Unfortunately, my experience with this app has been less than favorable. I have found other tracker-type apps which are far more informative and interactive than this one...and free to boot.
I gave it two stars only because it works, that is, it hasn’t crashed or refused to open, etc., but that’s about as good as it gets. Being an app I paid for, I would have expected far more. It’s basically no better than the free version. However, I will give it kudos for doing what the creators wanted and expected the app to do, it got me to send them money. My advise is not be be similarly fooled.

The maps cannot be zoomed, but I see that the developer has addressed that in response to other posts and is supposed to be included in a future update. The radar map doesn’t cover enough area. For instance, you cannot see the southern Gulf of Mexico / Yucatán peninsula or south and east of Cuba where hurricane paths often go. The app is user friendly and looks promising if these issues are resolved.

I don’t live in an area of hurricanes but much of my family, and my friends, do and I like to keep up on the current events with them. This is a great app, especially on iPhone.
On iPad, it looks great but appears to be missing a few features that I see on my iPhone. For example, on iOS, I can view the cone projection of a storm but on iPad, unless I’m not seeing it, I can’t find that option. While not a huge deal, it is a common feature of storm tracking and is a big confusioning and frustrating for a user to expect all the features of one version of the app on one device to not be there on the same version of the app but on a different screen.
All that said, I highly recommend this app.
