I got this game about two years ago and have kept it ever since. I loved the beauty and the serenity this game had while being a simple tap to riches game. However I did eventually get bored of how long it took to unlock things, which I expected as you progress, and I don’t have a problem with this part. I took a significant break and was considering deleting until the seasonal events showed up. They brought a whole new set of content that I could enjoy while progressing normally which got me back into the game. I loved what this company was doing with these events and have been playing as much as I could collecting these new event fish and decorations. This is no longer the case. The old system of the event currency you collected from the fish was perfect. It allowed you to gain a significant amount of currency in short bursts from the song of the moon if you committed yourself to 5 mins. I had spent nearly every gem I collected to get it to a %1100 bonus from %500 meaning every fish tap was worth 11 event currency instead of 5) just for this. Now you can only get one point each tap. All the gems I committed to this are essentially pointless and all the work I put into this system is gone. I don’t know what the developers are trying to fix but this is not better. I am extremely disappointed. I sincerely hope this is not leading deeper into a pay to play system and is just one event or mistake.

I’ve played this since December 2016 and had given it a good rating. It was a nice relaxing game. As time progressed for each event a special creature was introduced to buy with real money, purpose to help gain event currency to buy event fish. Fine. But it wasn’t necessary. With the change in ownership and event updates, which events now happen EVERY MONTH, not a few times a year which was fun, it’s nothing but a money pit and a frustrating one. you have to spend money to complete the event. And they raised the prices. All the while completely ignoring the glitches, crashes, necessary ads with not loading *Request Failed* or playing but then blacking out at the end. Having to reset your device every 2 days to get one game to work, mostly, is just not worth it anymore. There’s no time to just relax, work on your tank, have the fish out that you want, and make the game yours. And gashapon, rife in this game. Very much a gamble and something I’m surprised Apple and google are okay with gashapon.

If you decide to play please don’t spend any money, it is a waste in the end as the players/customers are no longer important, any monies already spent are worthless, it’s become a whale hunt. If you watch ads, you’re still a customer. They make money from ad views. This is now a full tilt freemium game, which makes little sense as there’s no end point. You go at your own pace, no level limit. support has become non-existent

...the developers threw this Halloween update at us. The new tank, while cool aesthetically, does come with a few glaring things that I take issue with. First off- it completely values saved event currency! Playing in the new tank, you quickly advance up into the F, G, etc levels of Vitality- versus previous events where the highest amount you needed was 20A or so. Players’ saved currency from previous events, which they worked hard to accumulate, is now worthless. And secondly- what about the event fish players already had? You start off with no fish in the Halloween tank, regardless of how many you had from previous Halloween events or the fall event. What’s more, the new event fish and the old event fish are lumped together- say, if you had a complete set of last year’s Halloween fish, you’ll have to earn them all over again along the way to getting all the new fish. Again- player’s previous progress is essentially erased, and there’s now no way for us to complete previous event sets in our main tank save for the lucky shell. Not cool. It’s time you start listening up to your players, Abyssrium. Stop tweaking the systems they’re already happy with- especially not into this disappointing model. I’m going to be keeping my review at one star until this is changed.

I’ve used this game to de-stress for a very long time. It’s beautiful, calming, and serene... but the developers of TapTapFish have really let down their players with the last few updates. While I understand that as this is a free app to download, they need to make their money from sponsors using advertisements, they have removed several features of TapTapFish that made playing really enjoyable. The updates have made it very difficult to advance in the game, and despite their community’s respectful requests to reinstate some of these features, they have become increasingly silent. Customer service used to be a priority to these developers and at this point, they don’t even bother to respond to questions or concerns about the updates. Several of the functions (some of which I have actually paid for) have been removed from TapTapFish , and I would assume that many players as well as myself thought these were bugs initially, but there seems to be no plans for fixing them. I am very sad that they seem to have abandoned their customers, as this used to be a wonderful game, which in the past I gave a five-star rating. After months of waiting for fixes and not getting any response on feedback, I will be deleting TapTapFish today as it’s no longer worth the space.

