BlazeTV: Pro-America Reviews

OK, I’ve had a couple weeks to try out the Blaze TV app. Still has various areas that are inaccessible to me as a blind user.
“Menu“; When I open this, the first couple items are just labeled‘ button‘. The rest of it appears to be my account related. There doesn’t appear to be anything specifically labeled for closing the menu.
“Search field“; although the search field is accessible, I have yet to have it yield any results. Once I tap “search“, The only things showing on the page there after our, “back“, “search field“, “clear search“, “shows“, and “specials“. Now, back to the main page. When I tap on “shows“, and“Specials“, again, totally inaccessible. I can go in and back out, but nothing else. The only area that yields any other result(Not including the live event buttons), is the “new“ button. In here, I find the list of current and upcoming programs. When I tap on one of these, most of the time it opens a video that automatically switches to“Profile view“. All good so far. However, there are no controls whatsoever. No pause, skip ahead, rewind etc. and, if I get a phone call or need to interrupt it in anyway, the video does not restart and I have no way of restarting it, but to close the entire app and reopen it. When I do, I need to start the video from the beginning.
Sorry for the long detailed review but, I really didn’t have any other place to submit my feedback, And experience.

Unmatched content! Excellent thought provoking shows!! Absolutely faithful and true conservative thinkers seeking to call a country back to the constitution!! But ...For the love of all who will listen!!! Please allow background streaming!
I would listen to several shows beyond my always Steve Deace, Nate Madden, Jon Miller, Michele Malkin, etc. I cannot stress enough how great the content available here is though! Our country needs this everyday and everywhere! Dont let this be a stumbling block to maintaining subscriptions. My job allows online listening for several hours a day but my unlimited data plan goes into slow mo data because of the overload of content by six days into the month! I would relish taking in more Levin , Kibbe, Ally , etc. but hereas a farmer in rural flyover country, wifi is not an option! We are conservatives and would prefer not to spend our future on launching our own satellite service provider to keep up with the content when background streaming would fix it! Thanks though again for the strong voice of liberty resounding on this platform. May God Bless your endeavor to keep before the people what it is that binds us together as a republic - that which our founders envisioned! Liberty and Justice for all

The shows are awesome (as is proudly sip from my Crowder mug), but BlazeTV leaves a bit to be desired. The “Continue Watching” feature is never anywhere even close to where I left off, and sometimes isn’t even the same episode. (If the developer is reading this, I’m watching on an iPhone 8 plus running iOS 11.4, and I’d love to give BlazeTV another star or two)

Update 9/5/18:
As stated before (and a noted response from many reviewers) the content of CRTV is unmatched, and this review is in no way intended to say anything negative about the shows. That said, BlazeTV is painful. There is no option for background streaming, even though were told that there would be an update to fix that in May. The “Continue Watching” feature that is intended to allow you to pick up where you left off is, at a minimum, just as bad after this last update than it was prior to it. I would say it’s actually a little worse. The only time it actually capture a point where I left of is when an old video starts to play after I’ve finished watching a recent one, leaving a string of old videos that I’ve already seen in my “continue watching” list. This is the case even though the only thing the update lists as having been fixed. Please tell us that you are replacing BlazeTV, or at least are giving it a major overhaul soon.

I cannot begin to explain how happy I was to find The Blaze and this app. I’m glad that there are conservative voices that are producing as much content as is coming out of BlazeTV. I really enjoy having a wide variety of different shows to choose from on a day to day basis. I came for LWC, but I have discovered a number of different personalities that I like listening to each day. I especially like the news and why it matters. The truth matters to me, a great deal. I’m finding that the conservative side of the aisle is basically the only place you will find some semblance of what the truth is. Do yourself a favor and throw away the mainstream media and blaze up!

P.S.- There are a few things that I wish would be updated with the actual function of BlazeTV (much the same as others have suggested) like being able to listen to audio only(as dailywire does)/adding in 15 and 30 second skip ahead functions/ just all around fluidity of the entire app. Also, it would be nice to be able to access articles that the blaze puts out through BlazeTV as well! Keep up the good work!

