WFSB First Alert Weather Reviews

While this is a huge improvement over the WFSB news app, the data in the forecast varies depending on what view you select. I've noticed the technical, 3 day, and 7 day will often have vastly different information. Temperatures varying by as much as 8 degrees and rain vs partly cloudy are very different.

Would prefer green or optional radar background. It should all be on one page not 4

The ads are huge and constant. More distracting than relevant. Give us a paid option to turn off ads. Also give us the option to see multiple “card” locations on the home page at once to compare weather or just see what’s in another relevant area to us. You would think after being stagnant for 5 years you would have seen how other apps work and provide relevancy to its users. No one wants to stare at ads that take up 2/3’s of your screen. Add these features and my rating will go up.

I have this set to use Cellular data but it continues to try to connect to wifi and then won't open. I've deleted it and reinstalled a few times, next time I just won't reinstall...
A more detailed 3day forecast would be better than the tiny cut and paste graphic that just gives you the temps that is currently displayed. When I can open it, the info is great.

App is good but GPS location shows nearest major city not exact location.

Also, need a way to get rid of Ads, a paid subscription is more desirable !

I wanted to get the texts when the weather is going to be REALLY BAD. I like that I can take ch3 w/ me and it's literally just a click away.

Good app to have for approaching bad weather. Only thing is that I can never find the current and future dew points anywhere.

A solid app with good features. No drawbacks that I find, unlike the canned iPhone Weather Channel app. Fully recommended!

I love WFSBFirstAlertWeather. I check the weather all the time when I'm not watching Scot, Eric, Irene and Nicole. What a great morning crew to wake up to. I get a good laugh in everyday with them. For those naysayers, if you don't like them, find another news channel. There are plenty of boring ones out there.

This is my favorite app. Use it several times a day. Check for high and low temp daily for grandchildren's daily apparel. On a farm, check for heavy storms, to see if horses need to bring animals in. So many reasons to check radar daily. Thanks for the accurate forecasting.

WFSBFirstAlertWeather is so easy to use and so accurate, my wife and I refer to it when deciding whether to run the air conditioning or open some windows. I use it every day!

I love this ap. It's never "froze" on me and I like the format- the extended forecast and better yet, the technical discussion. I also love that the weather app is separate from the news one.

I now don't have to rush in the morning to hopefully catch the weather. I tune into WFSBFirstAlertWeather and can even see the radar. I miss seeing Scot, Mike and Mark's fun personality but I usually don't have time now to sit and watch the weather. Thank you!!

Functions are self-explanatory. Easy to use and understand. Nice bright colors make the screens appealing. Much nicer looking than Bruce Depriest.

Easy to use and full of all the weather and traffic information I need. The technical discussions are easier to read on WFSBFirstAlertWeather vs the main WFSB app.

I use this often. Love the closings, radar and traffic features as well as updated forecasts.
