the new update is horrible. i really wasn’t a fan of the first cosmetic update, but the whole gems/store thing was easy to overlook and just not participate in so i just let it be and kept playing. then they did ANOTHER cosmetic update that added new pieces, changed the entire look of the game, and added a piece rotator THAT COSTS GEMS. being able to rotate pieces is such a cop out. that was the whole challenge of the game was to get points with what you already had to work with. i have been playing this game for nearly 3 years, but i don’t know that i will be anymore.

i sincerely wish this update had been optional and that i could go back to the way the game looked 2 updates ago before they screwed it up.

Love this game. My go to when I have a few minutes to waste. But…as others have stated, the ads can be extremely annoying. I get it. It’s free. There’s going to be ads. Unless you’re fortunate enough to get some good pieces and be able to play it out for awhile, you spend more time watching the same, loud, annoying ads over and over again than you do actually playing the game.

Now all of a sudden, as if the other ads weren’t bad enough, you’ve stuck in political ads. Some of us play these games to get away from all of that for awhile. These are all from the same political party as well. I’m not going to get political myself, but, if you feel as though you must sell yourself out, you could at least be fair and show ads from the other side as well. That being said, games should not be the place for these ads in the first place. If it wasn’t for these reasons, I would probably give it 5 stars instead of only 1.

I’ve been playing this game for almost five years. I’ve been playing so long that new high scores take months to breach. That said this whole rebrand of the game is absolute garbage. We went from a flat and simple look to a clutter mess of a game designed by a six year old. I also HATE the addition of diamonds because it makes the game easier for people, which is something this game was not designed for, and it’s insane how developers dumb games down to try and make a quick buck nowadays. Why not go back to making a solid game without the leeching micro-transactions? The old game was great, this version makes me want to finally delete this game and move on to a game that isn’t begging for money.

This game is amazing. My only problem with it is the fact that you guys upgraded it. Another game is now similar to this one because when you guys upgrade it it’s a bigger board and the pieces float apart when you pick them up. That’s very annoying. The older version was much better, and I can assure you that every single person I have talked with agrees. The new version has blocks that slip out and a board that is huge and it’s very annoying- I don’t like it. Before the game was upgraded the version was AMAZING! I would give it all of the stars I could. Now, I hate playing that game, it just reminds me of the exact same app game as another app game 100! Block game. THEY ARE IDENTICAL NOW! Before you guys upgraded it the blocks were smaller, they didn’t split, and life was great. Now, it’s the exact same thing as another app just more variety of colors. Your app used to be the one everyone came to instead of a similar app. Why did we come to it? Because your blocks used to not plot out and the board size wasn’t huge. BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. You may keep it the way it is but at least add the old version AS A CHOICE ON THE THEME SECTION! You guys have upgraded it and made it confusing, and everyone I know who owns it wishes they didn’t upgrade it and had the game the way it always was and loved. Thank you for your time I hope you do this for everyone.

I don’t like having quite so many ads to wait through, but if they varied more, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Things that make me close or delete a game related to ads: 1) When it takes more time to wait through a boring ad than it takes to play the game itself; 2) When the same too-long ad is repeated multiple times in a row; 3) When the ad itself is loud and annoying, even if it IS only 4 seconds long. In the last instance, I swear that Mercari app’s ad is so raucous that I shut off the game whenever I see it. I know it will be appearing several more times in a row, and I am really tired of it. I’m ready to opt out of this game because the time spent having to deal with ads is NOT worth the game itself.

I am very addicted to this game however I wish it was more random when it comes to predictability. When you start to fill up the board it never fails that what you need never shows up! Depending on what is ‘dealt’ to you is determined by what you put down first. Please make it more random rather than predictable! It would definitely be more fun and worthy of five stars! ALSO when the blocks changed different colors a few days ago that’s when the game totally changed! It’s almost impossible to get a score of anywhere near 1000 no matter what type of strategy I use! I’m almost ready to delete the entire app bc there’s no point in trying!

okay love this game! i’ve been playing it for as long as i can remember. my ONLY issue with it is that there’s so many ads and you can’t rid of them unless you buy a package deal of coins and ad free play for TEN dollars. i don’t need all the coins, i personally play the game without them. i don’t feel ten dollars is a reasonable price for ad free play. all i want is to get rid of them!!! they drive me crazy and make the game or my outside audio glitch. please please please find a fix

I play this game a lot, as something mildly mentally stimulating that also keeps my hands busy. It’s really fun, and sometimes I have a hard time putting it down! The ads aren’t too distracting, and the color options are pretty.

BUT, I’ve noticed multiple times where it has wiped my high score back to zero, which is discouraging. At one point it was around 54,000 or so, and now that’s long gone because… well, I’m not sure why. Maybe it reset with an update? Even then, having it happen once would be fine but it’s done this several more times since! It’s really not a huge deal but I wish it wouldn’t do that.