When I found this game I could not help but sing its praises. I had a few friends playing with me and I made charts and lists to help me find all of the hidden fish. This game was one of my favourite things. I would wake up and instantly open TapTapFish. The music was calming, the scenery was wonderful, and the fish were adorable. The game play was easy. Tap. Done. I can do that. Tap more, get fish! YES! I can do that too! Upgrade your corals to make more fish! Simple. Upgrade your skills to get more “event candy” to get, YES! MORE FISH! CUTER FISH! Takes time, takes lots of time to get 10,000 candy for ONE FISH. but now, all of the effort I spent getting the skill upgrade that multiplied my candy is useless. Why even upgrade it at ALL?! Why would I even play anymore if I LITERALLY have to play ALL DAY, not just briefly during my day, to BARELY have enough for ONE event fish. WHY would you nerf that?!?! Oh because you are a bunch of trolls that want money?! That is inexcusable. This game was my peace and happiness and yes I know that is insanely pathetic. I’m sad and have little joy in my life. This was it and now it’s gone. I’m so disappointed in you. I’m so hurt that you could do something so petty. You lost a friend. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

So I really enjoyed this game up until today. I played a lot in my spare time and I had established a pretty solid collection of fish within the game. I really enjoyed it and put a fair amount of hours into it.
Today I thought I would treat myself to an in game purchase equivalent of like $20. I don’t always buy in game purchases but I figured since I enjoyed the game it might be worth it.
So I payed for it and got the delivered goods, however, after I closed TapTapFish an hour or so later, I opened it back up to find that all of the progress I had done with my purchase was completely undone! I had record of my purchase and there were still some things in game that were evidence of my purchase, but almost all of my progress was gone! My purchase game with a dog in scuba gear, some crafting materials, some diamonds, and some pearls. I had bought it specifically to make some progress in the current event, and I did just that. I got some new fish for the event, I upgraded some things and used my diamonds and pearls. After I logged out I lost all of that, but I still have the dog which I couldn’t have gotten without purchasing that specific package. I think that if I’m going to spend $20 I shouldn’t lose what I had paid for once I closed TapTapFish !

I enjoyed TapTapFish but now I’m just upset and I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t buy anything in this game.

I’ve had this game for over a year now, on and off playing. The graphics are awesome, and fish are adorable, I love the lucky spin shells to get past fish. But this Valentine’s day event has thrown this all out the window.
I liked the old system, of how the fish generate event currency and if you use Song of the Moon and/or Spirit of Life, you could get 5 event currency per tap, or even 10. Otherwise, the event would be impossible to get any currency at all. After all, your only get 1 event currency per tap every minute or so, and trying to get 900 event currencies without Song of the Moon and/or Spirit of Life was impossible. It actually made the event somewhat possible. But that’s exactly what they got rid of. Events were hard enough already, but now they’re downright impossible. I’m pretty sure this is their way of getting you to waste your life on the game and pay. After all, you'd have to spend all your time awake without the old features to actually get something out of the events.
I loved this game, but now I’m afraid that they’re getting greedy and money hungry. Please don’t ruin this game and go Dragon City on me. I loved this game and the event fish especially, don’t take this away for money.

Tap tap fish is a wonderful game. I love the aesthetics and music and the overall serenity to the game. I first downloaded tap tap fish a year ago. I loved how it was also pretty simple to get more fish, just collect vitality by tapping away and eventually by using skills like “song of the moon”, etc. I want to be a wildlife/ marine biologist and I’ve always wanted a game on my phone where I could make my own little aquarium/ zoo and this one was the best to me out of the ones I tried. Now here’s the issue: the update. And all those good reviews are either from new players or bots trying to make your game look better than it is cause most of the long time players ARE NOT HAPPY with this new change. I already sent a FB message to you guys about my thoughts on the new update, etc. but who knows if y’all will read it. Anyways, pleas listen to your players. Please don’t become like those companies who ignore their consumers wishes, etc. I do not want to delete this game but if it doesn’t get better, I will. I CANNOT support people who, excuse my bluntness, basically screw people over and don’t care. You guys were doing great until this new update. I understand you need to make money, but there are ways to do that while being fair to all. You don’t have to make it a pay to play kind of thing. Thank you! Hopefully this gets better!

There’s this glitch where when you open a new screen like press the trophy button or the manage fish button and any buttons at the top of screen the game crashes and I looked up how to fix this but there was nothing. On your Facebook posts comments some people are complaining that there’s a facebook glitch and the crash glitch that I mentioned before. The events that come out make you get 5 types of event fish to get a new fish and some of the better fish make you get 20 to 60 event fish. This is fine except that I don’t want 60 of the same fish swimming around and I try to get in the manage fish option but then the game crashes. Another thing is that you need to open the trophy button to get pearls but since that also crashes the game I can’t get pearls unless I buy them and I don’t feel like doing that. It seems like you’ve had problems like this happen in the past because you post stuff about iOS tap tap fish players game crashing on Facebook. One last thing I should mention is people have had this crashing problem since January 2019. Thank you for reading this if you are one of the people who helped make this game.

