The most recent update claims to have added support for Lithium batteries. It doesn’t let you select lithium batteries though. My lithium batteries show up as lead acid, and that screws up the read out. It looks like it assumes that any voltage reading above a certain point means the battery is charging, but LiFePOs can hold a charge above 14 V, so BatteryMonitorBM2 shows “charging” all the time. Lithium also has a different discharge curve than Lead Acid, so BatteryMonitorBM2 will show low battery when it’s not. Finally, the way these apps contrive to collect your location data is tiresome. Gratefully Apple lets you block it.
