Shame on the developers of Mahjöng and shame on Apple for allowing these types of apps the ability to collect in app purchases. My mother loves playing this game. However, Mahjöng has a deceptive button at the bottom of the game that comes up when she is done with the game. She thinks that she is restarting the game but instead is purchasing an additional tile for a $1.99. I activated in app purchase blocking but somehow she is still able to click the button. It’s despicable that this type of deceptive business practice is allowed. This should be a no star review.

I gave it 4 stars because, if you use up the 5 shuffles & can’t finish a game, it goes to a screen for you to pay money for more shuffles. I’m not doing that. It’s a free game. Don’t nickel & dime us please. You can bypass that anyway & just play the game again & get through it without having to shuffle it.
Other than that, it is a fun game. I guess I’ll just have to work through that the rest of the way. There are a lot of games. I don’t know how often you get these 5 free shuffles or if that’s it. Pretty sad if that’s all you get.

I’m changing my stars to only 1. You only get the 5 shuffles for the entire 1500 levels apparently. This is so ridiculous.
Ok makers of this game, this should be a RELAXING game. You even have really nice relaxing music that sounds like the music when you go to get a nice massage and almost fall asleep to. You make it to where you have to race to get the game finished or you have to do it all over again or you won’t go to the next level.
NO THANK YOU!!! I am deleting this game now. It’s too frustrating especially with what we are going through in this world right now. We all need some relaxation time for goodness sakes.

I was enjoying this game without any additional help options when I got stuck repeatedly playing the same level.

I added a couple of different options and those weren’t worth the cost- when you need a option to change your game going-you expect when you purchase what you expect to help with you finish- this game wants more and more money-even when you haven’t played your entire level and I’m at 990 and have played this from the beginning a couple of times.

I love this game. It's relaxing, and I don't feel I have that "beat the clock" stress. I'd give it five stars, but it seems a little ridiculous that if you lose all the scrambles right away, there is no way to "earn" more. I refuse to spend real money to continue playing a game that was free to begin with....or to keep playing any game for that matter. It also is frustrating to have to replay the same level over and over more than three times in order to move on.

I love playing mahjong so I downloaded Mahjöng because I thought it would be a good one. When I first opened it, it didn’t seem as “up to date” as most apps are. That didn’t bother me. I thought it was very fun and would play several levels at a time throughout the day. The only reason Mahjöng is getting three stars is because you’re only allowed THREE free shuffles when you get stuck on a level before you have to BUY more. You can’t even watch a video to get a free one or something. That’s so annoying, please fix. Until then, I’ve deleted Mahjöng and am finding another one to play. That’s just ridiculous and unfair.

This game is great and is the simple layout that I prefer, with no distracting shadows, no hints to show remaining matches, no tiles that spring up and give a tile version of a high five (smashing into each other with stars coming out), etc.

Only one thing I hate about it is that playing it on an ipad is awkward - I always like landscape mode and this game only appears in portrait - for phones, I guess.

I love this card game. Have tried several and this is the best of them all. Once you start you want to keep going. Have several friends who have downloaded it also.
I have one question: are you going to add more levels? I am on level 903 and dread getting to level 1000 and the end. Wish they would make more levels

That's the best way I can describe Mahjöng. I completed the other 100 game Majong by DoraLogic, and was having withdrawals! So glad to see there was another version by same developer. I will admit that it can be frustrating at times, but I guess I'm just one of those...
Anyway, great brain game, hope another will be released by the time I finish this one.

Two years and two months ago I had 12 strokes. I played this in the ER to keep me calm. I finished all of the game about a month ago and reloaded it so I could start all over. I’ve got a pretty great life aside from health challenges but this game is my go to for staying calm and getting through pain. Thank you so much for creating it.

Having read the reviews about there only being so few free shuffles, I’ve been restarting my games whoever I come to a point where there are no more matches. This is working out just fine.
Enjoying the game is all according to your expectations. I’ve found the game to be very engrossing and I’m well satisfied with it.

The graphics in this game are better than most, and there appears to be many puzzles to solve. But soon you run out of shuffles and hints, and you then are asked to purchase more. Either do this and continue play with these features, or restart each puzzle and work on it until you solve it.

I have never have played any card games like this . This a 100. % a games were you want give up. All you want to do is keep on playing and playing 😊. Well why not ?

The best part is when you get to the end you see hey I got it !! Ya ya 😀.
You know there are others card games also is out there but , I am just going to say this but it what my thoughts are . They are other’s card games but which one do you maybe the best ?? Will it the one’s were you can play by yourself!!! You can just keep on playing if the cards game doesn’t say stop 😊 . Well that about all I can say.

I absolutely love this game. Do not often get three stars but almost always two and that is ok with me. I had almost reached the number of 500 games and thought I would just be able to replay them all and found to my surprise and delight that I now have 500 new ones plus all the old ones. Awesome.
Now, I have finished all of the 1000 games and am still very happy. Until there are more added, I shall continue to earn the last star on all the ones I have two stars on. My apologies for not spending money on shuffles, etc.; on my limited income it would become not so good for me.

Love this game! So relaxing. I would play every night at bedtime to wind down. Just passed level 1000 yesterday and now I don’t know what to do! Please create more levels🙏🏻. I’ve tried other apps and none come close to the format of this game. Shows levels up to 3,000, but I’m not able to advance. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have played different apps and this one was the best. I would wake up in middle of the night and play a few games to get back to sleep! How many games you get is great fun. It keeps the brain going. Some games are quick and others could last a couple of days! I deleted all other similar apps from my gaming file. It's easy to see what tiles are in play and which are not do you don't waste time.

I completed all of the puzzles in the game. There are many challenging ones that I did have to work harder to complete, no doubt about that. But Mahjöng is phenomenal! Clear, no ads, easy to navigate and definitely a challenge. If I had to find anything that needs changing, I would be for the developer to have a date completed showing for every puzzle. This game is definitely 5 star

I LOVE this game. Best version ever. I have played several other versions and this one is hands down superior. I like the fact that it is so challenging. The other versions are way too simplified - no strategy needed.

I have installed (played the 500 games) and uninstalled and reinstalled this particular game multiple times. My only suggestion is for the creators to make additional versions of this game.

P .S. - I never buy additional options. Much more fun figuring it out on my own.

One of the best Mahjong games out there. Highly sensitive to my taps with no lag time allowing me to play really fast. Most games, I'm able to get all three stars, but some take multiple plays which is great- challenging, but not impossible. Well done! It would be great to have ways to earn additional shuffles, etc., e.g. watching videos (just a suggestion for upcoming revisions). Love this game. Thank you! Oh, one other suggestion- my husband would love it if there was a pause button so that I could actually talk to him occasionally 😉

It’s a good thing I don’t work a job that demands a lot of my time because I am addicted to this game. I’ve played this game for several years. I have tried different formats but this one is the most fun and easiest to read. There is an issue, occasionally when you plug your phone (iOS) into your car (using USB) with it restarting, causing you to lose the level you were working on. It doesn’t happen every time and it may have something to do with your vehicles interface with iOS products. Other than that small issue it works great. I’m up to level 1000.

I love this game but I have been stuck on level 699 and it is unbeatable, I have tried everything that I can think of and I have played this level alone over 100 times it’s incredibly frustrating is there anything that I can do to get past this level
