Update - would change to 0 stars if I could. Newspaper and market removed today. Not worth playing the way it is now. Developers obviously don’t actually play the game.

Like the game, the absolute best feature is the newspaper and market. Saw the developers plan to REMOVE the BEST feature with the next update which will RUIN the game. Seems like this is turning into a copy of township except it has a lot more bugs and glitches. I can tolerate the glitches like being kicked out of the game several times a day but removing the newspaper and market will ruin the game. There will be no way possible to fill trains, ships, orders or get items for mini games like the cooking one with the OUTRAGEOUS quantities required in a timely manner. Barn size is too small, Facebook glitches so hard to get help from fb friends. Release dates are not announced so use caution going forward spending money for the westbucks or buying the gold pass. I am very disappointed developers are removing the best feature that makes this game stand out from other farming/racing games. Guess I’m returning back to candy crush township once the current gold pass expires for my next gold pass purchase. I did have a lot of fun using the newspaper and market. I loved stocking my market to help my team and friends. I am really disappointed to see the best feature of the game being removed. I had fun playing for a while.

I’ve been playing this game for about a month. I’d say I play daily but not for very long at a time. The one thing that annoys me is that I can’t advance because none of my buildings will finish because I don’t have enough building parts to finish them. The only way to get these is to fill ship orders and even doing that frantically I have 3 buildings that will never finish because they all need the same parts and as one finishes another one is ready to be built, so at any given time I imagine I’ll have numerous buildings I can’t finish. I’m not going to spend money to buy coins or buy the parts I need, I can only assume that’s the goal here. So I’ll find another game, I just can’t see myself spending actual money on this game. It’s not that good. I can only play for 2-3 minutes at a time because then I’m out of money or ingredients so it’s really just a waiting game. Kind of boring, honestly. There are better games out there, I’m sure.

I would like to say this is a great game, but I can’t play long enough to know. My game crashes CONTINUOUSLY !!! It has ever since I started playing. Every time I change screens. Whether it’s to check my ships or my fish or my animals or to help another player or go mining put goods in my market… it’s ridiculous and infuriating! And then there’s the issue with my space bar not working so typing a message takes serious effort and time. All of this causes me to miss out on opportunities. Another glitch is the fact that I am supposed to get 5 balloons each day to send to others. Nope! I don’t get those either! Occasionally one or two will show up. Yesterday I had four, but as soon as my game crashed and reloaded, I only had two!!! I have deleted and reinstalled my game several times and spoken with tech support. They said they would notify me when a technical update is available. But apparently that’s not a priority for them. 😢 This might be a great game. But I may never know.

I have been playing Wild West for several years. Recently they have decided to make a great game into Township Jr. and things I have paid real money for are now worthless. I have repeatedly reported my concerns to the ‘help line’ which I would not call helpful. I get pretty much similar answers each time. ‘Thanks for your feedback’. ‘ I’ll give your idea to the developers’. ‘This was helpful feedback’. Never do the messages match what I am complaining about. This week the game no longer pays the west bucks you win. The game has stolen more than 120 west bucks I have won now. I have been counting. And the response I got was ‘I will share your feedback with out developers’. This is NOT adequate. I have not quit basically because I have friends in the game I have played with several years but I’m getting close to doing so. I will be making a complaint to the better business bureau. I am posting this review. I will do all I can until my complaints are upscale to management as I have repeatedly asked and things are made right. I don’t appreciate having a game company steal from me and that is what is happening here. By the way. Don’t tell me to uninstall and reinstall. Or any of your little pat answers you standardly offer. I have tried them all!!

a couple weeks ago, there was an update and I lost my game. I contacted customer service, and provided all the information they asked for. They said were unable to restore my game. I asked if they could at least restore my purchases if I have to start over. They asked for more information regarding the transactions. I looked up the info and provided it. They came back and said something about transferring game to a new device. I told them that was never an issue, please restore my game or at least the purchases. They said they cannot find my game. I said, fine, please restore my purchases. They said the previous transaction ids, which they requested, don’t work on iOS, though clearly from the start we were in touch and discussing an iOS.

