Extremely Frustrating App

It hurts me to write this review because I love Catholic Answers, but this app might be the most frustrating and annoying app I have ever used.
Downloaded episodes are impossible to erase - they linger in the “downloaded” section even after swiping to erase. The swiping-to-erase function is also horrible as it needs to be a perfect line. A slightly-diagonal swipe across the screen will not delete the download.
It did not used to be like this. It’s been over 4 months since this update was released and over 2 months since I brought it to their attention.

There’s still a lot wrong with this app. The filter settings aren't retained - I have to set them each time.
Search doesn't work well. I'd like to search only in a particular podcast but instead get thousands of matches from the whole site. Not usable.
The same large ad with a plea to donate appears over and over. To get to older broadcasts I have to literally scroll 30 times on my phone.
Some glitches

The app generally works well. The other day it showed no new shows for the past 10 days and no upcoming shows. I searched the web to see if the show had been cancelled and found new episodes. So I deleted the app and reinstalled. This caused it to start downloading new shows again. Also, sometimes the past episodes don't start. It is irritating to have to keep trying again and again and again. I think it may be timing out because my internet is slow? I love the fact that you can move slightly forward and back in case you miss something. I think it is 15 seconds?