My husband and I faithfully watch Louder with Crowder and have also enjoyed some episodes here and there of the other shows available on Blaze (like Rubin report). We were hesitant to sign up last year fearing we wouldn’t use it enough to warrant it but we have not stopped loving it and it is worth every single penny! So refreshing to hear conversations unbending to the will of the media (and government pulling their strings). It’s important conservatives and free thinkers keep platforms like this going strong to combat the bombardment of propaganda coming at us all day every day!

I know these things have been mentioned by other reviewers- but I would also add that the comment feature on mobile can be frustrating as they move too quickly to read unless very short. We also learned quickly that the resume feature is not to be trusted 😂 but it’s ok we just try to remember how far in we are if we have to come back to it later. Also I agree with comments about a jump forward 15s option, it would be helpful.

Glenn Beck and the shows currently on tap can simply be described as the best news content out there. If there are any 1-Star reviews you can bet it has been reviewed as such by coastal elites, the left that love Marxism, Fascists like the current administration, and those who are ashamed to have ever said boo about the Trump administration. I used to think Beck was part of the problem, but he’s one of the only anti-Trump conservatives (because you can’t be one) who changed course and realized President Trump was exactly what the nation needed.
That being said, his show, and the programming isn’t about our Greatest President 100% of the time. Without his coverage of the “pandemic” my family and I would have been slaves to network coverage like Fox, MSLSD, and that other propagandist fake news org known as Brian Stelter University, or CNN. When I need the most current advice and truthful information, I turn on Blaze TV. The reason I know it’s truthful? The left hates it, so that is enough for me. Thank you, Blaze TV. The anti-social justice network.

I rarely write reviews but I felt this one is warranted.
Are you tired of biased, untrustworthy, and down right lie spewing news, then go no further, this app is what you are looking for. I joined this app a little over a year ago and I absolutely love it. I know that the news I get through the numerous diverse channels they offer will be truthful and non bias and is a good platform for either side of the spectrum. I originally joined it to watch Steven Crowder (Louder With Crowder) as I love his content. He brings great insight and truthful commentary on current happenings with a comedic flare. I have since been watching other shows as well on this app such as Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Dave Rubin, and Candace Owens to name a few. The content is relevant and it will blow your mind as to what the media is not telling you, even Fox. Also, customer service is awesome and actually goes out of their way to make sure you are getting all you can out of this app. Please do yourself a favor and download the this app App and join the family at this app, you won’t regret it!

I really only subscribed for Louder With Crowder which is the only show I watch on here. I love his take on things and his humor behind it! I love someone that isn’t afraid to make offensive jokes but keeping it in good taste (usually lol). I’m more of an independent than I am a full on conservative and don’t completely agree with the Blaze’s or Crowders views even. But not at any point has the content made me feel as if I don’t belong here or that I HAVE to believe in what they want me to believe. They use a lot of great info and resources. All of which are cited and legit. And usually liberal as well so people can’t say they are only using one bias for their info. I Reccomend a mug club subscription forsure!

Also my mug arrived broken and a replacement was shipped within 48 hours by their awesome customer support. I have no complaints and it’s been totally worth the price so far! If you’re on the edge I say take it! There are lots of other shows too to check out! I just don’t have the time to watch them all!

I have an annual membership but almost never use the Blaze App because it’s video only. Super inconvenient when I want to listen to Blaze content while working, working out, etc.
The daily wire app allows you to choose if you want the audio or video version which is great! Please add that feature back! I often listen to Blaze shows through the Apple podcast app instead since it can be audio only and I can skip forward and backwards in 15 and 30 second intervals.
In addition to the audio/video separation, adding the ability to download episodes to my device would also be nice. Sometimes I have bad cell service and many people have limited data but still want to listen without WiFi or cell coverage, allowing your paying users to download episodes for a road trip or out and about would be a great option as well.
These are all common features on media apps, many of them from smaller organizations than the Blaze, please add them! It would bring me back to your app instead of forcing me to use third party options! Thanks!

Let me start by saying that I am writing this because this is a good start to having a home for some great conservative content, but I really feel like BlazeTV is lacking basic features that should be introduced. In order to be concise, BlazeTV needs better scrubbing functionality, a button to skip ahead 15 seconds, and most importantly, BlazeTV should remember your spot in your video so you can return to the point at which you had previously left off. On longer videos, it is incredibly difficult to move forward efficiently because scrubbing is very imprecise. This makes the ability to skip 15 seconds ahead just as important as going back 15 seconds. And since BlazeTV doesn’t hold your place, if you close and reopen BlazeTV , you have to use the poor scrubbing function to manually find your spot again. I appreciate BlazeTV, I use it daily, but I really hope it is improved upon. Thanks for your hard work toward giving conservatives a platform where they don’t lose access to the content they love.

