AdBlockMulti has stopped all the annoying pop ups, pop unders and all the ads that are blocking your screen. Face it, if you use your phone for web access, there’s not much real estate on the screen for extra stuff.
I’ve used it for a couple of days now and I’ve really noticed the difference. I recommend it.

Cannot rate AdBlockMulti fully as never got past the set-up phase as instructed by developer. It tells you to turn on BOTH permissions in Safari for Ad Blocker which I did, then went back to app and turned on specific blocks I wanted, and it then states “update” within AdBlockMulti but it never updates but gives an error message that states I need to contact support for AdBlockMulti. It gives an email but got an error message that “The recipient’s email system refused to accept a connection from your email system.”

Ads are getting to the point where they take up so much of the small screens that they are seen but passively ignored. AdBlockMulti saves at least a quarter of screen size scrolling for every page in site. Love AdBlockMulti!

Is there any way you can block JavaScript that tries to automatically print or bring up alert message box with user input -ok/cancel? Both of those are super annoying

I compared this content blocker, Ad Block Multi, with two others: Content Blocker+ and Handblocker. I opened a clickbait article on Facebook (Oola, Diply, etc) like "25 people share the moment they realized they wanted to run away and hide because they went into public with no pants on" where each story is on its own page plastered with 30 ads, and tested each of the blockers, one at a time.
Results:
- Ad Blocker Multi blocked NOTHING - same as no blocker at all. Block list and algorithms must be woefully out of date.
- Blocker+ and Handblock: both pretty good. Blocked all the ads scattered within the story content I came to see.
Block lists and advertisers change over time. I tested these blockers on March 4, 2017.

Hard to actually tell how good this works because I don’t know where the ads, pop ups and cookie reminders are supposed to be haha. I rarely see them so it must do something.

I was lucky not lucky. I also found AdBlockMulti on Appsliced for FREE & thought it was worth a shot. It wasn't. Every page, ads everywhere. It was gross. Had a bad time. Even experienced decision makers can make poor decisions. This was one of the worst I've made. Unfortunate. Happens to the best of us, tho. Good luck w/ it
