Persona is pretty polished. It's basically just a nice front end to The Movie Database. It definitely feels like a native iOS application, so that's a plus. As far as the functionality is concerned there are no tools for contributing content. Although that might be a limitation of the api, so I can't really blame Persona.
For the million times you KNOW you have seen that actor (but in WHAT?!) Persona is great. I also use it to find more movies or shows with actors I liked, to stop arguments with friends over who exactly we saw in what, or to learn surprising things- like that actor also writes screenplays or does voices for animated movies.