It’s been around two weeks, they were not able to restore my game, and it sounds like they are refusing to restore purchases.

The game is well designed and a good one, but this developer only cares about taking your money, not protecting your game or your gaming experience. They do not care about their customers. So if you are looking for a farming game, my recommendation is to look for another, more trustworthy one.

While playing the game and you tap on a item or machine it bounces off the the right or left, also you can’t just tap anywhere and the window you in closes you have to tap each window to close each on, if the makers of this game would go on TownShip and see how it functions then this game would be better, or even go on hayday and see how it functions, I’m not talking about the game it’s self I’m taking about the way it functions is like it was make on a clearance rack instead of good functioning game, and also. Come on do you really have to control how many people follow you it should be up to us the players, not you only giving us 5 people to follow and only five people can follow us, and the ones that follow us we can’t even remove them so if they quit playing the game we are stuck with a non active farm following us so we loose, get with the program and take a good look at how your game functions it could be a great game if you had a better IT guy developing it to a higher level

I started playing this game with my wife since she likes these type of farm games. I quickly realized that this game is designed to get you to spend real money on dollars. It’s possible to get them in game but the process is very slow. I’m almost level 25 and just had to spend in game dollars to finally get enough saws to clear out the rest of my land. Gold in this game is pretty worthless. I’ve amassed over 300k and don’t have much to spend it on. I get an overwhelming amount of upgrade items that I don’t need and very few of the ones I do need. I just unlocked the other side of the map only to find out that you cannot purchase the additional plats of land with gold but instead it requires a ton of new items to unlock which I hadn’t seen before.

This game is fun and I’d enjoy it a lot more if the developers would not make it such a grind. I’m fine with doing this stuff but it very apparent that your only way to get far enough is to spend an insane amount of time playing or buying your way to where you want to be.

I enjoy playing this game; however, to really have fun, you have to spend money. Too much money. You really cannot do a whole lot or advance very quickly unless you want to pay money. Very little opportunity to earn Westbucks which are required to advance. It’s also frustrating to have to constantly upgrade the barn in order to fit the products. It takes longer and longer to earn materials needed to upgrade. Too often, you end up with a much larger amount of one, MAYBE two materials to upgrade while sitting terribly low in the third. In the meantime, you lose space, but cannot unload the extra. It’s the same with the new buildings. You wait days on some of the production or public buildings just for you to have to earn more materials to complete the construction of something you’ve waited hours, even days, to complete. The countdown on the construction often stops. It tells you there are 20 hours left only to open the game several hours later to find there are 18 left when, clearly, it should match the number of hours actually passed. Other times, parts of the game advance in the actual time shown. Of course, this is all so you will spend more money to end the frustration. No thank you. The materials are not earned proportionally in the least. Way too many of one, MAYBE two, and very little of another. Unfortunately, I do not see this issue getting resolved because then the game would not generate as much revenue.

Left township and decided to try this one, heard it was better. The game is cool at first, I liked not having the mini games to complete the game pass. Unfortunately with how long everything takes, the mini games are needed. Ships shouldn’t take 4+ hours (especially when a lot of the items are necessary to advance), Items in the factories shouldn’t take that long to produce, they start at 30min and automatically jump to 1 hr to 2hrs. The cost of everything in game is crazy, You’re literally always broke trying to build factories or add farm animals, or pay to grow produce (at least make the produce free). With how slow everything is I don’t understand how people get enough materials to unlock lots of land. You reach levels extremely fast, it’s hard to keep up, because in order to make money you have to open another factory or get more farm animals. I usually like these games because it’s fun helping other people, but with this one, you can’t even make enough materials or items for yourself. I don’t mind paying for games, especially when it’s worth it and I understand that the devs have to make money, but isn’t there a way that a game could be made that both benefits both the devs and its players. This feels like a money pit and you’ll still have nothing to show for it, except an extra pig pen with no pigs because you can’t afford it in game lol. Guess township wasn’t so bad.