The game itself is amazing and calming. It has helped me with a lot of my anxiety and stuff like that watching the fish swim around the sea as everything gets bigger as I level up and add more creatures. However there is a thing going on with the events. I’ve played this game forever on past devices and the events were fun all the way until this past Valentine’s Day event. It was a pay to win situation where you had a choice to struggle on getting the event fish or you could pay $9 to have a fun, easier time getting the fish and new corals. This wasn’t like the fun events we’re use to where everyone has a chance to get all the fish with some savings from the “candy” pile or whatever currency it was that season. It was fun, easy, and not too much of a pain to deal with since you could take previously saved currency and pay for new fish. Now there is no roll over event currency, there isn’t a choice as to what fish you get, and it’s a pain in the neck to do anything. It’s not fun. So would I recommend this game? Not in its current state. I use to recommend it to friends with anxiety and depression and they would have fun with it but not anymore.

I love playing this game and even got my boyfriend to get it so i could basically play it on his phone. The events in the game used to be really fun and I would have a great time trying to unlock all the fish, and i would usually barely unlock the last event fish before the end of the event.

With the added fusion event fish and each of the tasks taking more than a few days to complete (make 20 completely unrelated “new” fusion fish), events are nearly impossible unless you have everything unlocked/have been playing a while. I used to feel like watching ads and paying money were optional in this game to make it go faster, but now I feel like I can’t get any event fish unless i spend something... I might just delete it instead. I would really like to see the events go back to how they were, or at least with more realistic tasks/more time for the event.

Also, the new daily tasks are honestly too much to do every day. This isn’t the kind of game you want to play for 30 min straight... and tapping 2500x every day is honestly ridiculous. I think they got more than 2x as hard as they used to be, and it just doesn’t make sense. I really like the game but some changes are being made that make me feel like the developers don’t want me to have fun while I play it.

So somehow I started my Midas tap trial and it rlly helped me a lot, and because the trial is over my progress had been slowed down dramatically. I can wait for 10 hours and watch an ad after words to get the Midas tap for 3 minutes. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the time though if you think about it. Waiting for TEN HOURS ONLY TO USE USE IT FOR 3 MINUTES! Common you could do better than that at least give us an hour for waiting 10 hours for the Midas tap. It would help with the progress. I have notice that during my Midas tap it’s still a lot of grinding to do but it’s fun, but without the Midas tap it takes a lot more grinding using my fingers just to make 1/8 the progress of Midas tap. Please please if you can please consider my suggestion. If you could maybe go a step further do you think you can make the Midas Tap for free? I know that you haven’t been responding to people’s feedbacks, but if you have time/can please consider this, thank you very much! :)

It helps relax me and helps clear my mind seeing all the colorful baby fishies come into coral reef guy's life. 😁 It shows me that anything is possible, even with taking each day one at a time. 😊 It motivates me to put even more love into every thing I do.🐠✨ I really like all the little baby fishies and love spending time with my baby sister who showed me this game. It looks like whoever made this game put a lot of heart into what they are doing. The only thing is it crashes. I have iOS 9.3.5. Hopefully it can be fixed soon. I can't wait to play. (Don't worry. :) Take your time!) It still needs a lot of work though. There are way too many ads, very glitchy and I wish events were easier. I don't want us to stare at the screen too much. Still, I am excited to watch this game grow as I bond with my sister. I can't wait until the lonely coral reef guy has lots of fish buddies and smiles! :D Then he won't be lonely anymore. I absolutely love this game. My favorite event was the Christmas one from last year and I collected all the fishes and mammals. Sadly I had to take a break from playing this game to focus on my studies. Few months later, I finally opened it to play the game and I realized it had made a lot of updates! The daily challenge changed a little, it has a new map now etc. But there are a few “glitches” or “bugs” in the game. One of them is watching an ad to get a boost in the Halloween event. The game doesn’t pause while the ad is playing and I loose my chance to level up my pumpkin coral. And the second one is that I logged in to my facebook account to collect gifts from friends and I got an achievement. I went to look for the achievement but it is not there but the little red exclamation mark is still on the trophie icon. Its bothering me more everytime when I play the game.

But besides that. Good game. I absolutely love it. It would be great if those little bugs that I mentioned would be fixed 🤗

I started playing this game a little over 8 months ago, the game (for my phone at least) has always had some sort of bugginess to it. Right now, after I watch an add my game will not allow me to exit the add forcing me to exit TapTapFish , then I have to rewatch the add with no benefit from the last one. The adds work successfully about 80% of the time and play all the way through. In my time playing During the event I haven't gotten the fall themed marlin even though I've probably watched adds every hour - 2 hours every day for 5 days meaning I should be well over the Marlin watching add quota thing. I understand it should be fixed but for me it's not. Everything else about the game is beautiful. I love the music and the aesthetic and I LOVE the axolotl in the game (I keep them as a hobby and it's great to see awareness for the species being spread). It's buggy and annoying but I think all games these days have flaws. It's really impressive for a game of this type to actually be so, not buggy. I can tell the creators care and I know they'll fix whatever the issue is soon.

