Would give 10 stars if I could!

I used Pepperplate for many years, but for some time the support staff had stopped responding. I looked for another option, and found Copy Me That. Wow, what a difference! It does all I want/need AND when I send questions or suggestions, the developer responds promptly, sometimes in less than an hour. That is amazing service.

I never upgrade to paid apps - partly because I’m too cheap, and partly because usually I can find free versions. But within less than a week of using CMT, I paid for the lifetime premium membership, and it’s already been worth every dime. The scaling option is perfect, and the ability to save and reuse menus with all the recipes (especially my 20+ Thanksgiving recipes) is amazing. And I decided I want to support CopyMeThatrecipemanager and future improvements in it!

As others have noted, some small tweaks could be made (automatically picking up on total prep time or having a designated space for that, for example), but Tine is so responsive, I have no doubt improvements will continue.

Mostly in love

I have been using CopyMeThatrecipemanager daily for over a year now and i love all its features and its very easy to understand how to get the most from copymethat. There is one thing i dislike and it will likely be the reason i eventually move to another program instead, and that is this problem in the shopping list... although i can add as many new categories as i want, i can NOT delete the default categories, nor change their names. The program will always list my shopping items under the default categories regardless. I would like my food list to be categorized under the store names i created, rather than the general tag of dairy, meat, spice etc. what is the point of being able to add categories if the program wont recognize them and list my items there?

One feature i like the most is the red border of the page display itself and the large blocks of photo recipes listed in a grid. As a visually oriented person i find copymethat a pleasure for my eyes and finding inspiration for cooking is easy with the program. It runs exceptionally well on my ipad and even works in landscape mode.

Total game changer

I am autistic and have ADHD and executive dysfunction is a big struggle for me, especially when it comes to making dinner. I discovered Copy Me That and it has been a total game changer. I loved it so much I immediately got a premium membership.

It eliminates busy distracting website pages and makes it easy for me to see the ingredients and directions. I love being able to visually organize my recipes by collection and search for them (I had been using Pinterest but it wasn’t super effective for me personally). I also love being able to put recipes in my queue or on the calendar so I know what I’m making for the week. CopyMeThatrecipemanager works exactly the same as the website so it was easy for me to navigate. The new feature that allows you to archive recipes is helpful because I can clear up some clutter without deleting recipes.

I’ve told everyone I know about Copy Me That. Dinner wouldn’t happen with it in my house!

One of My All-time Favorite Apps

I absolutely love the “Copy Me That” app. I use it nearly every week and have told many many friends about it. Why do I like it? Well first of all I find a lot of recipes on line. Instead of having to waste paper and print them out...now I just copy them using CopyMeThatrecipemanager. Then, I always have the picture, the ingredients and the directions at my fingertips. Also the screen does not close while I am cooking. Unlike any other screen in my cell phone. Also I can tap “add to shopping list”. When I scroll down the shopping list and see the recipe calls for milk or flour or eggs, things I already have, I can just delete them. Because I can select which days I want to cook various recipes and menu plan this way, I spend a lot less money!!! Get it! Try it. I think you will like it. Oh yes, one more thing...I needed support in the early days of using CopyMeThatrecipemanager. To my surprise I got it readily! Now to me, that counts for a lot.

Most Useful “Cooking” Tool

Have been using Copy Me That in mobile and web browser as well as CopyMeThatrecipemanager for years. I never follow recipes, but I constantly reference recipes I’ve saved which had a unique combination of spices or ingredients. When in doubt of what to make, I open CopyMeThatrecipemanager and checkout saved recipes to help me. Saves correctly most of the time — even if it’s not a recipe, you can edit to add ingredients. My common use case is finding some tea blend I like and I save the list of ingredients to make it as home from scratch. Lifesaver is a bit of a stretch (lol), but it’s an essential part of my spontaneous cooking ideas. So simple, no fuss, no ads.. just picture, ingredients and steps.

I am so very glad to see that CopyMeThatrecipemanager is back I Apple Store! It was entirely wrong that it was taken down due to a few food bloggers complaining it promotes “copyright infringement” of their recipes.
IT DOESN’T!
What this tool DOES DO is help us save a recipe and be able to find the original URL so long as it still exists. This allows those of us who loved something about a specific recipe to return to it. Without it, we’d give up and look up a new recipe instead of finding an older one that is now hard to find (the folly of the ever changing site ranking and discoverability).

Thank you guys for keeping it going! I would be crushed if it goes away.

Love This App!