I love this game! I have spend a lot of money playing this game! With the new update and features, comes issues! I have a hard time as it it’s getting parts! I Will have 71 parts of something and have 2 of another part just to complete a building! I am getting the same parts repeatedly, it’s taking forever just to open a plot land. I can’t move the chat, I can write to my team but I can’t scroll or help bc it won’t allow me! Playing in a race I paid to continue to help my team and couldn’t bc it wouldn’t allow me to continue in the race! Contacted a team member to no avail I didn’t get help! When they respond two days later the race was already over. The help given wouldn’t have help as I had already attempted all suggestions! I spend real money weekly on this game bc I love it! These small issues definitely needs to be addressed and corrected! Definitely a improvement on parts bc that is a crucial part of the game getting parts to advance!

I am loving this game, more than any other farming game I’ve ever played. For that they deserve a five star however I’m only giving three because of the downright greed I’m seeing in the game. Right now for example I’m at level 17 and unlocked the train. In order to purchase the train i need 40,000 coins!!! I currently have 1800 and that is besides another 50,000 coins needed to purchase various other components of the game. I was considering spending real money which I never yet did on any game however when I checked the price i saw that it would cost me 100 dollars to get 40,000 coins which is downright ridiculous I’m not spending that kind of money on a game. I would love for you to make it either easier to earn coins or make the items cheaper and more affordable otherwise I will just have to stop playing this game. That would be a real pity since I’m really enjoying it

If not for two major issues I would rate this a 5 instead of a 3. I love farming games, and as far as the game itself goes, it rocks. However, I couldn’t tell you how many times that I have watched videos to earn Westbucks or coins, only to not get them. I’m talking at least 20 times within a week. The other issue is that sometimes numerous times a day the game will freeze up, so I have to uninstall it then reinstall it just so I can play. I know that I’m not the only person experiencing these major issues because there are other players in my neighborhood who are having the same issues. One more thing too. I invited my daughter to play, neither one of us got anything out of that. As soon as she leveled up enough to join a neighborhood she searched for mine, and it says neighborhood not found. I check every time I experience these issues and my game is updated, so that is not the problem. Any help in correcting these issues would be much appreciated, before I give up and move on. Thank you

You end up spending some real dollars sometimes over the years that I’ve been playing Wild West. But this latest update where they took away our markets and the newspaper to sell items and help each other out in your neighborhood has possibly been the last straw that breaks the camels back! A lot of us in the neighborhood are probably going to quit the game totally. We used to be able to help each other out selling expansion items, and other needed items in our markets, so there was a benefit to belonging to a neighborhood. But with multiple updates the developers have taken this away. Yes, they created more events to play, but are taking away your ability to get tasks done in a timely manner by removing the newspaper and our markets! They don’t explain how your supposed to do some events now after the newest update. It’s been two days since I sent a message to support and still no answer. And they do the updates in the middle of on going events/race contests. Very frustrating! So download the game if you like things being taken away and frustration. For me, if they don’t return the newspaper in a few days, where you could get lucky and buy items you needed from some stranger playing elsewhere in the world. And my market where I could sale items my friend in my neighborhood needs to finish a task/race I will delete WildWest./game.

I just downloaded this game, so I have not played it yet. I will update a review on the game once I have played the game awhile.
As for playing with real $$$ to advance in the game or purchase usually the cuter or better items, everyone you must realize without real $$$ the developers, designers, writers, etc could not create or enhance the game, or any game for that matter. It takes $$$ to pay for salaries, purchase equipment, pay rent or mortgage for the building itself, supplies, office equipment, etc. i always purchase at least the initial (usually very reasonable 99 cents to $4.99 package that every game I have ever played (around 25 or more,) has ever offered. There are Some games that I have now played for over 5 years; I have spent additional $$& on. No one is telling you, you have to spend $$$ to play the game. What they essentially are saying when there are purchases of any type, is it takes time & $$$ to add additional levels, graphics, items in the game, in order to keep the game, whatever it may be interesting & challenging for people to play, in order for the game to survive.

