East Idaho News is extremely biased. They are starting to become like “main stream media”, in that they feel entitled to tell their readers what to think and what the facts are instead of reporting all sides of political issues in a fair neutral way. East Idaho News only cites sources that support the main stream narrative and either ignores all other viewpoints completely or reports on it by blatantly stating that it is false, inaccurate and so forth. The article writers at East Idaho News are not experts in topics they write on. Particularly when reporting on Covid-19, and mask mandates, there is plenty of scientific studies refuting current main stream media narratives, yet East Idaho News reports on Covid and Masks as if they are the authority on all truth and any other perspectives are false. They support this narrative by only interviewing doctors and individuals that support their narrative. The fact is, we are still learning about this virus, the effectiveness of masks and the truth of all of it remains to be seen. Stop telling your readers what to think. Give readers multiple viewpoints in a neutral unbiased way and let the reader decide.

I installed this app to stay up-to-date on local news. As time went on the news articles pushed to my phone became increasingly clickbait-y. Having articles state "local police hunt for whatever" instead of "Pocatello police hunt for whatever" serve only to get people into the app and not to inform. This is especially worrisome when the notification potentially impacts me greatly. To be able to tell at a glance that a wildfire rages in my county vs if a wildfire rages in a local county is of huge importance. One informs me right away that my family is in danger. And whenever I was in the app, any tiny thing would cause it to reload. Pop ups, checking notifications, etc all would trigger the app to frustratingly reload.

I am so frustrated once again trying to watch a news conference, and this app kicks me out every single time I am using it. I use it to read an article that popped up in my notification, and it kicks me out about 30 seconds in. I get in it again, and same thing! Please fix it!!
