I have been a huge fan of this site for years. However, for some unbeknownst reason, I can't find any place to login or find the quotes that I have been saving in my own privately named yfiles for years. I have no doubt that this was not done out of spite or a malicious intent. But I would really like to have my quotes back that I have been saving for years. This was the premium site for the best quotes. You can look through and find excellent quotes for almost any occasion. Please bring back the ability to save the perfect quote in your own personal files. Or show those of us who can remember using the dial up internet connections to look at your site.
The old cranky guy who needs help finding a good quote for every situation.

I love brainy quotes desktop. BrainyQuote is useless to me because 100% of the time I come to brainy quotes, it’s to search quotes on a particular subject matter (i.e. regret, compassion, perseverance). BrainyQuote is very limited in topics and when I do my seaetch I often get the message notifications results found for that topic. Plus it needs to sync with the desktop, and I need to be able to save and have favorites. Soooo disappointing! Deleting BrainyQuote but I’ll check back in hopes they fix these issues.

Other reviewers have submitted some great ideas for improving BrainyQuote, so I won’t go into those here; suffice it to say that there needs to be some way to save and favorite quotes.

My main beef is with the daily quote. I’ve been using BrainyQuote for 2+ years now and I’m annoyed that the daily quote is the same on the same day each year. For example, there are 27 quotes available for New Year’s and I’ve seen the same quote on January 1 the last three years running. With so many quotes available, it would seem that BrainyQuote could randomize an offering each day.

I also have a problem with search. It doesn’t search *quotes*; instead, it filters the topics or authors.

I’m also disappointed that there are far fewer quotes in BrainyQuote than are on the website (which *is* fully searchable).

There is nothing to play with! I do enjoy receiving a quote per day, as it keeps the brain moving and can even introduce one to a person they knew nothing about. Take a tip from the YouVersion Bible app. If you look at their app, you'll see that, although it's different in nature, some of the things that they implement could be used in your app as well. Like here, we can change images, but then we can also blur the image so that the font can be seen, change the font, change the color and size of the font --basically do most of what you would find in a program like Word. I like BrainyQuote very much. I guess I just wish there was more to do? So far the only thing we can do is pick a different image. What fun is that?

I found this app's website and thought BrainyQuote would be a good thing, so I could have personal access to inspiration and motivation when and where I need it.

I was immediately dissatisfied by the inability to save or view saved quotes and that BrainyQuote did not sync with my online account.

However, I did like reading a new quote each day as it popped up while working on my device in the mornings. This is no longer available with the latest update - I am require to open BrainyQuote to view the quote. BrainyQuote now has no relevance or use in my life - I'd rather just use the website at this point.

I look at this app as well as a few other apps to start my day. I can use the Quote that come up or look up a different topic depending on my mood or needs for that moment. Sometimes the quotes are a little hard to read depending on the background. At those times I either move the text or find a different background that allows the quotes to be read easier.
I agree with another reviewer about the ability in the Bible App to have more control on the layout.
I do have a few people that I send BrainyQuotes to daily and I do hear about it if I miss that day.

On the website version you can make an account and save favorite quotes (which I have, and I love it). But why isn't there a way to use an account on BrainyQuote version? I'd love to be able to save my favorite quotes easily.

I've found a workaround for it: click on the download button, select "open in website". A browser window will open with that quote, and I sign in and save it. That being said can't there be an easier way to save the great quotes on there?

That being said, there are tons of quotes and they're very inspiring. Perfect app if I could save my favorites.

Oh, also it would be awesome if there were a way to get some context about the quote. Like "this person said this while going through this difficulty," or "the author of this went through this problem" to add even more credibility to their quotes through their experience.

I absolutely love BrainyQuote. It is more user-friendly than the online version, however, since there is no way to sign into BrainyQuote , you have to open the quotes in a web browser to save them on your BrainyQuotes account. Additionally, the tags selection is great, but could be a little larger of a selection. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love BrainyQuote. It has lots of quotes available and you can choose to sort the quotes based on topic or author and I can access it without even needing WiFi. The one drawback is, the website has 50-75% more quotes than BrainyQuote does. Also, less important, but please incorporate the “top 10 quotes” for each person like in the website.

With so much going on in this ever smaller world of ours, it is a pleasure to find a peaceful moment where one can truly reflect. No more and no less than that. Taking a moment to breathe, clear the mind and let a Daily Quote in. A little joy in ones day is always a good thing. I am given the opportunity to reconnect with both long past teachers and authors. Some of whom still can make me chuckle, others provide a deeper sense of acknowledgement as to how far we have come, yet we all do have so far to go in our ever changing world. Thank you for BrainyQuote. Thank you for the small peace or thought provoking moments it brings to my days. Thank you for keeping it simple, when so much of life is already complicated.