Lots of things going wrong since that latest iOS release. Too much to list. Y’all need to do an audit. One MAJOR bug is that after a video has been running a bit, and then you rotate to landscape or portrait mode, the video stops. Rotating back does not fix it. Only option is to quit BlazeTV and restart. Still gave it 4 stars due to fantastic content, but BlazeTV has been buggy since the beginning. This may not be the right forum, but the Apple TV app is also missing major functionality. That one cannot forward or rewind in a show in inexcusable.

UPDATE: i’ve isolated what causes the rotation issue. Open BlazeTV and play one of the channels. While playing move BlazeTV to the background where you can still hear the sound but are in a different app. Now return to the blaze TV app and rotate the phone. It’ll stop playing and there’s nothing you can do to fix it until you force quit BlazeTV

Finally an honest and informational news site with sources and reputable personalities with integrity and intellectual insights and especially humor. If there is one thing that has suffered the most of late it’s comedy since there has always been an inseparable connection between comedy and truth and clearly we live in a time when truth is the first casualty. However, ultimately truth does come out and although it takes effort and those motivated to share it like the sunshine the ignorance or darkness is instantly cast away. Same goes for Christ-like love and unity versus hatred and fear after all we are literally all in the same proverbial boat heading towards the water falls—arguably 70% of the people don’t even know they’re in a boat. Thanks to this site we can help strengthen one another through unity, information and loving example. Thanks again for all you do cannot recommend this site to highly! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

UPDATE: I really love that I wrote the below review only a couple weeks ago at most and I’m watching today and see that *it would appear* they read my review and followed it to a T and I just have to say wow, I love you guys so much! Thankyou! Went from 4 stars to 5 stars.

“I don’t understand why the default feature is to only be able to scroll based on comments throughout a video rather being able to rewind or fast forward on the time bar like literally every other streaming platform allows. I hope that makes sense but in other words, I want to be able to rewind or fast forward by 10-15 seconds with a button press and I want to be able to quickly scroll along the time bar. Currently you can only move around to various moments in the stream where other viewers had made comments and that’s probably the dumbest feature anyone has ever come up with when it’s the only option.”

I only bought a subscription to BlazeTV to listen to louder with crowder, but I really regret my purchase. BlazeTV is an mess. When I first got BlazeTV before it’s recent overhaul, they used to save your place while watch and tell you which episodes you had watched, not anymore. Its a tossup if BlazeTV saves your place but it definitely doesn’t tell you what episodes you’ve watched. It doesn’t let you download episodes for offline viewing(as far as I know) like other paid apps. I’d even take audio downloads. I was going to watch the election night livestream, but no. looks like BlazeTV logged me out and now I got to go through the whole password reset process. now the Latest gem is: I was watching a crowder episode and an alert shows up for a livestream for another show, without clicking on it BlazeTV takes me to that livestream. When I go back to the crowder episode I was watching, BlazeTV keeps crashing while it loads the episode making it unwatchable. Buy a subscription to BlazeTV only if you can’t get episodes to your shows elsewhere.

Membership is a bargain for students like myself. Loads of content with daily updates. I knew exactly why I signed up, but didn’t know how much use I would get out of BlazeTV beyond the content I wanted to see. Happy to report I’ve discovered a ton of material I would have overlooked otherwise. CRTV is awesome overall, and their customer service is incredible as well ;)

The only criticism i have is that BlazeTV UI could use some work. More often than not it doesn’t remember where you left off on videos, which becomes a problem when you’re knee deep in an hour long video. There have also been countless accidental jumps from video to video due to screen touches, which then turn getting back to your video into more work than it should be. Would be great for example to get a prompt when clicking out asking if I really want to leave the video.

Minor critiques aside, this is one of my most used apps and is worth every penny.