I absolutely love CopyMeThatrecipemanager! I use CopyMeThatrecipemanager every day, it is extremely useful as well as a time saver. I can now get recipes without having to print them out and take them home to try. Also it’s very easy to delete the recipe if you don’t like it. I have been able to put my own recipes on there as well, which has enabled me to throw away my 3 inch folder of collected recipes. Half of the recipes I have not tried, because after printing them, I forgot to write down what was needed, so just collected another sheet of paper. With CopyMeThatrecipemanager I can easily see what I need from the store on CopyMeThatrecipemanager ’s shopping list, even if I forgot my printed shopping list. CopyMeThatrecipemanager does so many things! Another benefit is how organized it makes you, which save you a ton of time! CopyMeThatrecipemanager is such a great thing, I can’t see anything that needs improving. WINNER WINNER chicken dinner! This is really life changing for me, thank you Copy Me That!!!

Get this app! Hands down the best recipe organizer.

I cannot recommend CopyMeThatrecipemanager enough. I started with the free version and used it for two weeks. I wanted to buy the premium version on the first day, it is that good. I purchased the premium version three days ago and I am so happy with it. You cannot go wrong with CopyMeThatrecipemanager. It is now my go-to app for recipe organization.

I have used CopyMeThatrecipemanager to save recipes from Facebook, Pinterest ,
Food Network, and several blogs. I am a huge Pinterest recipe collector - and I actually try out many too! But I don't like that it is a multi-step process to get to the actual recipe...each and every time. I started using a Copy Me That to capture the actual recipes from my favorite recipe boards. It is awesome!

One cool thing I found is that it copies more than just recipes. I was reading a blog that had great instructions for making biscuit dough and freezing it for baking later. It had great instructions but the recipe was a link to another page. I wanted the how-to instructions as well as the recipe. I tried to export is using the Copy Me That button the same as I would for a recipe. It worked! CopyMeThatrecipemanager copied the narration as step-by-step instructions. So cool! I saved it as a freezer tutorial, nicely organized and easy to read.

I am so glad that CopyMeThatrecipemanager creator is also an end user. Nicely done!

Pretty good, just a few things missing

I think it’s a great app that is definitely going to replace Pepperplate for me (have been looking for a decent replacement for a while because it was getting buggier and buggier, probably not supported anymore). This looks like it will do the trick. The browser button works well, and the tags are useful.
I just think that there is a lot they can do to make CopyMeThatrecipemanager a standalone version of the system. Right now you can’t pay for premium in CopyMeThatrecipemanager ; instead, you have to go to the browser and login to the website. Also, the recipe doesn’t include times for things. Also you have to do double line breaks between instructions to make them numbered or bullets. The formatting was much more simple/straightforward on Pepperplate, but I actually wanted to be able to pay for something that would continue to be supported and improved. Looks like this one is going to fit that bill.

Best recipe organizer

I love CopyMeThatrecipemanager! I’ve been using it since it came out. I chose to get premium membership (one time fee) to help with development and take advantage of extra features. I like that I can enter my own recipes or copy from a website. I can modify a recipe, rate it for future reference, scale a recipe up or down, organize recipes in my own collections. The collections make it easier to find recipes if you have a large library. There are also community recipes to search through. I like to keep have my recipes written in grams (weight of ingredient), not volume (cups/teaspoons) because it makes scaling easier. Who has a ⅙ teaspoon or ⅕ cup?

I’m so glad to have CopyMeThatrecipemanager. I rarely open a cookbook now, since I’ve copied the most used recipes into CopyMeThatrecipemanager .

Powerful Little App

I don't normally write reviews for apps, but I am making an exception for Copy Me That because it is everything I have been looking for in a recipe app for years. I love how I can customize my recipes with tags to be able to sort with my own categories. I especially love how open ended the menu planning is—most meal planning apps and calendars only allow for three or four meals a day; I really like that with CopyMeThatrecipemanager I can plan as many meals and snacks in a day as I want. I am really close to purchasing the lifetime membership.

The minor complaint I have is the browser button in my app doesn't work. I would like to be able to open my linked recipes in Safari. From what I've seen over the last few months, the browser button does not open Safari. I don't know if this is a glitch or intentional.

I would also love if developers would integrate a printer friendly version of the menu planner (that writes out the day's meals in a simple list instead of the thumbnail view that is the current default). I would like to be able to print off the week's menu plan on a single sheet of paper to have up in my kitchen where it's always visible.

Despite these minor things, CopyMeThatrecipemanager is pretty near perfectly what I want in a meal planning and recipe organizing app. Highly recommend!

Better than a cookbook.

