UPDATE: I thought the previous update that removed the “choose your reward” feature was bad, but BitMango has sunk to a new low by converting hints into coins. The good news? The “choose your reward” system is back with 10, 15, or 20 coin prizes. The bad news? Each hint costs 25 coins. In other words, BitMango has made it even more difficult to earn hints (for free, that is) as your maximum reward is less than one full hint. But relax, they’ve deceitfully done this under the guise of giving you more rewards and more options. Absolutely shady, soulless, greedy move, BitMango. Thanks for destroying my faith in humanity.

Cheap move with the latest update, BitMango. Removing the “choose your reward” feature from the Daily Puzzles so it’s harder to earn hints is a low blow. But I guess when you’re a greedy, money grubbing company like yourselves, it makes sense to make your games harder, less enjoyable, and less rewarding for your players solely for the aim of squeezing them for even more money. Evidently your new business model is “Dedicated players: who needs them?”

Look, I’m going to complain about the ad rolls. These games are so obnoxious when it comes to bombarding you with ads. I am not ignorant when it comes to the money making process, but give me a break. I’d like to be able to pause mid game to read a text without having to sit through a 30 second ad the moment I jump back into the game. Furthermore, how scummy can you be when it comes to the “gifts”. Exclusively valued at 5, 10, or 15 coins. And yet no matter which gift you select, it will NEVER be 10 or 15 coins. I have literally selected ONLY the middle box for every daily game and every landmark game for the last year since downloading BlockHexaPuzzle and low and behold - it’s a 5 coin box. Let me be clear, I don’t spend money on app games. I simply don’t. My patience is far greater than the disillusionment folks play with themselves when it comes to “defeat” at the hands of a computer program. It would be nice if the algorithm wasn’t simply “the player never wins big”. I typically enjoy a simple time-to-kill phone game but have recently been bludgeoned to death by my lack of desire to watch rolling ads and supporting mindless gaming (even problem solving games like these). Ultimately, I know I’m just venting to an empty room.

*I’m adding on to my initial review because I gave this game another chance but it is just awful. I’ve had and played this game for years but now it’s rigged so you cannot win anything except 5 points. Rarely will it give out 10 and only once has it given 15 measly points. When you choose a prize button it hesitates for a second then up pops your ridiculous 5 points because in that moment of hesitation, the prizes are moved around so 5 is all you can win most of the time while they take 25 points if you use the help option. The creators of this game have ruined it and I WILL NOT BE PLAYING IT ANYMORE!! Too bad to because it was a fun game for a long time!!
I used to love this game and played it every day. After your last update things were ok but then surprisingly you changed it again lowering the points amounts a player can win in the daily challenge. It also seems as if the 3 choice buttons for prize points is not as random as you would have us believe. It is almost impossible to win the highest amount of points-15-which coincidentally was the lower amount in the original game. I doubt I’ll play anymore. Very disappointing.

I am changing my rating simply because I see others getting responses and their hint/coin conversion errors corrected and my review has been ignored. Poor communication isn’t a good way to improve your product. Also, I hadn’t played in a few weeks. Last time I played I had close to 400 coins. I played today and had zero coins. What happened to my coins???? I really use to love this game but since the last couple of upgrades and the changing to coins it’s been more frustrating than fun. Most of the time I
Get only 5 coins as a reward. I play and finish a level 100% and all I get is 5 coins!?! Doesn’t seem worth it. Deleted app.

I love this game! It really helps me relax after a long day. One issue i have is the ads. They pop up after nearly every level. It gets quite annoying. My other issue is the new coin system. When it updated I had over 20 hints available and it gave me only 100 coins. I liked the old way of earning hints. Wish you guys would change it back.

THE GOOD: I have had this game since 2017. It’s been great. I even payed for the AD-FREE version of it. Easily worth that. For the 3 years of good play, I have no regrets in paying to remove ads.

THE BAD: I lowered my rating to 2 stars due to the new coins economy that replaced the hints. In the recent past, the daily bonus puzzles offered 1 hint for completion. Now, one “hint” costs 25 coins - and the daily bonus puzzles offer a chance to win 5, 10, or 15 coins; which are less than one hint. So I get less reward for doing the same work. In addition, the marker that displays the amount of coins you have constantly has a speech bubble saying “HEY” that can cover part of the puzzle. It’s advertising OVER the puzzle for you to purchase coins that you may not need (my hints converted to 7000+ coins, so I don’t need more coins). This, unfortunately, disrupts the game play. It was chill and tranquil, but now it is interruptive to see it pop up. If this is. To fixed, I would have to recommend finding another easy to view and play puzzle game.

Decent game overall, but the new coin economy has lessened the value of your work and the intrusive attention drawing gimmick to get you to buy coins ruins the games tranquility.

I don’t have a lot of time to play so I mostly focus on the daily challenge puzzles. I always had a personal challenge to get as close to 15 awarded hints as possible. It was addictive.