I have to revise my glowing review. I do enjoy playing the game, there is no doubt about that, but I am getting tired of the game arbitrarily closing despite the fact that I have more than enough available space to play it and I have deleted and reloaded it. Now, I cannot save my progress because the game can’t connect to Facebook. There are enough little annoying bugs that it is starting to get frustrating to play. I hope the balance doesn’t get tipped to deleting the game permanently m

After playing this game for a couple of years, I was bored. It was hum drum and repetitive. Just a couple of weeks ago, the devs released an update which included steamships, a much larger game area to develop, production buildings, residences and public buildings. Now I have several different ways to produce goods. I can ship them by train steamship, covered wagon or sell them in the market. There is a race that lasts a week which is fun to participate in. The awards for participating and for sending trains are pretty great. The game is now much more interesting and engaging. I recommend the game to anyone who likes building farms and towns.

I came to play Wild West after Township began glitching and the developers decided it should be a pay to play game. I’ve played township for 4 years. I play that game every single day, but have had to revert to playing Wild West as well to be able to have a decent gameplay experience. Wild West is 3D opposed to 2D like Township. I have to say, the graphics are great, but slightly dull. im finding it incredibly difficult to find an active Co-Op on Wild west. Township kept up and didn’t suggest inactive co ops, which is a plus for them. Aside from the co-op shortages, this game is definitely better than Township in many ways, but Township is nostalgic. I NEVER spend money on games, yet wild west was able to get .99 cents out of my pocket😂

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the exact reason why i decided to leave a review, which again, I NEVER do. Wild West refuses to load. I can wait between 30 seconds at times for it to load, which is great. The problem is those times that i wait 5+ minutes and it never loads so i just go back to playing Township. This has been going on for a while and has been bugging me. I have restarted my phone and everything.

So this game is very good but there are some things that I would like to have changed the first I’m gonna talk about the good things this game is very very good for farming people that want to farm so that they can understand a little bit but also it has some made up fiction the things that I would want to change is that we should be able to get free Westbucks at least every day maybe like five of them because to buy money and you have to have 50 Westbucks To get a little amount of money and I also think that we should add like new characters and more houses are stuff that can be made from it like the bakery and stuff like Addmore stuff like that so if you could add like sugar and just bacon powder What does stuff like that just random stuff that would make the game more interesting and the last thing that I would like for you guys to change is that we should be able to add like a trampoline in there I know it’s probably not part of the Wild West but it would be good for decoration so people would like it and then say people could go on the trampoline and they get entertained and everything so then you can get money and experience but other than that I like this game and this is why I gave it a four star review goodbye

I see a lot of reviews complaining about how hard it is to expand your farm in this game. They are not wrong, but I think you are missing the point. Once you have expanded the land as much as it will go and have a huge barn and silo, and all the coins you could ever spend, the game becomes rather boring. I say cherish these days when you are actually excited to see building supplies drop from trees, and don’t be in such a hurry to grow up!

I do wish they would add another server, as the glitches seem to be related to server overload. Also the stagecoach races have a lot of problems. More high point tasks need to appear when your team is full of level 70 plus members. Nobody wants a task worth 39 points, and it takes half an hour for a new one to appear. We all end up doing trains, which is just like every other day....boring.

I love this game, I just think there’s a lot to improve on. Things take way too long to grow and produce. The train & ships take too many of the items at one time that take hours to produce. I also think we should be able to buy & sell tools & building materials. It requires too many items to be able to expand. It also takes way too many points to level up. I get booted from the game & have to go back in all the time. I think the developers need to listen to the players complaints and make changes. They also need to explain things about the game a little better. With all that being said, customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. They answer my questions within 12 hours and are always very helpful.

Almost every time you open the game up it disappears it starts at the beginning I’m very unhappy with this gameplay ok I have tried to get old game back I was on level 23 I had a lot of stuff and I use my data to play , up date my game was saved through Game Center I somehow got it back and then bought money and have a neighbor hood with a friend and lo and behold I went to play later and they started me all over again thing is I am older house bound and the farm and town games helps me so if the developers read this please fix please I love to play this game but it has glitches in it please fix the glitches I do spend a lot of cash in this game I noticed you have to spend a lot of money if you want to get where you wanna be
