A "whatever" app?

I went to the dev/support site to ask this, but the app wasn't listed or mentioned, so it seems like this is a toss-it-onto-the-store-and-forget-it "whatever" money supplement app.
Screenshots don't show it is adware and there is no way to purchase to remove the ads. For a map app to have any % of screen used for ads is a detriment, and no way to pay to remove them is really unfortunate for the user.
Use to be the best!

No maps at all now. I think the last update did it.
The menu is almost completely dark. But, if I click around the 7th space down, a map does come up! I have to do this every time, though.
