I tried to use 1tapreceipts, but it requires you to register your “profession” in order to get started. My profession (Senior Living, or Retirement Community) isn’t in the list. Neither is Healthcare Professional, Non-Profit, or any other profession close to what I do. Couldn’t figure out how to get past this so I finally gave up... without even getting to try it.

I like 1tapreceipts. Just be aware that as of this writing there is no way to obtain individual images of all your receipts. They do have a way to export a PDF of your all receipts but they combine them all into one PDF. This is no good if say you no longer wish to use 1tap and transfer your receipts to another service. You'd have to scan them all again.

1tapreceipts is basic and is exactly what I need to track receipts. Processing is slow and not very intuitive to sort in categories. Also, very limited choices of currency to choose from.

1tapreceipts is very good...but not quite there yet.
It’s better than Shoebox. Shoebox does have mileage tracking which is a plus.
1tapreceipts needs to have a user defined supplier field. Whoever enters the suppliers interprets the names differently each time from receipts.
This forces the user to make corrections. Thus a drop down pre populated supplier list would make it easier to make corrections. Also, small businesses that resell goods need an inventory category. This is not a business expense on schedule C tax form. The manual receipt entry is also week. It should allow multiple lines and multiple pics.
They need to get rid of the annoying tips that show up even on the paid version.

App is great and keeps me organized during tax season. However, the latest update screwed with the display colors - On each screen, there’s either dark text against a dark background or white text on a white background (unreadable).
I can’t find a way to adjust these settings - Please fix this bug ASAP

I love the look of 1tapreceipts. Everything seems to work really well and it’s a great way to track my freelance work. However, I have one complaint that makes me want to pull my hair out. I wish I could make my own categories for expenses. I can’t figure out how to do this, and if you can’t do it, then that’s a major oversight. Otherwise, it’s great.

Works great. Opens right up to the camera. Easily links to TurboTax. Organized and simple to use.

Does a good job at gathering data and organizing. Fuel tracking would be nice to have a mileage area for each receipt dealing with auto. Great app so far. Impressed!

1tapreceipts would be near perfect if you could auto crop the receipt like most scanner apps. Can that feature be added? Is it coming in a future update???

This is the best app I’ve used to track all of my receipts and expenses. I love that I can put personal tags and choose how much is a personal expense or a business expense.

I love 1Tap! This program lets me store all my receipts in 1tapreceipts so I don't have to save them and clutter my purse with them. I love that there are pre populated categories fit to my business.

You can create and sort tags for budgeting and sort by expense for tax purposes. Everything in one spot. No more boxes of receipts. Super easy and convenient. I recommend to everyone I talk to about finances.

I struggle with keeping receipts and hate to add everything up at the end of the year. I absolutely love being able to take a picture, categorize it, and throw out.

I value 1tapreceipts it has saved me I’m doing my taxes and makes it so much easier than doing it the old way thank you so much

Saves time with a quick and intuitive receipt analysis process. Very precise. If we could only classify the categories in bulk 1tapreceipts would be perfect.