Best app I ever used. I bought the premium upgrade for just a little money and got much more than I expected. Any recipe, even new ones not yet in cookbooks, searched for can be found and downloaded into CopyMeThatrecipemanager . You can also easily add your own personal family recipes. It is easy to take photos of your finished recipes. And print them out when desired. I used CopyMeThatrecipemanager to plan my weekly menu, print out my shopping list and used it when cooking. I haven’t used a cook book since getting CopyMeThatrecipemanager. Yet I have all online recipes on hand many from cookbooks or recipe web sites. And the best thing is, whenever I go visit out of town my recipes come with me. I can also share my recipes with family and friends. If I could give it 10 stare, I would. Great, great, great.

My favorite app!

No lie! I am so happy it’s back in CopyMeThatrecipemanager Store. I actually held back getting a new phone just so I wouldn’t lose CopyMeThatrecipemanager . I have used every part of CopyMeThatrecipemanager and love it. There is a lifetime premium membership option that is actually reasonable unlike the others. They don’t collect your data. Their customer service is outstanding. I rarely leave a review, but I am jumping for joy now I see this back in the store.

If you guys could ever integrate an option for barcode scanning for items on the grocery list, that would seriously raise the bar for all other apps. There was an abandoned grocery list app that did it years ago. Haven’t seen a decent one since. I would pay an extra fee to have that feature.

The Bomb!

CMT is CopyMeThatrecipemanager I would have created if I knew how to do that! CMT helps me create camping/trailer trip menu plans and shopping lists during the summer as well as all the scheduled Holiday menus throughout the year. When CopyMeThatrecipemanager was getting push back and restricted, I contacted Apple App Support (not an easy task!) to plead for restrictions to be removed because of my reliance on CopyMeThatrecipemanager. I figured it was doomed but thankfully Apple did the right thing (I’m sure this had little to do with my efforts) - possibly influenced by all CMT’s loyal followers’ requests to leave it alone! CMT’s creator is not only one smart cookie but also hands-on and super responsive to comments & questions. So glad to have CopyMeThatrecipemanager in my Life's Tool Box - makes me look so smart, creative & organized! Thx Tine!

Love This App

After at least 2 years using CopyMeThatrecipemanager nearly every day, I still gush about it to friends and family. It is a great organizational tool and it’s easy to use. Plus, I always have it with me on my phone! I like the meal planner and it’s flexibility to change the plan around. The shopping list is a life saver. My kids and I shared recipes between us and got ideas from CopyMeThatrecipemanager community.

Now that I’ve upgraded to premium, the extra feature of creating a master list keeps retyping to a minimum, all I have to do is click the standard items and they go to my shopping list. I even use the premium feature of ‘multiple lists’ to keep a list of what’s in the freezer. Give it a try, and I’m sure you’ll be happy with it even before investing in the premium features.

Really excellent app

I have been using "Copy me that" for several years now after it was recommended by my son. I love and am amazed at how it can pick a recipe out of any article. I appreciate the ease I can add notes or modify recipes to suit my tastes. Several months ago I paid for a premium lifetime membership. Not because I thought I wanted the extra features, but because I wanted to support the developers. Turns out I really like the meal planning feature. It is super easy to use, whether I am selecting a recipe I have on CopyMeThatrecipemanager or entering a dish from elsewhere. I tried the shopping list, but that didn’t work well for me, but is not important to me. Overall a great app that I use every day. I am very glad it is back in CopyMeThatrecipemanager Store.

Thrilled this is back!!

Never realized this was removed from the Apple App Store until I got a new phone and it wouldn’t transfer over. I use CopyMeThatrecipemanager so much more often than I realized, and while I could still use it via the chrome trick…I’m just so happy CopyMeThatrecipemanager is back! Definitely won’t take this for granted. Its easy interface and search option within CopyMeThatrecipemanager makes organizing recipes a breeze, and definitely makes it fun to ‘tag’ recipes you come across for future experimentation.

I’ve got over 300 apps on my phone, and constantly gets asked to leave reviews while using them. I also just click out of it, but for Copy Me That? Came to search for CopyMeThatrecipemanager just so I can leave a 5 star review!!

LOVE this app!

I completely love CopyMeThatrecipemanager! In fact, when it was unavailable for a little while, I put off buying a new IPad until I could be absolutely sure that I would still have it.
It has helped me immensely to get organized with my recipes, try new ones, keep notes about each one, share them with others. I love the shopping list and meal plan. I’m on keto so it became easy for me to use substitutions in some of the recipes and record how well they worked.
Finally, when I accidentally starred a bunch of them, I wrote to the support email and the actual Founder of Copy Me That responded. She personally took care of it and unstarred them for me!
I just love, love, love CopyMeThatrecipemanager. Just get it. You won’t be sorry.

Best recipe app!

