I got DarknessBot for my Gotway MSP, it is certainly miles ahead of the Gotway apps and is very well put together. I love how you can adjust your speed and have a very accurate sense of how far you have gone. My only two complaints are voltage/battery level reading and range estimates, ever since I got my wheel I assumed it was faulty from factory because it never fully charged to 100%, I then a few days ago connected to another app called euc world which showed me my wheel was actually fully charged all along. I also have frustrations with range estimates, at 100% It tells me I have 34 miles of range when I really get 60-70miles, I’m not sure if this is a bug but it is very inaccurate. Other then that I am extremely pleased overall with DarknessBot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean easy to use app that lays all the information out in a simple pattern.

Better then the actual gotway app but not always accurate for better levels for MCM5, and does a fake auto connect. So it’ll say “GotWay #### connected” in my phone but when I open up am DarknessBot it forces me to reconnect. Would be nice to have it always connect and reset trip time automatically.

Would easily rate this 5 stars if there was a function to cause phone to vibrate/play sound through headphones when max speed beeps occur. Combine that with Apple Watch compatibility and DarknessBot would be incredible. I’m at the point of learning how to design an app on my own just to achieve this function, I’d probably pay $10 for it if offered as a pro version and it worked well.

I wish you could see your heart rate like in the eskate app Yours Truly, and also graph 2-3 metrics together with each other. Also would be nice to correlate where you are on the map with your graph values. I’m a heavy individual and I’d like to know what my power consumption is like doing different things.

i have been using this app on all my gotway wheels for over two years. DarknessBot developers are easy to reach and listen to the rider’s requests for sensible add on and changes.
DarknessBot also works on iwatch. i have not had any issues with DarknessBot and find it very useful. highly recommend DarknessBot.

DarknessBot works on my solowheel glide 3. It’s way better than the inmotion app itself. I can adjust sleep set speed limits check battery level tells you how many miles you’ve traveled your range. Basically everything that you need to know.

Generally pretty good but is missing critical functions with respect to alarms on speed by battery %, maximum current alarm, and maximum temperature alarm (Wheelog does all these for example).

Additionally the alarms that are there are to the phone, ant the vibrating the watch (at least not that I’ve been able to notice) nor are they audible (Gyrometrics allows so each warnings delivered wherever the iPhone audio is, for example you Bluetooth speakers or headphones).

The best thing of all is, it works across most all the major manufacturers and models. The developer is in constant contact thru the electric unicycle forum and responds the the requests of the community. The GUI allows you to move the tiles around, even among the pages so you can create a page of tiles to show exactly the data set you want.

It worked great even on all my euc’s. Even the ones that aren’t officially supported. I do recommend paying for all the extras though. It helps support a good an app and will hopefully get the devs to update it to add support for the latest and greatest wheels.

Very happy with it. You can manipulate the tiles that you want on one screen. Seems to be accurate on mileage and battery life. Easy to use and much easier to read than the Segway app. The larger font is very nice for older people like myself.

Can you guys please add the ips 121 to y’all app.
I used to have an app for it on my iPhone but then it suddenly stop working after the updates and all and now I can’t keep track of my battery percentage, or my my speed settings.

Absolutely fantastic can’t recommend enough much more user-friendly interface than native king song app. It’s great I bought the full version!

I can’t say about all brands but for InMotion, this app is way better. DarknessBot is simple and get the job done. I recommend to not give access to everything (gps/health) so it doesn’t drain smartphone battery.

App is clean and connects fast. Useful to see battery percentage and range left.

This is the best app if you own a electric unicycle on iPhone. It is full features and the developers are super responsive in adding new features, suggestions, or fixing bugs.

It works good in sync to my Gotways the only issue I find annoying is when your riding it shows your batterie life at 0% but other than that great app! ( wish DarknessBot looked nicer and more modern though )

The first thing was the Segway that got me hooked. It has an app that’s not half as good and the model I have has lights that this app can change, while theirs is terrible and can’t.

Works great with the MiniPro, but was disappointed to find out it didn't initially work with my newest Ninebot MiniPLUS. However, the developer has now added support for it, too. Hoping for support for the Ninebot MAX scooter, too!

It is really good app, it works with my m365 good. But, i have to uninstall it becouse when i lock it in DarknessBot , and lose connection, when it connect again i cant unlock it. I have to install mi home app to unlock it. Please fix this bug! Thanks

This is my second ewheel. The king song 18xl has been so much fun. Far better than my old Segway nine bot one . I’m 46 yrs young and enjoying life

While it works great with my Nikola. It seems to trigger a bug on my Inmotion V11 occasionally the wheel will boot up thinking the speed limit is 4 mph.

The Apple Watch Companion App is brilliant, I set that to my main face when riding.

An actual video on how to work DarknessBot could have helped. I also can’t get my wheel to stop tilt back after 15 mph with DarknessBot that resets after every use