Moving to the coins model seems to be driven by in-app purchase revenue, which I get. I don’t like the offers to purchase items, but especially have noticed how this née model affects the daily challenge. The speed challenge puzzle used to give you a hint for each puzzle you completed within the allotted time (easy, normal and hard). Now, if you complete all three you get the same treasure chests to choose from, and I have yet to get 15 coins from any chest, whether from the speed challenge or any other puzzle.

It’s not about the coins. I have more banked than I could ever use on the regular puzzles. It’s just that what used to be a daily guilty pleasure of mine has turned into an annoyance. I’ll likely delete BlockHexaPuzzle .

Progressively over the last 3-4 weeks the number of ads has increased to the point that it’s not fun to play. A 15 second puzzle is followed by a 30 second ad that needs to be clicked multiple times to close or it stays forever.

Rewards for completing daily puzzles have also gotten progressively worse. At first you would get a free hint, but then they converted to coins, where 25 coins buys a hint. However when they converted they took away your hints and replaced them with coins at a 20 coin per hint rate, so basically stole 20% of the hints you had earned. Then they changed to a chance to win 10, 15, or 20 coins. So assuming they are are equally likely, but I doubt it, you only get on average 60% of what you did for a full hint. Finally today I noticed that the chance to win changed to 5, 10, or 15 so on average your only getting 40% of what you could before.

If it was this bad when I started I would have deleted in a day. I’ve played for about 3 weeks but now I’m too annoyed to play anymore.

The reason it is titled rip you off is because when you do the daily challenge you could get 1-3 hints and since you changed it to coins you can’t even get one hint, because 25 coins = 1 hint but on the daily challenge you can only get 5-15 coins!!!😡😡 and I had sooooooo many hints but when you changed it to coins I had like 20 less that is a lot of hints. The main reason I play it is because it doesnt take internet which is nice when we go on long drives. So pretty much if you do all of the daily challenges for a week the max you can get of hints are 21 before the update you could get 105 hints!!!!! That is a BIG DIFFERENCE please change it back cause I know this makes a lot of other people mad 😡! Also I have an idea 💡 to make your game more popular, if y made a multiplayer version. Like if two people could compete on one device like who can finish the puzzle first. And you could add a online version where random people can compete together, plz answer and thank you for reading this all.

Before I talk about why I rated this 3 stars I’d like to say that before I have rated this 4 stars with a kind review and wanted to put it to 5 but something happened that made me change that. Thank you a please read and give a reply if you can. If not that’s ok too 😂Ok so I went on the game witch i like to play a little each day and saw the new update and i thought it was actually pretty cool. But then I realized that I’m now at 2220 coins and I was at 118 hints. Every hint is 25 coins and 25 divided by 2220 is 88.5 witch isn’t what I was at and isn’t fair. Then I did the daily challenge trying not to care about the first thing. Then I saw that you guys changed the present we get back to a choice of three boxes witch i like because i liked how I could get bigger things then just on hint. But then I saw that the biggest amount of coins I could get is 20 WITCH DOESNT EVEN EQUAL TO ONE HINT SINCE ONE IS 25 COINS. I also saw that even the time attack was a choice one and these things made me angry. I feel like this coin thing should be changed back to normal or keep them but make everything fair again. Thank you ☺️

I love the game and I really enjoy playing— I would give the game, itself, about a 4 or 5 star rating—BUT what do I do about these awful ads that SUDDENLY have been popping up??!!! After each level I get an ad, and that’s not the problem. The problem is that, starting a couple of weeks ago, the ads which started popping up are for an 18+ Adults-Only game called Call Me Legend! I do not appreciate this! I thought perhaps it was a one time—2 times at most—thing, but NO!! This ad still keeps popping up and I am sick of it! The game ads should be equivalent to the age minimum on the game you are playing. If I was playing an 18+ Adult Sex game, then okay, put those ads in that game, BUT I AM NOT playing an Adult Sex role playing game and I don’t appreciate or want these other ads to just pop up!! HOW DO I TURN THEM OFF??? Please get rid of these ads within a game that I’m sure kids play! (My young nieces and nephews do!!). SO DISAPPOINTED!

I’ve played this game for a long time, as I really enjoy solving puzzles. However, the recent updates altered the fun-factor. After solving a daily challenge puzzle, I used to earn between 1-3 hints. That was great because on the timed challenges, sometimes I’d need a hint. Then an update came along so that you earned 10-20 coins (depending on what was behind the box you choose) instead of hints, and hints cost 25 coins. I was ok with that. Now with the latest update, you earn between 5-15 coins with every daily challenge puzzle solved, but never does the chosen box have more than 5 coins. I just can’t believe I’m so unlucky that I choose the 5 coin box 5 times every day. A person can use real $$ to buy more coins, which is obviously what they’re trying to get the player to do. Gets frustrating. Once I’ve (eventually) depleted my coins, I’ll just delete BlockHexaPuzzle .