Nothing wrong with BlazeTV. It works and it does what it's supposed to. However, I'd really like to see some other options when it comes to where you can cast the program you're watching. In other words, I'd love to be able to cast what I'm watching to my Xbox one or my TV (Samsung), especially at night when I'm on my phone but I also want to multitask while watching/listening. If there's already a way to do this and I'm just unaware, please let me know. My only other comment would be the layout once your click on a show. Currently, you have to scroll horizontally through episodes, but it would seem to make more sense to have the episodes ordered vertically as we have more usable screen space when holding a phone in portrait mode. You could also have it change depending on the screen orientation (vertical for portrait and horizontal for landscape) if space/layout allows. This might be more feasible with an iPad app.

EXCELLENT CONTENT!

I have complaints about BlazeTV itself though. The old app, when it was just The Blaze, you could “rewind” three hours during the live broadcast whereas with the new app you can only do thirty seconds. Where I live Glenn’s radio program comes on at 6:00 AM on BlazeTV so I could always rewind to the beginning of the program when I woke up at 7:00 AM. I can’t do that now, I have to wait until the program is put in the actual show page which isn’t until 4 or 5:00 in the afternoon or even the next day. The full show was always available to watch on the show page within BlazeTV after about an hour or two of the show ending but now I have to wait until the next sometimes which I don’t like at all. Bring back the three hour “rewind” during the live broadcast! And bring back the quick upload of shows after they air!

Every time I’m watching a livestream, and a notification for another livestream pops up, it automatically pulls me out of the video I’m watching and into the stream the notification was for. Then, the traffic to the site is so high, nothing in BlazeTV will load, so i can’t even get back to the stream I was originally watching. Every single time. I am always relegated to watching the second half of the stream hours later when traffic dies down and the stream finally gets uploaded to watch after the fact. Even disabling notifications in the iOS settings doesn’t prevent this from happening. The notifications still come, and completely destroy the experience.

Add to that, the fact picture-in-picture, background play, and watch history are features that have never been added to the new “upgraded” app. It’s starting to make me regret subscribing. I love the content, but accessing it has become an exercise in frustration, if not futility.

I love this app and all the shows and would never give it less than 5 stars because of that. However, for BlazeTV , I would suggest a few improvements:

1. It would great if we could easily see where we left off watching a show. Often I will listen on my phone and will pause the show for phone calls or conversations. Sometimes, BlazeTV restarts when I come back later to watch and it doesn’t pick up where I left off. I have to search for the place and that is frustrating. The “RESUME” button doesn’t do that…honestly, I don’t know what it’s picking up, but it is often many episodes before where I actually was.

2. Related to that, show what episodes have been watched.

3. When a show is over, play the NEXT day’s episode, not the previous day’s episode. I watch most episodes on demand, because of my schedule. So I want to start from the oldest episode and move forward in time…not backwards.

4. The ability to create a playlist would be AMAZING. The best thing about listing to the shows on podcast is the ability to create a list that auto-plays so I can not have to worry about what I am doing when the show ends—it just moves to the next in my list.

Despite all my suggestions, I still love BlazeTV and the ability to watch all my favorite shows on demand.

The only way this could be better is if Jordan Peterson had a show here! Glen beck has the best content. His commentary is spot on. Steven Crowder is so funny. Yet if you listen to what he says it’s way more than funny. He is up to date on everything. He knows all of the lefts lies and exposes them daily with humor. Mark Levin, what can you say about “The Great One”? He was able to tell the truth about Obamagate and Mike Flynn years ago! The man knows what he’s talking about. Having read Dave Rubins book and watching his content regularly makes me have all the respect in the world for this man. He talks nothing but common sense. Candace Owens has more intestinal fortitude than should be allowed by law! The things she has put up with from the left are amazing! She is definitely someone I look up to. When she talks she lays it out so plainly for all to see. Get BlazeTV!

Most annoying for me is no background play. Using the podcast symbol I am able to play audio only, however if I click the home button on my iPhone to minimize this app before putting the iPhone in my pocket or to open a second app I lose the audio immediately. I don’t believe it should work this way. I have taken to listening to some of the this app content using the Podcasts app on my phone just because it works better for me.

