Before the update it was slow and glitchy with an add every 2 seconds. The weather alerts barely worked. It would alert me that there were “severe storms” and it would be clear sky’s all day. Last week we had a Tropical Storm pass through and there was a tornado right down the road from me and no alert from WAVYWeather. Now, after the update, I can’t even get WAVYWeather to open. 10/10 would not recommend.
You can’t check the weather without ads constantly popping up! I can understand they are trying to pay for WAVYWeather but those who invested their money in advertising with Wavy should get their money back. Everyone will delete WAVYWeather because it’s so bad!
Can’t locate seven day forecast. From hero to zero. Cmon wavy, we’re in need of an accurate forecast. Not just Norfolk’s.

I understand the idea of ads to help make money to cover the cost of maintaining WAVYWeather .. but this is absurd. This thing is almost useless since every time I need to use it, the constant ads make it very frustrating and sometimes bog down WAVYWeather to a point where it hangs up and I have to close it and try again. Ridiculous.
Previous versions had ONE pop up ad. Now, when there’s a snow emergency, I just closed SIX pop ups in row so can’t even read warnings! I have just deleted WAVYWeather and went out of my way to warn others: don’t waste your time until it’s fixed.
This new app needs to go back. Can’t tell the difference between a severe thunderstorm watch/warning, tornado watch/warning. All is red, which makes it harder to tell the difference between a severe thunderstorm watch and a tornado warning. Severe thunderstorm watch/warnings used to be in yellow. Change it back.
Entirely too many adds for Climate Makers,Window World, and Mr. Roger’s Windows that you’re forced to swipe upwards in order to move deeper into WAVYWeather . After awhile I literally started to feel like I was opening actual windows which is what I’d rather do to figure out what the weathers like as opposed to using WAVYWeather one second longer!!

This is probably one of the top 3 apps I ever downloaded. I couldn’t even read a weather alert because of constant pop up adds. It’s free, I get it, adds are expected but if I can’t get through a sentence without a pop up I’m not going to use it.
I wouldn’t recommend WAVYWeather to anyone, and it really doesn’t even deserve a single star.

You can't use WAVYWeather for more than 2 seconds before you are slammed with full screen ads that constantly pop back up and take over with every little action or button you press in WAVYWeather ! Sure, probably the most accurate forecast but this is ridiculous and just hateful to your users. Not even the Weather Channel's app is this rude which I am going back to using.
This would be an excellent app if it wasn’t for the constant ad pop ups. Yes, I get it’s ad supported however I can barely get through one series of weather pages without the ads. Finally deleted it.
It says a low temp for the day of 42°. Since 12:01am the temp has been in the upper twenties to low thirties. It’s now 7:24am. When do you think you might change the low temp?

Nice app, but when you want to see a forecast you have to suffer through a commercial before you can see a weather forecast. Too intrusive to be of any use when you need a quick look at the weather.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think a local weather app could be the answer to all of my dreams. Could Bruce Radar ever be hotter. I live by WAVYWeather. There are days I do not think of getting out of bed without consulting the amazing, if not miraculous forecast this gem of information can provide. It is as if they are tapped into the wisdom of the ages. I especially love the astrological forecasts as well. GO WAVY!!!
How about putting in the today dates along with the forecasts that would be cool!!!
