There’s another recent review complaining about poor accuracy and I would have to agree. The forecast is not even remotely close to being in the ballpark. Why would meteoblueweathermaps select Celsius as the default unit (location in the USA, BTW) when in meteoblueweathermaps , but shows Fahrenheit when on the web page? And more to the point, why can’t I, as a savvy iPhone user, be able to EASILY find the setting or place to change it without havin... I have been an IT Professional for 35+ years with most of that time spent developing enterprise level software/websites. If 1 hour data is not available for a particular location, then tell the user that when trying to make that selection, instead of telling the user that they are looking at 1 hou... meteoblueweathermaps had always been great, until it started glitching with ads as a paid subscriber. I emailed meteoblueweathermaps support team about it, and they apologized and told me to delete and re-download meteoblueweathermaps . I did and that solved the problem for a short while, but not... Show more permanently. Months later, I tried again and still it is showing ads despite continuously being a paid subscriber. I deleted and downloaded meteoblueweathermaps yet again, and this time it’s made no difference. Please fix this problem, Meteoblue.

The interface and design of meteoblueweathermaps are lovely and well thought out--but sadly it is fairly consistently wrong for my area (SF Bay Area).

I'll continue to subscribe in hopes that the model will improve for my area since it's a nominal fee...but based on past performance I'm not holding my breath. Happy it works well for so many others--just wish it worked for me!

I purchased a subscription so I didn’t have ads interfering all the time. A past review in 2021 said there was a problem and the response in July 2021 said they were aware of the problem and were working on a fix. I guess they never got it fixed!!! Overall, meteoblueweathermaps is quite good. Very detailed weather information, the maps are super fun and there’s a ton of them. I spend way too much time browsing them.

I have two suggestions: one is a bug fix, the other is a feature. The bug is that on my device, when looking at the det... Show more ailed/hourly forecast and I swipe two days forward or backward, meteoblueweathermaps stretches beyond the width of the screen. This means that I can’t see the temperature or time (left side) or full rain spot (right side). The suggestion that I have is to include weather/storm warnings somewhere. In meteoblueweathermaps you can see that there’s going to be high winds or ice precipitation, but having the NWS warning/alert in addition would be very nice.

Now that WU has released a downgrade of an “upgraded”, I was looking for something that would fill its shoes. Meteoblue seems to be it.

Meteoblue has easy at-a-glance access information, nice dense charts of wether data (that can be saved to look at when at a remote site), and a something that is crucial for my commutes: a status screen widget (if you pay the low advert removal subscription price).

I do have a few feature requests: (1) It’d be lovely to see what the widget looks like before paying the subscription so that I can tell if it presents useful information before spending money, and (2) your online website has a great forecast for astronomers that would be brilliant to include as a tab in meteoblueweathermaps.

I found meteoblueweathermaps extremely accurate and helpful for trip planning in Patagonia, in Chamonix, and in my home state of California. Radar in California is the only shortcoming - the base layer is kind of busy and the radar does not take advantage of high-resolution data from NEXRAD. As meteoblueweathermaps grows in complexity a guide for how to interpret the data may be helpful.

I like meteoblueweathermaps and the data it has, but everything is presented in C, km/h, and mm. Useless in the US because it doesn’t allow me to change the data format. You can do it on their web, but not in meteoblueweathermaps , at least not in the free version.

Presented in an easy to digest format, more data than you get from other apps. Highly recommended.

meteoblueweathermaps has the most accurate information about weather in Ukraine

This is the best app that I have found that has worldwide coverage, a great user interface, and useful animated maps for cloud, radar and wind that load fast. The wind map is especially beautiful while useful.

Excellent display of weather wherever you are, or plan to go.
The widget is a nice feature to check your local forecast.

If you’re tired of the ‘forecasts’ and just want the raw data.... this is literally what you want. Couldn’t ask for more here. Does what it should. I love the detailed charts the most.

This is BY FAR the most accurate forecast for my location vs the five other popular apps I compared it to. So much info, so many data points, and a lot of features that are unique. If you have one weather that is NOT the. Built-in Apple option, this should be your choice.

Of the many weather apps, this is the best I found for remote areas and outdoors activity. Accurate predictions in the Alps in Europe, the Carpathian range in Romania, etc. Most weather apps only cover big cities, and don’t have parks, mountains and small villages. Here you have almost any geograph... Show more ic point you can name.
Presentation is also quite clear and convenient - highly recommended for hiking, biking, etc.

I’m not a meteorologist, but I know some math and science. meteoblueweathermaps actually allows you to see confidence and compare weather models in an interface that is intuitive and clear. meteoblueweathermaps proves to me that you don’t have to dumb down weather to make it digestible.

The forecasts seem to be accurate enough, but current data is always off, sometimes way off. Absolutely unable to use this information for micro forecasting.

I’m unable to switch from 3 hr forecast to hourly forecast. Try the button and changing in settings. Tired on iPhone, iPad, iOS 11 and 12. Any advice?

The Meteo app has excellent info and graphs. It provides a wealth of information. One comment is it could use a tool icon on the start page to allow you to swap units of measurement. Besides that it is awesome.

I love the intuitive nature of meteoblueweathermaps, and the way it presents weather info. I noticed other apps are trying to copy their format and layout.

Simple, ergonomic, intuitive and easy to use. Problem fo me is when changing from metric to imperial units, only the forecast updates, the maps always display km/hr and deg C.

I love "computer animation model for wind" in meteoblueweathermaps, and I've never seen this before in other weather apps. Keep it up 👍🏻

This is a great weather app with a clean and easy to read layout. I only wish it had an Apple Watch complication.
