For one, the brands expect you to pay for their product in order to post with no guarantees of a compensation for the post. Secondly, It’s been weeks since ordering my product for the post and at this point, I’m just going to return them (if I can) because this whole thing was a waste of time. I will say, it was my fault for buying into TRIBEInfluencer and investing before doing thorough research. Please friends don’t fall into the trap of TRIBEInfluencer!!!

How about you go to an Apple store, buy an iPhone with your own money, take a photo of the iPhone and then contact Apple to see if they want to pay you for the photo.
Do you think you’ll ever get a collaboration with Apple by doing that? Nah, I didn’t think so.
We’ll, Tribe wants you to go and buy products, take photos and hope that you get chosen. You don’t get any money upfront to pay for products, so good luck in getting chosen.
Talk about scams! This is one of the worst out there.

I loved TRIBEInfluencer so much, I got two campaigns on it and have one currently pending acceptance. The only thing is I did the update and now my account is not accessible. I cant get in my account at all. I’ve tried everything and when I try to login with Facebook it made a whole new account that has nothing save and I cannot link my Instagram account to this new account because it says it’s taken. I tried resetting my password at least fifty times and I never get the reset email. I’m just so sad, this was my favorite app and now I can’t use it and no one is able to help me.

Influencers are expected to pay for items the brand wants advertised and then they don't even accept your submissions so you never get payed and they don't even tell you why. Brands should be required to be more specific on what kind of influencer they are looking for and also what their budget is. You end up wasting a lot of time and money making posts that never get accepted and They don't provide any feedback to you. There is no way to communicate with the brand. You are completely separated from them. It's a total scam to get you to buy stuff from their brands!!!

I use many influencer platforms but this is by far the worst I’ve ever tried. Every campaign has a ridiculously long list of requirements & rules for your deliverables, which would be fine if they didn’t ask you to create that content BEFORE you’ve even been accepted to the campaign. You need to create content for the brand just to APPLY to be considered. Not to mention none of the brands even bothers to state how much they’re paying for the campaign. So you basically have to go work for these brands before you even know if they would accept you to the campaign or how much they would pay. I’m not sure how any influencer would even consider wasting their time with this, unless they have a tiny following. But even in that case DONT waste your time like that. This is not normal in this industry.

After applying to multiple campaigns, taking time out of my day to take the photos & submit them.. I randomly get an email stating I have too many ‘ghost’ followers. Not that I have control over who follows me. I have over 100,000 followers & constant activity on my page. Likes, comments, DM’s, etc. Plenty of traffic on my page lol. App is a joke. Don’t download it. You also have to buy the products & you have no clue if you will get picked. It’s kind of like a knock of ambassador program. I’ve never had to pay a company that wants to work with me. Beware!

I signed up with TRIBEInfluencer thinking it would be of some benefit to me and the brands I use, do business with etc. After texting these guys and speaking with someone. I wasn’t able to finalize any of my questions or get any answers to my questions. That’s fine with me I can find a better option for myself. Please do not waste your time with TRIBEInfluencer. I want my information removed from your system or I will contact Apple and file a complaint about your business practices. Do not bother to contact me either!

TRIBEInfluencer is a total waste of time. First all is abusurd that you need to buy the product for promotioning as normally Brands send to me the products. Second this brands never respond to you in TRIBEInfluencer. A total scammy app to capture your infos. Tribe don’t call your self app for social influence because you are not. Also the products are absolutely absurdly price for what they’re are worth! I am social influences I don’t pay for anything not even my gym membership. They offer to me. That what brands do! So Tribe do ur homework before wasting and scamming people.

Total waste of time, never get chosen ñ, they expect you to take a picture as you will post it on your social media, (I’m assuming buying the product) they always denying your requests and what happened to me last “I have fake followers” we all do fakes followers everywhere and they expected me to delete them one by one in an account that has 270k+ followers... I do not recommend TRIBEInfluencer, it’s the only one I have worked with that makes you waste your time. Totally disappointed.

