Like others, I’ve really enjoyed the way you can sort and organize your collection of games with AreaX. It’s really easy for me to keep track of my collection and games I may want to get in the future. And there is such a vast variety of games to sift through. One suggestion I have (and I don’t know how possible it is to implement) is maybe adding a feature where users can add to the game database, using a template with required game information and having the requests reviewed by the developer team. If there already is one, I don’t know where to look, because I haven’t seen such an option in AreaX ’s menu or settings configuration. I personally think it could be a helpful option because sometimes I notice that a game I have is not in the database and either I have to wait for it to be added by an unknown date or I don’t see it represented at all. I understand there could be complications with such a feature, but it’d be great if the team can at least consider it (or to point out where to find it if it’s already being implemented). Thank you for your hard work!

Área X is a video gamer’s dream resource. This application not only allows you to look up the catalog from the NES era to today’s generation but also upcoming games, top rated games, and maybe most importantly to some users the ability to manage your game collection and gaming history in a number ways. Where other great game database applications such as Sort It allow you to manage your inventory in multiple ways Area X allows users to do so more creatively. Users can not only do the basics such as create a catalog and a wishlist but here you can create game of the year lists or favorite lists by way of game genres. For those invested in gaming scores and achievements the application allows the linking of XBLA and PSN scores and trophies. Most importantly the minimalist colorful design of AreaX allows users to easily navigate, manage and search when necessary. Área X is a must have reference for video game players whether casual or hardcore as it has almost everything for all types of users.

AreaX is incredible and is the best option iv seen so far on how track your games, games progress, game wishlists and backlog. The problem that keeps it from becoming perfect is that it does not have a widget to view upcoming video game wishlist date releases more quickly like it’s competitors offer. The other problem is that it does not have a way to connect with a Mac computer. Being able to view AreaX and interact with it on Mac computer would help with connecting all main devices. If the developer can add these two items that would be perfect.

The gorgeous UI and ease of use make AreaX a joy for any gamer for any console. The ability to make lists for favourites, games of the year, and completed games makes the need for creating lists obsolete. A must for any hardcore gamer!

One thing I'm hoping for is the ability to view other people's lists and collections for ideas and Games of the Year comparisons: hoping this is added soon!

AreaX is almost exactly what I was looking for. It is a really great way of tracking upcoming games and it’s almost a perfect way to track your collection easily, but the games cover art doesn’t show up when I look at games in my collection. I wouldn’t care that much but they aren’t labeled with names below so I can’t tell which games I have easily without clicking on them. If this ever gets fixed I would definitely give this a full 5 stars. Overall everything else is good except for this one major flaw.

AreaX is very well conceived. It provides everything you could want to know about a game, many types of organization tools, as well as a wide variety of customization options for AreaX itself. I contacted them to add a few games I couldn’t find on there and they responded immediately and added them as soon as I asked.

One of the only apps with a good amount of features to track my games and upcoming releases.

I do have 3 UI suggestions.

For the game icons, I think you should avoid stretching the image as much as possible, it makes AreaX look significantly less professional. Imo, cutting off a section of the icon image, or making the icons a square or take up less space is better than stretching it out to fit the standard rectangular size.

I also feel like toning down the amount of animations a bit would make it a little more user friendly.

Some of the icons on the homepage are also missing shadows.

This is the best app for keeping up with new releases, the interface is the best I’ve seen of its genre, very smooth no bugs that I’ve noticed and it even allows you to monitor your wishlist like changes to release dates etc. If you want to know the latest games out and upcoming releases without the hassle of searching online this is AreaX to get.

AreaX is a Gamers dream and I love it.. I have one recommendation and if possible I would like to see Prices and Sales.. it would be great to create a wishlist and get notifications with games on sale.. hopefully I see it one day.. great job and keep up the good work 👍🏼.. Thank You

It’s really user friendly, but I wish I had a log/diary option for games I’m playing so I can track how many hours I put into each game. Honestly, I am coming from StoryGraph, a better Goodreads, and hoping for the video game equivalent of that app. I haven’t really been able to find it, but AreaX is a good one nonetheless.

Before I begin the Pros with AreaX are apparent, for PlayStation and PC game completionists AreaX is very useful.

The Cons are that the Home Screen is just one big advertisement, tracking certain things down can be difficult and the connectivity to your profiles is a little finicky.

Really happy that AreaX is available at Phone stores to use it for tracking games , upcoming ,release ,rating and more.
I'm searching for long time to find such as this kind of App . I think this is the only App in store doing like this with games . Thanks team .

I’ve looked at many and this is the best app to track games by far. Both from a UI and functional standpoint.

Sadly, it lacks a backup function. Would love to be able to export but it’s not something they offer. I know everything is backed up On the cloud, but it would be awesome if we can manually back up our list locally

Excellent app! My only wish is to allow the sorting feature on your PSN trophies to be by games by last played. So you don’t have to scroll through all the games you’ve already platinumed to get to your game in progress. Hopefully this will be added!

Very creative UI, great support, and I was impressed at how soon after games and release dates were announced at E3 that they were added to AreaX. Nice!

Was loving AreaX until it unexpectedly kicked me out after the update and now I can’t link my account to AreaX again to track achievements. I’ve tried probably 25 times over the course of the last 4 days and still can’t get back on.

I really like AreaX . The team behind it has done a great job. But for some reason, it won’t let me connect my steam at all. I’ve tried many a time and it just won’t work.

I really like AreaX and it works great on the go. I wish there was a Facebook link so you can share and compare with friends.

It would be nice if you could add a feature that integrates and shows the upcoming games calendar in the iOS calendar app.
