Pet Monitor VIGI Reviews

I’ve got 2 old iphone 5S’ I decided to use as security cameras (nothing wrong w them/like new). Bought PetMonitorVIGI. Shouldn’t be a problem right? Nope. PetMonitorVIGI stops working (after 8-24 hours) on both iPhone cameras, making PetMonitorVIGI useless. I set all the settings to what is stated are required. I’ve updated, restarted and tried just about everything I can think of that might be causing the fail. Contacted the developer; got back to me with no helpful insights. If you’re developing an app that you are charging people for, then you should have a better grasp of phone settings and how they interact with your app to troubleshoot all the phones that are able to run PetMonitorVIGI . Of course we’re using old iPhones, we’re not using new ones. Otherwise, I’d just buy a security cam system (it would be cheaper). This is kind of the whole point; a 2nd life for these phones. As a developer you should also express some kind of intellectual curiosity about problem solving, as I’ve experienced professionally with apps. Otherwise, you are just an amateur (this instance) and your app should be free.

This needs some fine tuning before it’s a 5 star. How about multiple select and delete all option to delete all the photos in the activity log. Also, changing the password took 6 tries before it actually worked. I also don’t see where I can add on devices. Also, under the devices section, there’s nothing there - not even my own devices that I am currently using. The monitor and camera seem to work fine - just fine, not great. It would be great to be able to auto-focus and have different filter option for lighting situations in the space I’m monitoring (due to windows and sunshine, etc.). The talk back button didn’t work well at all and I had both devices on full audio. It would be great to take pictures in real time of monitoring - if that is an actual option offered, that too didn’t work for me. I’m using this to monitor my senior dog who has an autoimmune disease so it’s important to have a good app that has versatility. This one is just ok - also, the time between when my dog moved and when I got a motion alert was extremely lagging.

Please help me understand when I have it plugged in it shows me the battery is dying then cuts off the camera and the sometimes the Wi-Fi won’t connect to PetMonitorVIGI but it shows connected and usable to everything to the iPad and all other equipment in the house. I like using it but is frustrating that it only works 8-12 hours but it’s working fine when I get home? Or my friends check on it in person.

I have used PetMonitorVIGI for a few years now. First I had a sick pip and now I have a new puppy. I love that I can watch my dogs while I am at work. However In the last few weeks tho the camera seems pixelated with moments. Its not in focus at all when my dogs move. I have did all necessary updates on both devices. I have restarted both devices and nothing seems to help. I used to love PetMonitorVIGI but now it seems to not work as well as it used too. Totally disappointed. Maybe have to think of changing to another.

PetMonitorVIGI is so AMAZING!! My sweet baby suffers from extreme separation anxiety. We have to exhaust her every day before we leave and we’re still left anxious wondering what she might destroy if decides too orgets out of her kennel. After getting PetMonitorVIGI we know every second how she’s doing, get alerts, pictures. If we have to come home we know when. PetMonitorVIGI has saved us thousands of dollars and makes me feel so comforted. Please get PetMonitorVIGI if your animal suffers from SA it will help you so much.

i’m a new dog mom and so leaving for work everyday stressed me out!!
i LOVE watching my pup while i’m gone and it gives me such peace of mind to know she’s okay. so easy to connect and literally works from anywhere as long as you’ve got good wifi for the device you use as the camera (if it needs wifi). i use my ipad and just set it up!
i also love the talkback feature. they truly thought of everything.

PetMonitorVIGI is awesome. I used to use a baby monitor app to keep an eye on my dogs, but the picture quality wasn't good and sometimes it would act hinky. The only thing PetMonitorVIGI is missing is a light so that I don't have to leave a light on the whole time I'm gone. The other app either turned the screen on or turned the flash on to eliminate the room (I don't know which) but overall PetMonitorVIGI is awesome. It gives me piece of mind when I'm out of the house for extended periods.

I have had PetMonitorVIGI now for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it! I did have a bit of trouble figuring out why I couldn’t talk to my pets on it. But that was an easy fix I just had to turn my microphone on. It really does work great! I’m definitely happy with my purchase of PetMonitorVIGI and highly recommend it. It is so nice to be able to see what my doggies are doing while I’m at work. Thanks creators!

I downloaded PetMonitorVIGI on my cell and cannot get past the screens to create an account! I’ve emailed twice for help and have heard nothing. I’d love to use PetMonitorVIGI , as it sounded like a great idea for us to use with our new puppy. But as it stands right now, all I’ve got is a cute purple icon with a puppy on it and the same three screens that do nothing.
I wouldn’t waste your five bucks😡

I can’t say enough good about PetMonitorVIGI!
We used it while on vacation with our dog who had to be left in the room for awhile. It was so great to be able to see our guy, and have alerts for noise or movement. The ability to talk to our dog, and calm him if necessary was a wonderful feature! This really gave us peace of mind that our dog was safe and not bothering neighboring rooms with excessive noise!
Picture is sooo clear! We had NO problems using PetMonitorVIGI on our cell phones and IPad!