I’ve been playing this game for a few years now, and the way it was first introduced to me made me think it would be a calming stress management game. The music itself is very soothing, but for those who don’t like getting frustrated as far as collecting items or in this case marine mammals, this game isn’t for you. Nonetheless, the graphics on this game are amazing and accurate to the appearance of marine life. It’s good inspiration for marine education, especially when you don’t know what a specific animal is in the game, your more inclined to do research on it. On the side note, I as a player love the natural fish and completely avoid the event fish. Don’t get me wrong. Event fish shouldn’t be taken away, but I think a good incorporation would be to allow players to use their diamonds/currency to buy packs/packages, rather than with just real money. Heck, you could even do both! Anyways, it’s always fun to see what new marine life has been added to the game to try and collect and learn about. Thank you!

First, I was effected by the iOS crash bug and was without my game for a week and a half due to being unable to update. But when I did get to update this morning, I was worried I was going to have missed out on the daily pearls from the package I had purchased two weeks prior. But TapTap was looking out and for iOS crash sufferers, there was an option for back collection due to the crash so THANK YOU taptap, for thinking about such a thing for your paying customers!

Second, this game does so much for my depression and anxiety! When I get low, looking at my fishies does so much for me and the little uplifting phrases from my coral make my day so much better. And when I get anxious, the tapping helps. The game has also helped keep my hands busy to help me lower my smoking habits as well, which is another bonus.

There's obviously always going to be bugs, but for what the game offers and provides for me, this is the best download decision I've ever made. I'm so glad my friend suggested it to me!

The game is awesome, cute, and serene, the concept is simple and unique, and the fish skins are silly and creative. But I see improvements.
First, I’ve noticed some weird glitch. Sometimes when my fish go in the hole in the corallite, they come out through the stone. Like, not through the hole in the back, but through the walls. It makes sense for the ghost fish to do that, but still.
Also, I’d like to personally manage fish, and not just modify active fish quantities, but give them customizable name tags, so I could name my 20 BLT fish (no joke LOL) different names and be able to tell them apart. I feel this would have players more emotionally attached to their fish and therefore play the game more often. I’d really like that feature added in, and I bet lots of other players would, too.
Finally, another thing that would be cool to put in is to modify specific fishes personalities. Do you want these fish to school up, or not? Do you want to set this fish a certain swimming path/routine? Or do you want your fish to be all antisocial emo fish and never leave the cave? I think these name tag and personality concepts would really add a lot more control over players’ aquariums and add more detail to the game.

I have been a long time Abyssrium player. I played for a few months a while ago, and redownloaded it in February. It is SUPER fun and addicting. The events add a lot of cool and unique fish. I do have three gripes about it, but overall, definitely a 5 star game.
The STRIPED MARLINS, and all the other fish with identical mechanics. Still have yet to see them, and since you need them to complete collections and collect the 1000 year old Blue Whale, I think they definitely need to appear more often.
The HIDING FISH. They take FOREVER to get, and youre either pouring in tons of materials or tons of event currency to get them. 70+ tries for each fish???? That's crazy. I think there should be a vitality option, AND the chances to get each fish should be adjusted.
The FUSION BUG. I see a lot of people have been having this issue, where they make an event fusion fish, resources are consumed, and no fish is made. I had the same problem, I reached out to the dev team, within a day they responded and then shortly after, refunded my resources! I was very pleasantly surprised by their response.
Overall, no game can ever be 100% perfect. Abyssrium gets close!

I love this game! It is super calming and a great time killer. I play this game everyday and would get a subscription but my parents say no😒 but the one thing about it is that i think it should ask us, hey are you sure you wanna buy this? Cause I have been saving my pearls and accidentally bought something and I’m really sad😔 but overall it’s a great game! The events are so cool 🥳 and the animation is adorable.💕 This game is awesome and I really think you should try it out! But I am just warning you, you might wanna practice some patience cause sometimes it can be slow.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Also you can get freshwater by level 1500on ur lonely coral, the thing is, that I have been saving for so long, my pearls were so high! Because I wanted to get some crabs to make a fish for this event, then it ended before I could get that fish..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. I really really need you people to make it where you can control if you want to change the event. This would really be awesome so please do because I’m so sad now!!!😭😭😭😭