I think it’s a great game! But it should get a 4 star rate because there’s so many adds. But it still is a good game! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊There’s just so many adds. But sometimes it won’t put an add. So I think that it should get 4 stars for a rate! And that’s not that bad. But it’s not as good that it would get 5 stars! So I still think that it’s a good game, it just has so many adds but so many that it would get less than 4 stars! So 4 stars is still really good, so I think you should get BlockHexaPuzzle but you might not want to because it’s a little hard and has a lot of adds! And also this game has great music!

It has the most annoying in-game I've ever experienced. I've actually made a list of apps I'll never download because I got this game. The actually game is very enjoyable if you're puzzle-oriented, and the hints are helpful and easy to receive. The downside? The stupid ads! They play loud annoying sounds even when the sound of the game itself is turned off. I've considered deleting BlockHexaPuzzle just because of this one downside: it's just THAT annoying.
Also ToonBlast if you're reading this, I'll never download your game as your ads are the most annoying. I would've written directly to you but I have to have downloaded your app to write about it. The colors are affronting, the beaver looks weird, why is it either a white person's hand or Mickey Mouse's hand?, and the sounds make me want to break my phone just to make the noise stop. Also, you're not CandyCrush and you never will be.

but there is just one problem. I know it’s weird to only address one problem in a review but I really only have just one. I thought that it was going to be a little more challenging at the beginning but it was really slow with only 4-5 blocks in a puzzle. When I tried one of the Master levels, I thought that was my kind of level. Another reason it is really slow is that there are 80 levels in one chapter. I know puzzle games are supposed to be long but in my case, since the game is so slow I really want to get to the end towards the harder levels. I never like to leave things unbeaten in games either. Sorry if I was a little hard to understand, I am 10 years old.

I know this game is boring or challenging but I prefer this game because I have beaten this game this game was the best game I also like how they made multiple games just like this one so why are y’all complaining that there are a lot of ads but if you just turn down your devices volume to 0 you can’t hear it so yea just do that. Also to the non-developers please shut up about all your nonsense I got this I am a v.i.p to every game just not this one

To developers: I love your game please update it soon I would like to see a few secrets where when you tap them secret levels appear and they are like the hardest and they are supper huge and some are like references to other games especially Nintendo games like Mario or the legend of Zelda or even we’ll I don’t know any more Nintendo games but y’all are amazing keep up the great work and see y’all whenever there are more worse complaints! This is my second review. The only reason I’m writing another one is because the amount of people that are saying that there are too many adds. The adds are not even a problem for me. I just don’t understand why everyone says an add appears constantly. For me there are barely any adds. Also, I don’t even notice the adds if there is one. I understand that the developer wants to make money from the adds. I completely get it, I would want to make money if I had a great game like this too. If the developer is reading this, great job making the best app ever!👍🏻

I am adding to this review a while after, so this is kind of my third review. I’m going to keep it short this time. I hate that there are so many bad reviews 😡. Why cant people appreciate BlockHexaPuzzle like I do. Seriously people!

Honestly, I LOVE THIS GAME. But... there’s a problem. This morning, I re downloaded the game because I had accidentally deleted it. I got on it and I was devastated I lost my progress. Could the developers maybe make a fix to that so you can download your progress if BlockHexaPuzzle got deleted? Also, I was playing this morning and I completed a level. I went to click the next button and on the screen popped up a transparent black screen with the words, in tiny letters, said “Block! Hexa” and I tried to click the “next” button to go onto the next level and the button clicked it just didn’t do anything. Please, please, please, pleaseeeee fix this!! Every time it pops up I have to get out of the game so it will go away. Thanks!!

Love this game! Perfect for when you have nothing to do while you wait for the doctor or after a big test to help calm down. It is seemingly not frustrating like many other games of this category, so you won’t be slamming your device down in anger. The layout is simple and clean making it easy for people unfamiliar with technology to use. The pieces are large and can be placed with ease, proving good for people who have trouble messing with small buttons on their phone. It stimulates your mind without giving you a horrible headache. Ads are hardly prevalent, with only a little ad bar at the bottom and very few pop ups. One of the best features are the hints that are obtained with no problem. Sometimes you’ll even find yourself with a surplus of hints! This is very nice, as many games these days make it almost impossible or time consuming to get a little help. Recommend Block! Hexa to anyone who wants to spend time while keeping their brain fit.

I actually love the game and I started low and worked my way up. I find it very enjoyable and a good mix between casual play and a genuine challenge. Not to mention, there are very reasonable options if you just really can’t figure out a puzzle and need a hint or 2. I have tried to not use my hints as an extra challenge and have only needed to use a few. I have collected almost 140 hints between the first level all the way to the 7th. There is also the option of occasionally, watching an ad to get a free hint that pops up on the bottom corner. I had a slight issue with the game completely freezing almost every time an ad popped up during the first week or so of playing the game. It was frustrating but when the rotation of ads changed, the freezing stopped too. So, I’m hoping it wasn’t the game but some freak glitch that is over and done with now. Overall, I would recommend the game. It’s exactly like I thought it would be when I decided to download it.
