Since your recent upgrade, (1) I cannot restore purchases. I’ve tried more than once now, and (2) it is unclear if it ever connected and worked on restoring them - looked like nothing happened. I have been paying monthly for a long time. But LogicGridPuzzles is showing only solved puzzles. (3) Also, LogicGridPuzzles has been incredibly difficult to open. Multiple times, it has frozen up and them closed without ever opening. (4) The first time it finally opened since the upgrade, it did not show the option to restore purchase. (5) I am about to cancel my subscription but am giving a little more time. But if I cancel it before you get to it, don’t come back and say I don’t have one. I did at the time I tried all this, and I’ve had one a few years by now.
(The rest is about the last upgrade debacle which did get addressed. I’m leaving it, though, since there have been upgrade problems more than once.)
Please get rid of the pop up scenario/story that you added recently. It is obnoxious and sometimes hangs up before it closes. Also, the entire puzzle doesn’t load as well and also hangs up when closing. It seems you relied on rookie programming all of a sudden to change a product that used to work fine.
I was enjoying this game until I ran into one puzzle having to do with chefs, dishes and restaurants. It did not take long to find the puzzle had a logic inconsistency. After fighting this for over 3 hours I came up with the solution they said was the answer but it violated statement #4 in their list of facts. I found the puzzles a lot of fun but having fought one puzzle whose solution did not match the facts and which I believe likely can have no true solution for over 3 hours, I find I have little desire to take on another puzzle. The developer in at least one response makes a strong statement on how they ensure the logical integrity of their puzzles but I can assure that they in at least one case did not insure that. Thus I hesitate to tackle another of their challenging puzzles lest I find I again will spend 3 hours on a puzzle that is unsolvable and will have to then look for a solution they say is correct but violates the stated facts.
I really like LogicGridPuzzles for a couple reasons. It has 7x7 grids which are hard to find within the logic puzzling community. I also enjoy the challenging level and the graphics. This being said, there are a couple user interface issues that ruin it for me. For one, when you select a correct answer, the other boxes in that row and column are automatically changed to wrong. This would be a useful feature, except when undoing the correct answer, the now “wrong” boxes do not automatically turn blank. This can be frustrating because I now have to go back and undo each one, causing more now “wrong” answers, and because I also now don’t know which X’s I put there previously. In addition, I wish there was a zoom feature, as it’s hard to click smaller boxes and mistaken clicks can easily mess up your game. All in all, I enjoyed playing this game and I think it was manufactured very thoughtfully. The puzzles were very intriguing and I think with just a couple improvements, this game could really beat out all others on the market!
LogicGridPuzzles is very good and works well, my only “complaint”, which is probably just me being… me, is that I really don’t like the percentage it shows you at the top that says like: 98% without hints or something, and it’s good for people who like to display that they’ve only used one hint or have used no hints, but I don’t like how it displays it on the “main screen”, it would be great if there was like a tab or something in LogicGridPuzzles that you can look at to see that sort of thing. That’s my only “negative” thing to say about LogicGridPuzzles, sometimes it’s a bit frustrating especially if you’ve completed a puzzle and it says something is wrong but for the life of you you cannot figure out what’s wrong and you really don’t want to have to use a hint. Wow, I have strong opinions on hints. Overall like I have said previously this is a very good app, works well, nothing wrong with it, I just have a irrational thing with the hint features. Thank you.
I love logic puzzles and I’ve tried all of the ones currently available in LogicGridPuzzles Store. This one is by far the best! It has a simple, non distracting interface; I like that the clues are displayed all at once in a list form (in some logic puzzle apps, the clues appear one at a time and that’s sluggish and annoying). It’s easy to cross off the clues you already solved. The puzzle grid is on a separate “page” but is easily accessible with a swipe up or swipe down. I’m still on the free version of LogicGridPuzzles and there are still many left to do at all different levels. The levels are challenging and fun. Once my free puzzles are solved, I’m going to subscribe to access more.
In short, if you love logic puzzles that are fun and challenging, and you like an attractive, intuitive, non distracting interface, you should down load LogicGridPuzzles. I’ve tried them all and I highly recommend this one to be your main logic puzzle app. It is truly the best one in the store!
I love these types of puzzles and always bought logic books/mags to do when I travel. I didn’t realize someone had created an app with these puzzles, until my husband suggested I look when I couldn’t find a book to purchase during a road trip. I really like how everything is displayed and that you can double tap a square to make it true and it will automatically mark the other boxes with x’s. I also like the “competitive” aspect - I find myself trying to finish the puzzle faster to get an “expert” rating. It would be cool to see what my time was compared to “the experts”. I’m not sure if that feature exists, as I haven’t had a chance to really explore LogicGridPuzzles . I’ve just been enjoying completing the puzzles!
