French Dictionary Thesaurus Reviews

This is a good go to app if you are looking for words you don’t know. It has good explanations on different meanings and different uses. It also has verb conjugations which I find very helpful. But the biggest short coming of FrenchDictionaryThesaurus is that many frequently used verbs are not in this dictionary. For example: s’assoir (to sit down) is not here. Pretty much every day I encounter a verb I could not find here. So to improve FrenchDictionaryThesaurus, please have the complete set of frequently used verbs added to FrenchDictionaryThesaurus.

FrenchDictionaryThesaurus could be better if it had written pronunciations. I'm trying to write down French words but it's pointless if you read how it's supposed to be pronounced.

I bought the free version. I liked FrenchDictionaryThesaurus a lot do I decided to pay for the ad-free version. Payment went through fine but still with ads. Deleted, reinstalled, shut down the iPhone and restated it, still with ads. Maybe they should not offer an ad-free version

Love the multiple definitions, contexts, and sources. Pronunciation is clear, quick and helpful. But the English translation appears only inconsistently and unpredictably for some reason, which makes it useless for me. I see no way of controlling that. Too bad.

I love it but there is one feature that I’d like to see implemented, the application should be accessible within other applications, for example when reading an e-book, users should be able to have access to the application by clicking on a word then the option ‘share’ and the application’s name will come up.

This is a very good app, but it would be 100% better if the drop-down conjugation tables were at the top of each page. Instead you always have to scroll down to some random point in the middle of the page to find it. 99% of why I use FrenchDictionaryThesaurus is to look up conjugations.

Great app! It has everything needed including English translations for the words and conjugation charts for verbs! The translations are simple and easy to understand too! Plus FrenchDictionaryThesaurus is free, which is really amazing considering all the useful things you can find in FrenchDictionaryThesaurus !

for free it’s uncroyable! I better check that with my cool French dictionary app. So much added info for each entry it is awesome.

Gives both an English translation and definition in french, great for learning! I use it while I'm reading to reference!

Easy to use and with all grammar / conjugation info for each word.

Both on examples in French and English; also the pronunciation (the toughest part in learning French.

But the soft keyboard mapping is weird.

For someone who is learning French or who need to improve his French, I absolutely recommend this Dictionary!!

Much better than I thought when I got FrenchDictionaryThesaurus , so helpful to understand a word.

As the title says. I got this for free and yet i find every word i look for and find less than half in the robert-collins i spent $14 on. Save your money and get this one

Often when I look up a word, it is part of a phrase, which changes the meaning. This gives you all uses of the word and phrases. Super helpful.

So far this has surpassed my expectations. I look forward to continus use as j'apprends à parler français
