This was a great app until the most recent Apple software updates came out. Now the compass is frozen. I have deleted and reinstalled it twice and done a hard restart on my phone. I then called Apple and told them that not only their compass app, but a third-party app compass (Gaia GPS) has also frozen and the compass does not work in that app either. Apple told me that neither of those apps are theirs even though the compass app clearly says that the developer is Apple.
I have deleted the Apple compass app and have downloaded a different compass app that works.
Can’t find north;suddenly changed and not working

I think I made the mistake of updating it recently. It has worked great for years but not now. Suddenly it has a red bar when it deviates from north. Never saw that before. Have to find something else till it’s fixed. iPhone SE IOS 15.1
Quit working

It worked fine when I first installed it. But then I dropped my phone a couple of times and there’s no way to re-calibrate it. No matter which way I face it’s always telling me I’m facing north. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app… nope, still won’t work.