I was soooo bad at these puzzles, and I wanted to improve. LogicGridPuzzles is very well done. No ads, which I love, and a bunch of free puzzles to start with, with 6 grades of difficulty. The online guide that describes strategies to solve these puzzles is excellent. I'm having a blast and getting much better. My only suggestion is that you should use something with a larger screen than your phone for the bigger puzzles - it's too easy to mark the wrong box, and even though there's an undo button, it's easy to get lost (it would be nice if there were a redo button, so you could be saved if you realize you've undone more steps than needed).
Honestly this is a fabulous game with a lot of replayability, whether it’s with purchased puzzles or just replaying your puzzles trying to get hint free and expert! Currently going for 100% expert on the first 100!
Just one complaint: what is the criteria for expert? I can’t seem to find a description or whatever that identifies expert solving vs just no hints, and if it’s a time based thing, I’d like to see a timer somewhere so I can see where I’m at (either counting down for added pressure or counting up to see what’s my PB to solve?)
Outside of that, this is an excellent game! The hints tend to make sense and help lead me but the puzzles are challenging enough that sometimes I just want to puzzle it out!
I’ve had LogicGridPuzzles for years and absolutely love it. I love logic puzzles but found issues with all types of other apps. This one works so seamlessly, the artwork is simple but cute, the design of LogicGridPuzzles is intuitive, no bugs, wide variety of choices depending on the challenge you want. Early on, I thought there was an issue with a puzzle and I emailed the devs- they were super prompt in their response, incredibly kind, and thoughtfully explained the scenario which helped me realize that there was no puzzle error (just error on my end lol). They were so nice and appreciated me reaching out anyway. I’ve gladly paid to expand my puzzle choices a couple times now.
Overall, I love it. I play it all the time. I’ve even bought an extra pack. But it does have too many of the easy ones and sometimes the clues could mean two different things and it is a little difficult to decipher.
One thing I like is the hint button. It really taught me how to play the game. I’m on my 3rd round this time and the last time the goal was no hints. This time, it is at least 50 experts. And having the hints the first time really helped me to learn how to do this better.
Overall if there were more hard levels and someone helped the go through the clues a little, this would be a perfect game.
The interface is simple enough so you can just play the logic puzzles. The no ads are really nice. There’s a limit of 100 free puzzles but you can pick any difficulty levels while they are free. The puzzles are written well. I think it’s very generous to give 100 free puzzles. I’ve had LogicGridPuzzles for a few weeks and played daily for the first two and still didn’t use all of my free games yet. But will definitely be purchasing more once I run out of the free puzzles. Greatly appreciate the developer for giving so many free puzzles to trial without adds and then giving the option to purchase more puzzles. I wish other “free” apps were like this because I can’t stand ads.
I love this game. It’s challenging but not stressful, I like to do a puzzle each morning to get my brain warmed up before work (though I have to be careful not to get carried away!) I also really appreciate the lack of ads, which is a rarity these days. The organization of the levels of difficulty makes it really easy to decide which puzzle I’m in the mood for, and the illustrations for each prompt is a really nice touch.
If I had to think of a suggestion to make it even better, it would be nice if there were stats available to see my average time, best time, etc. among the different difficulties.
Overall I respect that the dev team isn’t using the scammy practices used by so many others. The game speaks for itself, and I will definitely purchase the additional puzzle packs when I’ve completed the free ones.
I did a few of these puzzles early on in my college classes, but I never knew what they were called. I saw this game on an ad and I thought “oh i love those!”. I got it, ready to delete it because I assumed it would be overrun by ads like every other mobile game on the market, but there are absolutely 0 ads in this game. It’s enjoyable gameplay 100% of the time. Not to mention, the controls and layout of the game are very user friendly and very well thought out, everything is laid out for you to be focused and in your problem solving state of mind and not be distracted by poor controls. This game rocks! Definitely give it a shot if you like puzzles, you won’t find a better logic puzzle app on the market! Trust me ;)
Logic Puzzles are entertaining to begin with. Especially if the source you’re getting the puzzles from have 100 free puzzles, no ads, and unlimited hints that are provided if you must. There are absolutely no bugs, and the ‘Help’ system provided is very reliable, and useful. You may email the developers any time you have questions or concerns, plus they listen to opinions and recommendations of the players. If you have something to recommend, or would like to discuss removing something of the matter, the team will take your ideas into consideration and see what can be done. The ratings are almost 5 stars, where as other Logic Puzzle games barely reaching 3-4 stars. Again, highly recommended, that is, unless Logic Puzzles aren’t for you.