The this app app on my AppleTv also needs some work. The most annoying issue for me is BlazeTV seems to lose track of my account/subscription status. For example, I watch this app for say an hour then I turn the tv off. Later in the day I turn the tv on and click on the this app app only to get a message that the content is not available to me. Resetting the AppleTv always restores the service. None of my other subscription services behave this way.

I do enjoy the content at this app but the tools for viewing and listening seem to be a bit weak.

Your content is phenominal but BlazeTV is all but useless. Two things that should be fixed by nightfall tonight and you will have yourself a five star rating:

BACKGROUND AUDIO WORKING so that when I’m driving (which is when most people probably are listening to you) I can have my screen off or GPS up.

Second, REMEMBER WHERE I LEFT OFF! Jesus! When I’m listening to an hour plus show and can’t turn the screen off I’m prone to accidnetly tap one of the other videos displayed below and lose my spot. Talk about discouraging me from watching content. I dont have time to pull over my car, scrub to where I think it was playing and try to find my spot. Even worse is when a show runs longer than my drive and I want to pull the video back up later becasue now I dont even remember where I left off and have to basically rewatch the first 30 minutes.

Listen, I’m not asking for power user level feature sets, just the basics. I want CRTV to succeed, but once all of these annual mug club subscriptions come time to renew I can assure you there will be a huge subscriber loss because people become disinterested in something that is difficult to use thus making them see your product as useless and no longer worth paying for. Don’t let this happen as you guys are one of the few voices of reason in an otherwise psychotic media world. Thanks in advance!

I watch every new episode of Levin. He is a straight shooter and gets right to the point with what’s going on in our government. He’s a constitutionalist.
I share with people around me the facts he brings out. The truth and the wisdom he shares with us.

I would also like to say how privileged it is to live in the USA. To have the freedom to Worship our living God. God gave us this country and we should bless Him for it by living the righteous life. How can we as a people expect God to bless us if we do not obey Him. We have the freedom to do what is right and moral, not whatever we want to do. Freedom is responsibility to protect it and pay attention to what our leaders are doing. We the people take it for granted what we have, therefore we could lose our freedom. Freedom is fragile, So wake up America.
Our constitution requires our government to do two things 1) Protect us from the enemy and 2) Preserve our constitution as written.
I want the government to spend our money on our military more than anything else. We are in debt because of our spending in social aspects. The government spends so much time and money on social programs it distracts them from focusing on our protection and our constitution.
Mr. Levin, Thank you for serving us. your a benchmark for us to follow.

I signed up for a 1 year subscription + 7 day trial. I had an issue with billing, so I contacted CRTV by phone and email on Saturday afternoon. By early Sunday morning, I received a response from Dawn (who took resolved everything) and a voicemail returning my call from Billy. I've never written a review for an app based on a company's exceptional customer service but there's a first time for everything, I guess. As for BlazeTV , I had a few minor issues on IPad, none on Iphone. Like no background play, the skip back/forward buttons don't work every time. Other than that, BlazeTV functioned as expected, UI could benefit from overhaul as well.

I am a Blaze subscriber and obviously had to switch to this new app this week. The extra content is awesome, of course, but BlazeTV has been frustrating.

The biggest complaint is that I will be actively watching a show and it will automatically go back to an earlier point in the show for some reason; haven’t figured out the timing yet, maybe around every 30min or so—except if it’s a shorter show, then it just goes back to the beginning around halfway through the program. This is really frustrating as then you have to figure out where you were. I’m sure the Developers are already aware of and working to correct this bug, along with the others...

Same thing with pausing a show...after a while on pause it starts automatically playing; would be nice if this didn’t happen.

Only other thing a little bothersome at this point is that it would be nice if we were given the option to add a show to our Watchlist without first having to open the episode (where it proceeds to start auto-playing and then gets added to the Continue watching list) and then adding it to our Watchlist.

Otherwise great app and content. Thanks for listening and working on these issues; I usually don’t write reviews, but these are shows/content I watch religiously everyday more than anything, so it’s more on my radar. Btw, my device is an iPhone 7.

