Got the camera bases on reviews. Can not log in after app says account is established. Error 999 - whatever that means. Won’t take my password. Tried on iPhone and Android. Same issue. So so disappointed. Ready to return if not able to set up

IOS 11.4 doesn’t work.. please fix it

What a piece of crap app this is.

Everything about it is crap.

It uses “accounts” that must be unique per device/phone.

It can’t talk to cameras by IP, only by the nickname of a camera that has internet access. Useless if you keep your cameras secure by not allowing them Internet access

HiKam and the camera are not at all working. !!!

We bought this camera and downloaded HiKam for set up. After following the instructions for the password, all it said was password format error multiple times. Both of us tried multiple options and followed specifications each time to no avail. Disappointing to not even be able to complete set up.

Update: Upon downloading the update, I could complete set up and login. Works fine now!

I have had this camera for over a year and it has always worked great, right up to the most recent app update. Now I can’t log in. HiKam has prompted me to create a new registration but each time I try it gives me an error. Why can’t I just open HiKam and have the camera work? Now I have a perfectly good camera but no way to access it! Please fix!

Have had this camera since March and has only worked for a couple hours. Downloaded the update and camera stopped working. Camera will not even reset when I use the reset button. Complete waste of money so far .

App keeps forgetting my camera. Have had issues from day one. Have never been able to really use it with the exception of a few months it did cooperate.

After I updated HiKam , every time I tried to watch a live feed from the cams at my house the iPad app crashes.

I already tried to uninstall and reinstall twice. In my iPhone (with the old version of HiKam ) I have no problem watching the live feed.

I’m using an iPad Pro 9.7” and iOS 12.1

Please fix this annoying problem ASAP.

You guys need to completely re-develop HiKam . The UI of HiKam is so obsolete. I recognize this kind of UI from iPhone 4 maybe. The navigation within HiKam is not intuitive nor straight forward. If you really looking forward to promote the camera, then do a good job on HiKam .

HiKam worked out of the box, but then I got a new phone and had to re-find the camera. Which it could not do. It found the camera as a new camera, but every option for adding it (scan, manual and so forth) ended in “password error”. I had never changed the password from what was on the back sticker.

So I threw away the camera and won’t repurchase. Typical of the Internet of things. Insecure, awkward, and HiKam is junk. I’m holding the camera in my hand, HiKam sees it and still won’t log onto it. And it all goes through some server someplace I don’t control. No. No. No.

Was working fine until release 10.3.2. Now does not work at all.

I already have a password on my phone/tablet.
It doesn't remember the password. Why ?
If security is your concern please let us decide if the password should be input every time or not.

I bought the camera that goes with HiKam, overall I like the camera a lot. However, HiKam not so much. I am having issues with transmitting remotely live feed on my phone, it only plays a few seconds and then stops I have to shut HiKam and start it again, but it does the same thing again over and over. It records fine, but when I try to play the recordings, it takes a really long time to play and most the time it can’t connect to the server to play them appropriately. It is almost impossible to fast forward or go backwards on the recordings, it doesn’t seem to be working appropriately, I’d like to see a better app to really enjoy the camera to keep track of what’s going on at my place while I’m away. Like I said, the camera works fine, but HiKam not so much.

This is a great app and does what it advertises . Just one question. I always was able to have multiple users watch the same camera but now only one person a time can. If someone tries to check a camera then it kicks the other one off. Anyone know why?

Was looking for a wireless, outdoor security camera and this one fit the bill. Was an easy install, and hooked up to my internet easily and immediately. Works well at night as well.
My ONLY issue is there apparently no sensitivity to the motion sensor, so in other words, every time a bird lands in my driveway I get notified (and I don't want to turn off the notifications or is basically useless to me).
