Like what the most of the others say, it crashes multiple times. Also when saving videos to the phone you have to exit on and off SO many times. It has a good start it just REALLY needs improvement.

Waste of a dollar. Crashes every time that it is “Creating video”. On both iPhone and iPad, yes I restarted both and both are up to date.

Opened GifVid to “Create” a Video from a GIF. Despite authorizing to open the Album the Apps just keep “Loading Up...” and nothing happens.
Also tried to send the Gif in the Album to GifVid but doesn’t shoes neither
Waste of time and money.

I typically would've given this 5 stars, but the past couple days when I go to create a video to gif, as soon as it says "create" I'll click that and GifVid will crash. I've already reset my phone. Once it stops crashing, I'll be happy to change my review.

Seems to work fine, up until you want to save it. It always crashes.

This is a great app for managing and transforming short gifs and videos. However, I have a 12 second gif GifVid seems to be unable to process. I can assume it can only manage gifs under 10 seconds in length.

Needs to accommodate IOS 13... worked perfect up until then

I love GifVid, but it’s not working after latest iOS update. It crashes when you try to save image. Please fix.

I’m not sure why GifVid is rated so low compared to the other gif makers. This is the only one I’ve ran into so far that doesn’t demand you pay for a subscription to get anything but basic features. Minus one star for still having ads, even though I paid a buck.

Thinks all the gifs on my phone are static images, so it won’t convert them... only works using the action button from inside the photos app

I used it and I’ve been using it but today I use it and it’s been really buggy and weird but it’s a good app

I’m positive that everyone who’s downloaded GifVid is either trying to create a gif with a video or vice versa. Well, GifVid does that easily. Idk what other features you would need for GifVid, all that you need is either a video or a gif and from there you can adjust the speed and number of loops in a video made with a gif.

I’m a simple boy. I have to make videos on mobile because pc editors are too confusing and crazy expensive for me. When I’m working on a project, the last thing I want to do is spend ages getting a gif ready for a video. That’s probably my favorite thing about GifVid, it literally only takes a minute to make a gif/video.

Love it for the price and usage

At first I thought I had been duped, a waste of a hard earned dollar, as GifVid gave me an error every time I tried to convert a gif I had saved off tumblr into my iCloud.

Before, in order to convert them to video I had to jump through hoops, but now we have ourselves the ideal solution - the this app Photos app extension. Select any animated gif in your camera roll and tap the share icon. Go all the way to the right and where it says “save as video” swipe the switch on and it’ll turn green. Now the this app icon will appear at the end of the share options row and you’ll get what you paid for, right in your photos app.

Once I figured that out I am a very happy customer. I have a feeling some of the bad reviews on GifVid are due to similar issues, or user error. Ignore them!

I was so nervous to get this at first, and downloaded so many other “GIF to VIDEO” apps that didn’t work. So frustrating. I took a gamble with this one and it works out soooo easily!! 10/10

I use video making apps and have been wanting animated backgrounds forever! This is the first app that has done what it is supposed to well.

GifVid saved me. It converted gif files that were not converting to MP4 for me. Highly suggest it if anyone else is having issues with Procreate’s gif to MP4 conversion!!!

I’ve been searching for months for an app to do something as simple as convert and loop a gif to be able to post to Instagram. This is the one. So worth the investment. User-friendly, does what it says. Videos are top-notch quality. (Tip: to save to your phone, click the “share” icon farthest to the left on the bottom of your screen.)