I would be more into TRIBEInfluencer if there was a way for influencers to sign up and perhaps tag content they already have featuring brands they use organically, then the brands have the option to license our existing content for their own use or hire us to create more content from there. I do not believe in doing unpaid spec work and wasting time and money. Super unprofessional and the brands will get crap content from this. Users will be frustrated and poorly compensated. Just...nope.

The concept is there but, the execution between the team being short staffed and brands not responding or taking weeks, sometimes months to approve content is unacceptable. The whole “create content and “hope” to be approved idea is garbage and frankly not worth anyones time or energy

I just did my first collaboration and got $150! It actually worked and was pretty seamless. Payment was super fast and TRIBEInfluencer was pretty intuitive.

I love working with Tribe.
Yes it s true you buy your own products ( not all the time though sometimes you can submit sample pics) , but it is also promoting the product you love and u recommend to your followers which is totally fine with us.
If you send them high quality picture and what they ask for, you are definitely approved.
Their payment is also amazing and customer service is very nice and helpful.
As a influencer for over 6 years on IG I highly recommend them.

I’ve been working on TRIBE for a little over a year! I’ve done 40+ collabs and I can’t rave about them enough! You get paid within 7 days [the fastest I’ve seen] Tribe communicates very well, with reminders and emails! I love getting notifications that brands view my profile and then you get put to the next stage and it’s exhilarating! A lot of people complain that you “have to buy the product” and it’s a scam. It definitely is not, completely read the brief and expectations from the brand, do mock shots when they are allowed and be true to your audience and only promote product you would use. Just remember to not take things personally and keep submitting and trying! It took me 25+ submission before I got my first YES! Then they just came rolling in! I recommend Tribe to every Influencer that actually wants to make money and really promote good products!

Some of the campaigns want you to buy their products BUT.... a big BUT some don’t! I just sold a picture for 100 pounds, and I am from the US and I didn’t need to buy the product it was just an app I had to promote. Just do your homework!!

Heaps of brands in TRIBEInfluencer I recognize and they change all the time. You get to choose the ones you want to submit to, create the content and set your own fee. You’re then paid out your full fee if selected, once you post! Pretty easy.

If you have at least 3,000 followers on IG you’re going to get a lot of deals and they move quick and you can get paid quick. It’s a lot of mock shots needed for collabs but you can just use old content you’ve already created! Great app, can’t recommend this more.

I really love TRIBEInfluencer! I've been using it for 1 year and I already did at least 10 campaign, I always received good products with good quality, it is really easy to used it and the communication with brand is more easy☺️ the payment is via PayPal and takes like 1 or 2 days after you do the post! I really recommend TRIBEInfluencer for influencers!

I have been using Tribe for about a year now and I have loved the whole experience so far. I can easily get in touch with the brands I want to work with and create content for. They pay me super fast, and they are reliable. TRIBEInfluencer is very user friendly also. So far it has been a great experience with them, I’ve been able to create a residual income for my family and I love it.

I would give this application no stars if I could! I applied to the program & was accepted. After running a loop giveaway, I was suddenly blocked from using due to ghost followers, which is what their explanation insinuates! I have never paid for engagement/likes, however, TRIBEInfluencer will not allow me to apply for campaigns and no one is responding to emails with any further support or explanation. Use Takumi instead! It’s much better.

Don’t understand why do white people in the United States join their website? You join and your asked to install their application if you’re not going to allow anyone in the United States to participate in any campaigns why let us register?

It’s been frustrating. Every time I find a campaign I like I go through everything I read it. When I hit submit it tells me the conversion chart from pounds to USD but then it does not allow me to submit a value so I’m guessing that means I’m not allowed to apply.

To make it even more fun they like to email me excessively even though I can’t apply for anything!!

TRIBEInfluencer is a way to trap you into buying products (that you’ve probably never heard of) and make posts that will most likely never equate to any form of compensation or reward for you. There are lots of other influencer marketing companies doing it correctly. Don’t waste your time with this one.
