Split Web Browser Reviews

I was excited about this browser at first. Then I realized that it would crash every time I attempted to open the bookmarks. It could be an issue with iOS 10 incompatibility I guess. But whatever, it's pretty much useless without bookmarking capabilities. Needs an update!

Good app, but way too finicky. I was trying to get rid of the address bar, so I swiped up, but i scrolled down as well. And when i went back up, i couldn’t get all the way to the top because the address bar was in the way, and i guess it just became a static item, because now it wouldn’t go away. Please fix this. Im not redownloading until this is fixed.

I'm a teacher who uses the same four websites everyday, throughout the day. I need all four from minute to minute as I teach. This allows me to easily switch between websites. You can work side by side if you want but I find it easier toggle from full screen back down to split screen. Being able to do this with one click is what wins me over. I can see all four sites and then instantly work in one and then return to the others. The interface is also more aesthetically pleasing and smoother than the other side-by-side app I tried.

With that said, tapping the bookmark button will immediately crash SplitWebBrowser every time. Since I don't need this for browsing and use the same sites every time, its not a problem for me. When I close SplitWebBrowser and open it again the same sites are already there where I left off.

For teachers or anyone presenting, this would a great way to have your website on one side and then show backchannel conversations on the other. Or for anyone have your email on one side all day long while you browse.

Not perfect but I'm hopeful an update will improve it.

Have been looking for split screen on iOS even though it’s not split screen as it says split browser .. works for me

I would add more features to read passwords similar to safari

It has some bugs but it does exactly what I was looking for. It’s as close as it gets to multitasking with multiple tabs on a computer.

We can just be lazy and do multiple things on every screen at the same time

This split screen browser works great! It would have been perfect if it could auto fill usernames and passwords as well as resize itself back as we go to one page to another on a website. Other than that, it does it job!

Very good split screen, but does crash sometime when you hit the bookmark tab but when you reopen it does back to what you had open. I have two personal weather stations and like seeing the data side by side!

Hi: SplitWebBrowser is super helpful for us( iPhone users) who periodically experience fewer app choice and a lack of variety! Like the guy in the Kingsford Charcoal Commercial says- “genius”!

I use multiple tabs a lot- so being able to research and see the items on one screen is super helpful. Great app!

I really like SplitWebBrowser. It does what it suppose to. Nothing fancy or confusing. Keep up the good work. About time someone gets it right. Thanks. 5 Stars in my book.

I can search multiple websites and it would've been great if i could open text app at the same time

I'be always hated working on my phone because on the web I could never have multiple tabs displaying at once. With this browser I can have 2 displaying at once which is a great advantage. Obviously it's not going to compare to a computer but it's good enough for a phone screen.

For browsing different site at the same time, this is just what I needed. I hope we can have the one for accessing different apps someday

Well i do find it useful when im searching the web but im just a little unsatisfied that i cant use an app with it thats what my whole purpose of getting it and trying it out was so if you could somehow someway make it so i can have a choice in which apps i can use thatd be great thank you

In these days of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and everyone wanting to either control the information sources or what the facts are, SplitWebBrowser is a fine way of comparing the same information from different sources and perspectives. This capability alone makes the split screen ideal, for serious study and investigation (maybe four or five screens within screens next - I love the concept).

I love SplitWebBrowser, but I do wish that it worked for your home screen too so that you could have your notes on one side and then have something else on the other.

People talk about some crashes. But it never occurred on my ipad air 2 so far. I watched a videos on one side and surfed through the web on the other side and they went smoothly~ I like SplitWebBrowser. It just simply has what you need.

Using this to view network streams from both of my WiFi security cameras on a spare iPhone. Works great, better than having to use my computer when I just want a quick glance. The cameras are set up to stream to any web browser for live viewing (plus a dedicated recorder of course), so SplitWebBrowser and its ability to run dual web pages is exactly what I needed.

SplitWebBrowser is very good. Love when I can see two screens at once to compare.

Problem is they don't show apps from the Ipad.

Hopefully they will change and update SplitWebBrowser to show ipad apps etc.