New puppy parents here of a Mini Dachshund who lives to be near us, a wonderful little dude. However we were mildly freaking out knowing that we might actually ya know maybe go out to a movie, or run errands together on a Saturday like we used to do. This little app worked well, created him up (he is crated at night and sleeps 8 hours) left the house and we could check on him, tap to talk to say hi. He was still a bit whiny but would quiet down when we said hey. We all survived this initial foray into greater independence.

One of our Bichon girls passed away after spending 13 years together. Now her sister has such extreme separation anxiety every time we need to go out. Desperate for a way to help her, I looked for a system that I would be able to watch her when we tried to go out. I found Pet Monitor and am so happy I did. I’ve been able to gradually step out of the house for small increments of time, gradually increasing the time she is alone. By watching her through the Pet Moniter App, I can see when her anxiety starts to raise by watching her and listening to her breathing. I come back into the house before she panics. It has helped greatly and we are able to be away longer. I love that I can watch her from any location far from home. It is comforting to know she is ok. PetMonitorVIGI has given me true peace of mind. It is very easy to set up and is quite user friendly. Their customer service is amazing too. I highly recommend PetMonitorVIGI!

My dog has separation anxiety and I wanted to know if he barks and cries the whole time I am out or not. I used old Iphone 6 as pet camera at home. I get to check on him frequently instead of being nervous and rushing home. I tried and old Ipad mini and iphone 6S but were not able to download PetMonitorVIGI on them. It doesn’t require to be connected to the same wifi network, It doesn’t drain the battery of the monitor phone and it works in the background.

We recently moved and were going to leave our dog alone in our new home for the first time. He is a fairly recent rescue and we were concerned about him. We decided to try a Pet Monitor and found PetMonitorVIGI. Boy am I glad we did! It is super easy to use and my husband and I can monitor and speak to our dog from wherever we are. We sent an email when we had some difficulty getting my husband's phone to connect to PetMonitorVIGI and heard back immediately with the fix. This is the best $3.99 I have spent in a very long time!

This is literally the best appstore purchase i’ve ever made. We’re going out of town for thanksgiving and leaving our kitties at home while someone comes to feed them. I set it up so i can see them lay on the bed like they usually do and have been checking on them ever since we left. They’re so confused on where our voice is coming from but seeing their little heads perk up when they hear my voice is the best feeling ever. Idk why I didn’t get PetMonitorVIGI sooner.

PetMonitorVIGI works amazingly well! On Mother’s Day our family wanted to go out to lunch with my mother-in-law who has cancer, but we have a new rescue dog who I didn’t feel comfortable leaving alone. Then, because of finding PetMonitorVIGI, we were able to go out with no worries and keep an eye on the pooches while we were gone. Today, I got an alert and noticed the teenagers had left the front door open so I was able to call and let them know to close it. I hope PetMonitorVIGI keeps running just the way it is because it’s given me such peace of mind and I wouldn’t change one thing about it. A big thanks to the developers!

I have used PetMonitorVIGI for a year or more & I LOVE it! My dog has mild separation anxiety, but is not destructive, as many dogs are with SA. But, sometime he whimpers when I leave. Then, the whimpers May grow into crying and escalate into loud howling. If it gets to howling, the neighbors also “ howl” & complain. (I have nice neighbors, but the loud howling bothers them.)

PetMonitorVIGI has been a lifesaver. I can leave my dog in the apartment while I go to the gym or run a quick errand & watch him. If I have to be gone several hours, I have to use doggy day care. But with monitoring, he may get better. He has extended the time he can stay alone.

Just downloaded 15 minutes ago and am already IN LOVE WITH PetMonitorVIGI!! I adopted a 7 year old bulldog a few months ago after losing my Emotional Support Dog nearly a year ago now. My new baby suddenly developed seizures about a week ago and having PetMonitorVIGI is allowing me to watch over my precious girl all of the time now. I had ordered an actual camera last week and PetMonitorVIGI couldn’t stop crashing and I had to return the camera. I’m currently using my iPad in conjunction with my phone and I ordered my Apple Watch to go with PetMonitorVIGI too. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PetMonitorVIGI!! My baby is safe now and my heart is happy💜💜💜

I am “that” parent. I’ve relocated a year ago to another state and I’ve lost my support system. My job is planning on sending me on a tour of the U.S. to visit our facilities to become familiar face to face with everyone. I’ve postponed it. This year it’s going to be inevitable. Postponed because I’ve never left my pet children with ANYONE besides my family. I’m testing PetMonitorVIGI out and this may be one peace of mind to drop in and make sure my kids are safe. If I could just get this on the walker, I’m solid! Great idea love PetMonitorVIGI !! I would have gladly paid for it per device. I would love to see an online portal I could invite family and such. For a subscription would be fine.

Since it’s most recent updates, I have been able to monitor my pet from several devices. Stays connected until you disconnect. Makes you feel safe and secure that you can keep an eye on your loved pets and not worry while your away from home. Not only watches your pet , but also doubles as a surveillance camera. I highly recommend the Pet Monitor VIGI to everyone that has animals and wants that security to always know your pets are ok.
