLED so much better

1. Make it so you can see what type of colors and patterns are in each mode.. For example if I press mode 21 I would like to see what colors and the motion/pattern are apart of mode 21 on MagicLED .

2. Make it so we can add our own designs and patterns that’ll make MagicLED 1000 times better too.

This is the controller recommended by Mokungit for their addressable RGB strips.
MagicLED doesn't work. I do get "invalidate device" , which is probably Chinese for "invalid device". But which device? My iPad? The Magic Controller SP105E? Or the WS2811 driver IC? Can't be the latter, since it is a dumb one wire interface. The Controller can't know what's connected. Or does it mean that the interface is not supported ? Very disappointed. Poor out of box experience and lack of information all around. No info on the web site either and I'm sure I'm not the first with this issue.

Absolutely trash app super disappointed. I have lighting trendz flow series under glow and because of the garbage app I can’t use it they way I want. It constantly disconnects and I have to force close MagicLED and re-open it. You think the developer would want to create something that works properly. Apple should kick you off MagicLED Store for being such trash programmers. There’s companies that make great products and request MagicLED to be able to use all the functions available with whatever lighting kit you have. If I have to pay for it I will if that means you’ll make a decent product. Get your things in order and fix your mess. Also how about you give the ability to save your lighting instead of always having to choose for the list of Bluetooth crap

The light modes are awesome but nothing is labeled. They’re all MODE 1-200 so you have to scroll through each one to see what it is and you don’t know what’s on until you get out of the vehicle and see When you select a preset solid color it doesn’t show in the middle of the color wheel what color is showing. I’ve had my lights installed for 1 week and now when I open MagicLED to connect to Bluetooth, the Bluetooth module in the car won’t even register with my phone so I have no way to connect and when it did connect it would disconnect not even 20 ft away. If the owners are reading this please download XK Glow’s app XK Chrome and copy what they did because their app is pretty amazing, MagicLED needs a lot of work.

All in all I love the different lighting modes available but I hate that the different sequences aren’t labeled. I also have issues connecting to my Bluetooth controller quite often. Hopefully lighting trendz is able to fix this problem and MagicLED can be updated to the small things as car enthusiast we need.

So far I do like MagicLED and it works seamlessly when done right. I have no connection issues when synced with my Starry Night Halos. However I do have a few things I wonder that could be improved upon.
1. Adding a nickname for the devices. I have two devices connected that are SP105E and I have to turn them on and off to figure out which is which every time. A simple way to give each one a specific nickname would make it easier to select the right device.
2. Maybe add a password to Bluetooth device.
3. As for me the Green and Red are complete opposites. When I click the red box I get green and when I click green I get red.

MagicLED is ok when it finds your device, but loses connection after awhile and you have to sync your device again. MagicLED works great when LED functions are selected, but again does not automatically connect you have to open app and connect to your device.

Other app works better than this one where you open MagicLED and it shows your LED are on and what color is selected.

When connected to your lights it works great! After opening another app or simply setting you phone down for 5 mins it disconnects. When around others with bluetooth devices it’s impossible to reconnect. Needs to have an option to save selected modes because there’s so many you can’t remember which are the ones you like.

MagicLED is great for controlling my many LED combination strips in my show car BUT PLEASE update MagicLED to give the option to not only rename your connections but also to flag or rename your favorite modes. I attend several car shows every year and when you have 15-20 different devices that pop up on your controller, it is very cumbersome to figure out which one is yours. PLEASE FIX!!!!

Good app to do what you want, only wish there was an option to rename the patterns or even select favorites. I have at least 200 patterns and I can't remember what any of them are and if I wanted to get to... maybe mode 150 I would have to scroll all the way to it. Would be nice to have the Modesto patterns you want on a favorites bar.

MagicLED works well with Aclorol SP105E and Aclorol WS2811 LED RGB lights. There are about 200 pre programmed options for lights, however MagicLED is very basic and there is no option for programing the lights. It would be very helpful to at least be able set certain pre-programmed light options in suscession (i.e. program #45, 46, 47) to repeat over and over. Currently, I am just using the random feature and letting it go, but during the holidays it would be nice to take some of the green and red light options and rotate them. Another nice feature is that even after I set the one sequence (in my case random), even without connection to MagicLED, it continues to do that sequence.

Love the oracle under glow on my car, but with 200 modes and no way to actually see the lights change, you need to open your door and physically look. Would be 5 stars if you could either visualize on MagicLED what the lights are doing, or a way to mark favorites and name them based on the color/function. Please look into adding something like this ASAP.

I like MagicLED it's work great as far as the select options for my lights I have no glitches. The only thing I don't like is The fact that when you open MagicLED to turn your Bluetooth on and you leave it open and say you let your headlights on for a few hours while you're driving or at a show if you go to turn off the lights you have to close out of MagicLED to re-open MagicLED to get your Bluetooth to reconnect. It does this even if your phone is only within a few inches to maybe a foot away. Other than that small little issue I have no other problems with MagicLED.

MagicLED works well but they should make this a widget, it would be extremely useful as a widget and I also wish it shows what color the lights are when you first turn them on

App work great. Only issue is when you hit the button for solid green the lights come on solid blue, when you hit the button for solid blue the lights come on solid green. Same thing if you go into the wheel to change the modes of the light. Otherwise no issues.

I made a custom lightsaber with this and it looks awesome, but is there any way you guys can make the slowest speed available be stop, so i could pause whatever color pattern they are on? This would be great for photography.

I just did the latest IOS update on my IPhone and now MagicLED doesn’t work. Main search screen comes up but when I pick the device MagicLED closes. Is there a fix coming? And yes I restarted my phone and deleted MagicLED and re-added it.