This is my favorite app, and I recommend it to all of my friends and family! It pulls recipes from the web into CopyMeThatrecipemanager with ease and allows you to easily customize everything. It’s also simple to create recipes from scratch. Now I can share our recipes with our grown children. I have used CopyMeThatrecipemanager for several years, and I love it!

I just purchased the lifetime membership today to support the developer(s), and I love the meal planning feature and incorporating the shopping cart into it. It’s easy to use and visually appealing. I forgot to bring my printed list to the store, so I used CopyMeThatrecipemanager on my phone which allowed me to check items as I put them into my cart. I’m so grateful for CopyMeThatrecipemanager!!!

Perfect!

I’ve been using CopyMeThatrecipemanager (and the website) daily for several years now. I plan all my meals and grocery lists using it and I could not be happier. I tell anyone who will listen about it because I love it so much. I used to save all my recipes on Pinterest but with hundreds of recipes, it becomes extremely difficult to sift through all that to find what I need. CMT makes finding whatever I’m looking for seamless! I can’t imagine using anything else. Would love to see an option to add in nutritional information (Tine has told me this is on the ever so long to-do list tho!). I have no complaints though, I think it could only get better from here! 😊 Thank you for such a wonderful app!

Most used app on my phone

I had CopyMeThatrecipemanager before it was dropped by CopyMeThatrecipemanager Store, and the developer was very responsive to my inquiry at that time. I was ecstatic to see if is BACK baby! I use it every day on my phone, tablet and even added the CMT button to my laptop to copy recipes there as well. Today I have decided to upgrade to the lifetime version for the extra features and to show support for the developer. Would be great to be able to copy recipes on my phone in my browser-of-choice (Duck Duck Go) but I haven’t figured out how to add the button there yet. Still not a dealbreaker. Thanks for developing and providing support for such a great quality recipe app! 💚🍽

Digging this App.

So far I am truly liking CopyMeThatrecipemanager. I like being able to edit and do things my way. Now I’m still learning but so far this seems to be a good app. I’ll let you know if it changes for good or bad. But one thing I really want to comment on is the creators way of letting you find out whether you like CopyMeThatrecipemanager or not without hammering you with ads and pushing you to buy with constant interruptions. In fact, I don’t think there’s been a single pop-up and I had to search to find their in purchase prices. I have many times deleted apps before I even could decide if they were any good or not because of the constant harassing ads. I’m more than happy to pay for a good app, heck they deserve to make money too, but I won’t be harassed and CopyMeThatrecipemanager creators are the ones who lose when I toss one in the trash. No pressure here, and I went and paid for just that reason alone, I usually wait until I’ve used CopyMeThatrecipemanager longer. But give this a chance, seems all around good to.

This App Is Impressive

I have been using RecipeBox for a couple of years. Their update in the beginning of the year has made CopyMeThatrecipemanager virtually unusable. I decided to give CopyMeThatrecipemanager a try and I am pretty happy with it so far. I have hundreds of recipes that would have been nice to import but RecipeBox does not offer an export option. I was pleased to see that CopyMeThatrecipemanager does which shows confidence in their product. It will take me a lot of hours to manually enter in my recipes but I think it will be worth it. I will continue to use both Apps, one as a backup, as updates can create havoc until fixed. It's always the case that a developer can decide to drop keeping up with IOS yearly new versions. Apple doesn’t seem to care about the stress they put on developers to make their apps compatible with every revision. Honestly, I don't need anymore emojis or to have features that further complicate using my devices. We all should ask them for a time out.

BEST APP in the App Store!!! Web clipper, Recipe file, Menus, Shopping

If you want a recipe app, stop here! I have been trying for years with desktop programs and have never found a more complete app in my life. Not only is it a recipe app but as a web clipper it leaves One Note on the side of the road in a crumpled heap!

You can surf the web for recipes and clip them in a couple seconds and there is no garbage in your recipe. All ads and irrelevant content is removed.

You can edit the recipe, adding sub headers into the recipe and ingredient list, click for fractions, and even change the picture or add your own after you’ve made the recipe!

I love the amount of thought and thoroughness that has gone into CopyMeThatrecipemanager and I happily paid for the extra features to be added to CopyMeThatrecipemanager . You do not need to pay to really enjoy CopyMeThatrecipemanager but, even though I never pay for apps, I couldn’t go a few months without looking to pay for CopyMeThatrecipemanager. I don’t even use some of the features because I’m lazy and/or busy clipping recipes and cooking! There is even a member share site and you can add friends who can see your recipes. I wish I had more time to explain how good CopyMeThatrecipemanager is but it’s free, please try it and enjoy!
