Within 2 mins I had 2 ads and then a Chinese message popped up asking for something with a yes or no that I had to select but I don’t read Chinese so seem sketchy also had a crying face on the no option with made it more sketchy. It’s could have said ‘hit no if you give us permission to steal all your personal info’ or something. Why ask a American everything in English then slide a Chinese question in like that? My previous app of this type was iPhone only, thus less than ideal on my iPad. So I was delighted to find that this one would be full screen on the tablet. The number of positive reviews was also impressive.

Unfortunately, my experience did not match theirs. Sometimes GStreet finds an addre... Show more ss on the map but never shows me a Street View of it, no matter how long I press on the map. Other times, it can't even display the map of a selected location, even in a major city. I tried resetting my iPad, which sometimes helps with new apps, but it made no difference.

The controls are sometimes hard to see, depending on what's underneath them. Also, I don't understand the point of the “Home” arrow, which returns the map to my current location BUT IN ANOTHER APP (Apple's own Maps app). Shouldn’t it do that right here?

If the Developer has suggestions to make GStreet function properly, I’d be happy to hear them and adjust my rating and review accordingly.

I use to love GStreet but now every time I go to it all I get is ads. I mean all the time. I can’t even put the entire address in and I get an ad. I have to believe that the five star reviews are fake. As soon as I opened it, I had two ads pop up, without even accessing the actual app first. When I can see what I want, it's very nice and I enjoy it. But when I am trying to go to an area near my targeted area where I don't know an address, or just want to look around, the curser jumps and I need to start again. I find this frustrating. A great app except that the main screen is far too sensitive in zooming. Just the slightest touch will take you from street level to satellite altitude. Google Street View is a wonderful creation, providing me with the means to be in the "drivers seat" and to actually see where I am going. Imagine if there was universal access to the Internet while on the road, I will never need those expensive GPS Systems. Please Google..come up with an inexpensi... It’s great even faster that just a couple years ago. When I first used this I thought I was Superman flying anywhere in the world and look at any street in the world. Replace the maps.?

If GStreet can allow for separate folders to be created in the favorites so that all favorite shortcuts can be conveniently arranged in the folders, I will give it five stars. Currently it's a very good app already but can be better.

I love GStreet not only is it a way for you to get a visual view of where you want to go but it is also something really good to occupy yourself with. GStreet has never made me bored and I have spent multiple hours just looking at cool places I have never seen before. Also this could be used as a... It’s great for old invalid like me to be able to visit world places like this. It is a great app and would have been ‘magic’ in my early travels. I’m sure it is invaluable to those who travel this day in time. Thanks for GStreet!!!

You can give an estimate of location you would like to see and then you can search the area that you are looking for

I think streetviewmap is really fun to look at places and other stuff especially for kids,kids can look everywhere and maybe if the are homeschooled the can learn all the country’s and more things like that

On a Friday morning I downloaded GStreet and I loved it but now it won’t even load my real street anymore like this is soooo anonymous I don’t know how I can do this but it’s not really that bad but it’s really fun once

And does an excellent job of it too. About as easy to use as on a laptop - better than anything Google has natively for iOS. Thanks to the developer!!! I rarely need Google StreetView on my phone but when I do GStreet is a game changer by making it possible, and easy to use.

closed GStreet now its an ad every time i touch the screen. maybe upon first launch no ads? ill try reinstalling every time i use to get around your crap. shame on you

I recently was filing out an application in which I had to record the places I had lived. I knew where the places were but didn’t know the addresses. Googles Street helped find the house in different states and their addresses. More people should be using this. It’s an excellent tool.

Good app, but on my iPad Mini it won’t rotate to horizontal view. I switch to any other app and that one will rotate immediately, but I can’t get this one to do it. “Update” said it was compatible with all the new iPads. App is non stop ads,difficult to navigate,previous google maps easy to use.I might have to delete GStreet.I don’t care for restaurants and coffee shops in my maps covering half the page when I’m trying to find streets.

This new street view is not an improvement. I need the whole screen to see the street. I miss it being in Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin when I search for real estate. The top screen is clumsy at best and again doesn't show much. And,....the new street view can't seem to be viewed in landscape mode.... Show more Yuck! Please give us back the older version.

Thanks to this application and the creator/s I can street view where I was or where I'm going to stop but the problem is they need to add some present photos some of these are old, please read my review

I use street view when planning a trip to an unfamiliar area. Street view allows me to see the area before I start my trip, this lessens my drive time.

I feel like a pilot landing at a familiar airport as I find my way in unfamiliar cities and can immediately recognize landmarks after I have checked out the street view. Very very helpful app.

Lots of fun you can visit the past and see where you came from and where you have been, with a little imagination you can see yourself there.

I like to see store and surroundings to places I am going. GStreet makes it so easy. Takes not long to get used to it and ways to navigate . A gotta have app is only for exploring.

This is the perfect app to plan your vacation. You can view the area and plan each day in a city or country you have never been to before!