I fell in love with logic problems as a kid and rediscovered them. LogicGridPuzzles is very easy to use. Clues are clear, mastery levels range nicely from intro to VERY challenging. The features are very useful, so you can check for errors, erase one bad choice at a time, going back until you want to stop erasing, or just clear the whole thing and start over. The hints give just the amount of hint I want if I give in to the urge to get a hint. Great features to mark clues you want to mark for any reason, or strike through clues you no longer need. Just a very strong app. It took me a good long time to work through the free puzzles—then, for the first time ever in any app, I purchased more. I know the low price is worth it because the next batch will last me a long time. I go through 2 to 4 puzzles per week.
I LOVE how the hints tell you what logical move you should make next. Even as a massive fan of cross logic puzzles, I can occasionally get stuck on some of the hardest ones, but the hints in this game are 100% free (no ads, even!) and let you know what connection you missed! Especially helpful for people new to these puzzles as it tells you what you should be thinking about and every step along the way to solving it.
Sometimes the explanations are a bit hard to understand, but staring at it long enough has always ended with me figuring it out eventually and realizing what I missed. I sorely miss these hints when I play any other cross logic app, and the clean UI and great layout makes it even more satisfying to solve these!
6/5 stars, this is a perfectly done app
As a child, I loved doing puzzles like these and I actually bought several logic puzzle magazines to do in my free time. Being able to do these in my free time or to unwind before bed brings back a lot of great memories for me. These puzzles really do make you think— I really enjoy these puzzles and I feel a sense of achievement when I’ve finished them.
I had some difficulty with the wording of a clue and reached out to support because I thought it was some kind of error— turns out I’m just not that smart. Drew from the support team was so gracious, kind, and patient with me and I really appreciate their help in breaking down the wording for me. They didn’t have to be nice or personable, but they were! That really seals the deal for me. LogicGridPuzzles is not just any old app— it’s run by people who care and who love puzzles too.
I really like this game and the fact that you actually have to use logic to solve them, but there was just one puzzle that confused me. It was the weightlifting challenge I believe, and the first clue is that “Francisco lifts a weight that is 40 pounds lighter than the one Jeremy chose.” The next clue is that “The South African chose a weight that was somewhat heavier than the one Francisco chose,” which meant that both Jeremy and the south African had a weight that was slightly more heavy than Francisco. Is Jeremy the South African? No, I tried that and it didn’t work. How about Oliver? No, they are Dane or American. It isn’t Vincent either, I’m pretty sure he had a weight of 1,000 pounds. The only people who could be the South African is Jeremy or Oliver, and neither were correct. I don’t know if I’m just missing something, but this puzzle really didn’t make sense to me. Other than that this game fun and I could play it for hours.
Then I highly recommend this one for the following reasons:
1) I like how they start off fairly simple and gradually get harder as you go along. I personally like this method because you get eased in to the harder puzzles.
2) Early on I thought there was an error with one of the clues (which ended up just being me mis-reading the sentence...frustrating mistake on my part, grrr). Anyways, the developer was quick to reply, was super helpful, and it was abundantly clear that he cares a lot about LogicGridPuzzles . Even though I was mistaken and thought there could possibly be an error, the puzzles truly don’t have them- which means that you won’t get 3/4 of the way through a puzzle only to find out you can’t solve it because the clues all contradict each other.
3) how often do you play a free puzzle without ads? I mean, seriously...NO ADS!! The developer specifically says he “doesn’t like them” which is why we don’t have to deal with them and how awesome is that?!
These are just 3 quick reasons why I will not only continue playing the free part of LogicGridPuzzles but will support LogicGridPuzzles monetarily as well.
I’m not being paid to write this nor do I work for or with the developer. I just like to promote great apps when I come across them, and it’s not every day that I find apps that are worth the time to promote.
If you like logic puzzles I can’t recommend LogicGridPuzzles highly enough!!!
I have used LogicGridPuzzles as a "morning brain started" for a number of years. I love the challenge of the expert level and try to achieve the answer without a hint--even if I have to start over. LOL! I LOVE that I can now see how my time ranked in comparison with the "expert" level of play. So fun when I get within a few minutes! I also really like the new outlines and colors that show a chosen row or column. It makes it even easier to see which square I am choosing. LOTS OF KUDOS to the SUPPORT TEAM! In the past whenever I have had an issue, they have responded within a day or so with good suggestions and help. I'm a fan! Dotty
