I was very excited when I found TunesGenieMovieTVDeals. I am someone who is always on the lookout for cheap on sale iTunes movies. I thought TunesGenieMovieTVDeals would have been perfect for me as it would have done all the work for me when it came to looking out for movie sales.

Well I was very wrong. I’ve been on the lookout for the Harry Potter collection to go on sale, so I added the Harry Potter movies to my wish list. Well last night I was browsing through the discounted movies on iTunes because I was bored and sure enough, there was the Harry Potter movie collection on sale for $50, originally $80. The TunesGenie app did NOT notify me of the discounted price and I almost missed the sale thanks to their false advertising. Don’t trust TunesGenieMovieTVDeals. If there’s a movie you want for sale, you’re better off keeping an eye out yourself.

Using CheapCharts now, much better app to watch iTunes sales with. Starting in July, only 10-15 movies (not Shows) show up at a time in iTunes Genie, but go to iTunes and dozens of reduced priced movies are there. TunesGenieMovieTVDeals is broken again, and is broken frequently .. not reliable

I was very excited to get TunesGenieMovieTVDeals to help me find bargains. Well I was asked to sign in after I downloaded TunesGenieMovieTVDeals. I thought great! It is going to add all of the items I already had on my wish list! Well guess what? It didn’t so what was the reason it asked me to type in my password? To save it? I am now very uncomfortable with this maybe being a phishing app to obtain personal information! Go ahead developers tell me otherwise because I am very upset.

TunesGenieMovieTVDeals keep closing when I tried to search for a movie

The premise of TunesGenieMovieTVDeals is great! However during my usage of TunesGenieMovieTVDeals, I encountered countless stability issues. Hoping to see this develop into something more usable.

So I came across TunesGenieMovieTVDeals and for the most part it’s pretty accurate! It said Terminator 2 was on sale for 4.99 and I was able to buy it at the price. What’s really bothering me is some things are not showing up when I type it in like collection/movie bundles. I’m unable to add to my wishlist a majority of the bundles (Matrix Trilogy, Planet of the Apes trilogy, Harry Potter 10 movie bundle). It did notify me of the Jurassic Park 5 film collection deal so it does work for some but not all. I think TunesGenieMovieTVDeals is pretty good it just needs some extra work.

I thought TunesGenieMovieTVDeals was supposed send me a notification when things on my wish list went on sale. I just happened to go into TunesGenieMovieTVDeals and saw that a show I wanted went on sale. If I hadn’t gone into TunesGenieMovieTVDeals I wouldn’t have known. Also now that I’ve purchased the show I deleted it from my wish list. But every time I open TunesGenieMovieTVDeals back up the show is still there. I don’t know why it won’t delete. It’s a bit annoying. It’s still a decent app. At least I can easily look to see if items I want go on sale.

TunesGenieMovieTVDeals seems to tackle the tremendous job of tracking sales and price changes in the iTunes Store really well. It’s simple and intuitive, and offers functionality that everyone wishes iTunes had built-in. The latest update seems to have addressed the stability issues that I encountered when searching for titles. Now I look forward to getting that first notification that one of the items I wish to buy has gone on sale. It’s hard to weigh the value of TunesGenieMovieTVDeals if it proves to do that effectively.

TunesGenieMovieTVDeals has been so handy for me as I am trying to transfer all of my hard copy DVDs to digital. The sales have really saved me a lot of money.

The only problem I am having is TunesGenieMovieTVDeals does not seem to want to refresh. I have tried force quitting TunesGenieMovieTVDeals , restarting the computer, and I seem to have the latest version. I know sales on movies don’t refresh every day but I know there’s a problem when I go to purchase a movie and the window does not pop up so I can buy it. This does seem to be a newer problem for me. Once this bug is fixed it will be the perfect app!

I just came across TunesGenieMovieTVDeals today and love the idea! Is there a way to add alert tones to my wishlist? I tried searching both general and specific names but none appeared. I saw that including apps was against iTunes’ policy; is this in the same category? Otherwise, thank you for a great app!

TunesGenieMovieTVDeals even has a trends category where you can see what’s on sale now. This is a app all regular shoppers of iTunes should have.

It is good for the most part, my only issue is the lack of UI polish. But it isn’t anything major enough to be a problem.

Gotta save that cash.

TunesGenieMovieTVDeals saves me a lot of time by allowing me to get alerts on price drops.

I wonder, is there any way to bring back the navigation bar without having the scroll all the way back to the top of a list that you’ve reached the bottom of?

I’ve been using TunesGenieMovieTVDeals for months, and it has saved me so much time. I don’t have to constantly search iTunes, just wait for the notification and then I buy what I’ve been wanting.

It’s a great app, very simple to use but it’s odd that I can’t remove items after purchasing. I thought that maybe if I followed the link to purchase it might remove itself but that didn’t work either. I’d give it five stars otherwise

I wanna start by saying that I love TunesGenieMovieTVDeals and I found a lot of great deals through TunesGenieMovieTVDeals , but today I noticed that it keeps crashing whenever I open it. It opens for less than a second and them closes immediately. I hope the developers can fix that soon.

I truly appreciate you fixing the crash bug! The constant loading I was receiving was after multiple uses but it thankfully has gone away. Thank you for TunesGenieMovieTVDeals , and replying back to me.

I love TunesGenieMovieTVDeals and it is very useful for finding deals or even searching iTunes in a faster way.

For the last few weeks I’ve noticed a new bug. Previously the deals tab would show all deals active going backwards for pages. Lately the deals keep refreshing and only seem to show the most recent (about a page worth) is it possible to change this back to how it worked before?
