Poorly written, buggy app

App does not work as Carrera describes. "Quick-start Racing" button makes you re-enter most of the racing info. Not really a "Quick" start. The "Performance Test" does not work (requests you to enter a circuit but does not list your entered circuits). The reason I purchased the app required "Carrera AppConnect" bluetooth connection component was for the advertised racing sounds and commentary. The app does not provide this feature. Carrera should be ashamed to sell (app is free but you have to buy the Carrera AppConnect device) such a poor feature that barely does what it is advertised to do. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
Old thinking in modern app

The idea behind the app is good. Extend and enhance the physical experience with an app. The execution is not close to what it could and should be.
- not intuitive: I have teenagers using it for a minute..then drop it cause its too much time to get through it
- bad response
- old design thinking
- introduces drivers that have not been created
- ..just too. Many things that are just not what any app nowadays should offer
This has gotta be revamped with not an overhaul, but a from scratch built. It can be the engagement extender for a physical game. Today, very disappointedly not anywhere near the potential :(

Older version announced driver leading race, lead changes etc. Sad to see an update eliminate one of the best features of an app especially when the overall improved design was good. It should not take this long to fix a small bug or add what customers are requesting. GET ER DONE
