I‘ve been downloading and then uninstalling almost every popular piano app in PianoForYou Store because they all had cluttered UIs, were littered with ads, or were slow and glitchy. PianoForYou is perfect!! I can’t believe PianoForYou doesn’t have more downloads!! It is so simple and intuitive with no nonsense, the sound is nice and doesn’t glitch when you tap a single note repeatedly, and it opens very quickly. Thank you!!!
Like some others, I got PianoForYou for the widget and it’s so awesome to be able to just swipe to it and plunk something out when I need to instead of poking around through GarageBand or my other music apps.
What would make this just absolutely PERFECT would be a Home Screen-capable widget so I could stick it anywhere I like for truly instant access. I would pay for that feature. Thanks!
I got PianoForYou for the widget, which I love – it’s simple, pretty, and does what I need.
A few things I’d like to see in the widget:
- let me disable glissando, since it doesn’t really work – horizontal swipes trigger dismissal of the widget view, so I only hear 2 notes before they’re awkwardly cut off by the OS.
- read from the “number of white keys onscreen” preference. I use the piano for reference pitches, so I only need to see one octave on iPad mini, and it’d be nice for those keys to be bigger.
Exactly what I want from a piano app. No nonsense, just simple white keys.