Also very frustrating. It can be almost impossible sometimes to raise your high score. The blocks are definitely not random because they will give you 5 in a row of the same thing you don’t need to fill up your spaces when you are getting close to raising high score. You have to really keep the board as clear as you can and be very aware of next block to make sure you can place it. It is a good feeling to beat the game but it takes patience.

This is one of the versions of 1010 — a game that seems to be sweeping through the high schools. I saw it on my DD’s phone, played it and downloaded this version. I wondered why I was not getting high scores
So I performed a test. I had my DD’s BFF play the game ( on her game she is playing a 2000+ score). Per her this is a harder version of the game
Things I have noticed
1. The more you play the harder it gets. I think the game starts you off on an easy track but the more you play and the better you Get the harder it makes air for you. In other words it doesn’t tell you when you have moved up a level.
2 This game will knows what piece you need and will deliberately not give it to you.
Only once have I come near my high score. Most of the time I am no where (and I mean that literally) my high score.
However it makes you think and notice how you put the pieces in

I play everyday and really enjoy it. Even when you are being extremely careful you mess up. The blue blocks cause a lot of trouble and the large green square. I dread when the advertisements come and you have to wait a certain amount of time to get started again and sometimes you cannot get out of the advertisement at all. One day I’ll probably get feed up and quit playing. Life is to short to have stuff pushed at you without your consent. Great game , bad advertisements.

I totally love this game. I can play it for hours and not get tired of it. In this version it seems like the ads are not quite so annoying. In the one I was using before, I had to completely close it about every 5 turns and re-open. It says something about the game itself that I was willing to do that. One problem on the iPad: resting fingers hit the ads too easily.

BLOCK PIZZLE is AMAZING! I’ve only got a couple things that I suggest. First of all; I think there should be some new blocks to make it more hard! Second; I think you should be able to make friends and compete with them and earn extra coins for winning and maybe a couple for losing. Third; Maybe if you level up the more you have to fill in to get a row! I really love this game and DEFINETLY suggest BLOCK PUZZLE, and it’s great for playing when your bored or maybe you just want to! I hope I made you a little interested about BLOCK PUZZLE and when the next rate pops up, I’ll be there to tell all about the update! :D

My husband and I are absolutely obsessed with the game so the reason I’m giving it three stars is one because the ads are a little too much but mainly because you don’t get an undo button or if I’m gonna watch add I would rather get another turn our two for free after watching the ads so many times. There isn’t an option to buy the game to bypass the ads.

This game is the one game I play from a day to day basis, because it allows you to think deeply about where to place your next block, and it really takes your mind off things.
In fact, during one of my classes, one of my friends toook my iPad to try and beat my high score... Which he did, and afterwards, I spent a while to beat that high score...

In the end, this game is fun, calming, and sometimes can b competitive.

So many free games I've downloaded have way too many ads and most of those ads either slow the games down or make the games crash! This games opens fast and the moves work right away. If they can do it, why can't the others? Google even asks me why I'm reporting the Walt Disney ad, but none of the options they provide as an answer let me indicate that it stops the game. Thanks to this company for not ruining this game!

This game is hands down one of the best puzzle games that I have ever played it’s so addicting and while the ads bother me they’re worth it for such an amazing FREE game the only thing that bother me though is the annoying sound at the game when you run out of moves please change that it’s so annoying that I when I know I’m about to run out of moves I put the volume on my phone all the way down just so I don’t have to hear that sound but other than that it’s such an amazing and addicting game :)

Once you start playing it's hard to stop, you want to break your previous high score. It takes a little bit of play time to begin to understand where to place your pieces. My current high score is 5042, I'll beat that sooner or later.

If you lose you'll end up facing a plethora of ads that help the author pay for the game. I like the game and will be sending in my hard earned money to help the author and to stop those ads. Fun game so try it out!!

This game is so fun. Got it right when it first came out. Got hooked for a while then thought I needed to take a break. A year or so went by and I stumbled across it again in BlockPuzzle100 store. Thought I could give it another go. It has been 3 weeks since then and I have put on average 16 hours into this game every day. I have quit my job, stopped bathing, eating and haven't been outside of my room in days. The satisfaction from clearing lines trying to beat my previous high score takes precedent over all of my other needs in life.

This is fun, I love to get into a zone with this. You can play haphazardly just to fill up the grid or you can really focus on making the best plays every time. You can listen to TV, movies, or music if you can't do just one thing at a time. It works as a not too deep distraction when I am stressed. Simple and silly, just perfect. I'm impressed whenever anyone gets over 2000 on this.

Time goes by so fast when playing and it is very addictive, I play while “watching” my fav news programs and also when my favorite baseball team is playing or beating the tar out of a bother lower ranked team, the more you play the higher the score the more time goes by, that you are that much more careful, it’s great, not a waste of time don’t have to buy coins etc to get further it is 100% free