1.) I wish there was a sleep timer. I often fall asleep to crtv shows and if I leave BlazeTV running my phone will stay on all night.
2.) BlazeTV does a poor job of keeping track of where I left off on shows if I have to leave BlazeTV . All too often I will have to leave BlazeTV for a period of time just to come back and find that BlazeTV doesn’t think I’ve watched any of the show. It’s frustrating having to constantly look for where I last left off.
3.) BlazeTV doesn’t do a good job of letting you know what shows you’ve completed. Often shows that I have watched appear the same as unwatched shows, so sometimes I’ll accidentally watch the same content multiple times.
4.) Sometimes BlazeTV doesn’t think I’m a subscriber and will keep me from viewing premium content. It won’t recognize my subscription until I’ve logged out and back in, which is again frustrating.

Could be a great way to help counter those who continuously deceive the masses with lies, diss info and hit and miss truths. The constant war of who’s telling the truth and where to find it is discouraging enough. I seen a video that listed you as the source showing it. It felt good to see someone out there fighting this battle to. I got so excited I started looking into more content and found my way to BlazeTV . Then as usual what appears to seem to be for the good side hits the fork in the road to evil. That’s where it ends. Why? Honestly my subject title should answer this. Just in case it doesn’t I’ve added some more that will help. BlazeTV is free, but most of the content apparently costs to unlock it. I can add a list of reasons why this really hinders instead of helps. However I will not simply because the time I have already invested typing this review will most likely fall on blind eyes and deaf ears to BlazeTV reps who ask for reviews to begin with. Let’s see who’s right in the end.

Figure out another word for Conservative in the CRTV! Turns out that the one with the most integrity and has the biggest balls comes as an Asian woman that has integrity in journalism. As the majority of real CRTV viewers she knows that 2 things don’t go with Glen Beck, conservative and integrity. I’ve known for a while that Steven Crowder would and will do just about anything if he was given a spot on ABC,NBC,TBS,CBS, or any other 3 letter channel except for the only one that still holds a little bit of integrity in conservatism, FNC. The First Ammendment hard charger of CRTV Gavin McGinnis is the only one that isn’t welcome to the “high standards” of the Blaze? A man that stuck his face in Cheetos! WoW! This is a loss for Internet Next Generation TV Conservatives. The Direction that Cable TV is going? Apparently the internet tv is going to go the same way as to whomever can buy out the other guy and silence them is what has happened with this deal. The truth I guess is still going to be told by demonetized individuals on YouTub with 3rd Party contributions.

I had enjoyed a week free trial and watched all of Graham Allen Rant Nation and a few of other shows. Had to cancel due to financial issues. Then I received an email for a 90 day trial and was like WoW, first, because with my financial issues this allows me to get REAL NEWS, STORIES AND WHAT I WANT AND KNOW IT’S GOOD. The problem was, it wouldn’t allow me to get the 90 day, so I called Customer Service and was connected with Gail Buckley. She was very professional yet friendly and she asked what had occurred and we walked through it and within 15 minutes account was active and I’ve been watching and forgot to send in my review. Enjoy the trial but I’m sure, my wife Scarlett and I will be getting some type of membership. This is an awesome app and service is great. Thanks Joseph

You are unable to customize your home screen to make navigation to the content you regularly watch easier. I have to open the show list and scroll through 50 channels to get to the one show I watch each and every time I open BlazeTV . Additionally when you open up your watchlist or previously wat he’d list you are then trapped on this screen as there is no back button to take you back to the home menu. It feels like a 50/50 chance whether or not BlazeTV will track the fact that I have already wat he’d a video. When I switch between video versions and audio only versions of the content BlazeTV will lose my spot in the content. Their are more issues but I’m tired of typing. BlazeTV gets two stars simply because I like some of the content but BlazeTV itself is pretty terrible. Thanks for reading.

I love the content but already I’m struggling to be able to continue use of BlazeTV . I thought at first that it was just my own phone or account or something but after reading reviews everyone is struggling with not being able to come back to videos they’ve watched. I think that’s an issue that would be really helpful for users if you were to fix it

Also there seems to be an issue with the scrubber where if you’re watching horizontally on an iPhone and try to pull up the control center it will only drag the scrubber to a different point in the video.

Another personal recommendation would be to provide a better way to “like”/“favorite” videos and to be able to search through shows and episodes more easily. BlazeTV feels a little choppy and not necessarily well laid out.

Also a common request is to provide background playing which as someone who likes to listen in the car I would definitely agree that would be a great addition to BlazeTV .
