This app (and even the actual website to be honest) needs an entirely new redesign. The concept is there but it's an extremely novice amateur format. Being able to see real-time toll prices was really the only reason why I even needed this app which only really works when you use the search by entry/exit point and select it from the drop down menu. However, the option to "save this route" doesn't exist when you do it that way, it only will save it if you put in an address and it decides when and where you enter and exit. It really is useless unless you either fix it, or strip away everything and only use it to generate real-time pricing from exit to exit.

Truly Terrible Workflow

While the capability is compelling, the implementation is truly awful. Trying to figure out where you are getting on and where you are gettin off is a visual endeavor when you don’t have a clue as to what the road names are. This app requires you to use Apple Maps separately to figure out what the names might be so you can select them from a randomly ordered list that only the locals would understand. Given how much money it costs to travel on the express lanes, and given that my tax dollars support the profit they make from the charges, someone should file suit. If this is not software malpractice, I don’t know what is.

Abysmal failure

A good app would show you which direction the entries and the exits are. It would also allow you to plan a trip showing you where to get on and where to get off starting at points not on the expressway hands. In addition to that it would also allow you to find which direction the lanes were at various different times of the day during the week. This is worse than useless! Removing the app. I would give it less than one star if I could. Don’t waste your time!