It is simple. Let’s me download every quote, of which, has triggered me to ponder, and is presented on a beautiful landscape photo, but gives me the choice to interchange it for another. I don’t have to mess with ads, the quotes are always fresh & I can set it, also easily, to have it show up when turn on my device. And best of all — it’s always FREE, and doesn’t pressure me to pay a thing for all these choices. It is efficient & does just exactly what it claims. I’d pay a bit if needed to. BrainyQuote, with all its benefits, has set a standard rarely met. I admire those who thought of it, and those who help inspire me.

There are very few days I do not open BrainyQuote, whether it be on my lunch break for motivation to get me through the day or when I first wake up to start my day off right! It is truly beautiful, it is simple, and it is amazingly powerful!

Hello to everyone and anyone who reads this! I love Brainy Quote and have so even before I installed BrainyQuote . I would often hop on the website and pick one of the “quotes of the day” chosen from over millions of others by website workers. Plus I love the reminder aspect (which can be set to your liking) so every morning at 11 A.M. I get a non audible reminder sent to me with a great quote overlaid on a serene landscape... great touch! I am a forever learner and will not ever stop. Happily. Everyone should always try to learn something new, further ones mind. Moreover, we should all help one another in the process of knowledge and in compassion. Stay blessed brothers and sisters!

****UPDATE**** The below issue was fixed. I can save to camera roll again. Thanks BQ Team!!

Please fix!! The main reason I used BrainyQuote was to create awesome motivational wall papers. I can no longer do that since last update. I open app, find a quote I like (love that I can move the quote up/down so it does not block the clock on lock screen) then tap the “options” icon (square w/up arrow), then select “save image”. The problem - its not actually saving. Made sure app has permission to save to photos (in settings). Rebooted phone. Deleted and re-installed from App Store. Now when I try to save to photos it does not ask (initially) to grant permission to access photos. Please fix!!

This is such an enjoyable app that gives you something to look forward to each morning. It doesn’t hound you to do something but makes you curious about and think of the writers who can say so much in just a few words. Great App!

A wealth of wonderful quotes on a huge list of topics. If you're looking for some inspiring words, here's the place to easily find them...including the author of each quote. We're thoroughly enjoying them, and will even sometimes share them with family and friends. This is a lovely tool to have available to help you process the day.

I discovered Brainy Quotes a few weeks ago, and it is my “go to” app these days. Rather than wade through books of quotations I can now search by category and author and just scroll through them for ideas, inspiration, speech leads, etc. the photographs are a wonderful bonus.

this app is an amazingly motivational app that allows you to explore any uploaded quote in BrainyQuote . It’s great for when you just need to hear inspirational or moving quotes that pick you up, when you didn’t know you needed it. It is also extremely helpful when you are leading the morning meetings with colleagues, and need to start the day off on the right foot, and note.

BrainyQuote is great extension of the website I have used for at least ten years. It’s a great reference when you can remember a subject, but you can’t remember who said it. It’s great to get an idea of how people think (or thought.) BrainyQuote allows you to make a graphic of your favorite quotes and use them on social media. It’s a very useful tool and educational.

I really do not post reviews in App Store…
that being said, this is THE BEST APP!!! FREE! I’ve explored, downloaded & deleted so many over the decades. None compare to this. As I’m nÖw unemployed the free is a blessing but I would pay a flat {reasonable} one time fee for it.

*I reaLLy don’t as no one reads them and if they do ppl think a 5 Star review is planted. For good reason but this is not one of them. So download; you can always delete.😉

I love quotes and BrainyQuote is great! I especially like the ability to change the background photo. I can also find quotes pertaining to any subject or from a particular author or source. I pick a time of day for it to be sent to me, and then it gives me the option of sending it to friends or family members via text or email. Why bother with anything more cumbersome when BrainyQuote does everything I need or want it to do?! It’s PERFECT!! Thank you, developers!

I really liked BrainyQuote and I use as daily app but some features are missing which will make BrainyQuote better if it were there for example : let anyone write and post his owns and share it to others . Or let friends add each other and send some of the quotes .

Interface is simple and easy to navigate.
No annoying pop up notifications.
Ads are small and unobtrusive.

I like how it doesn’t try to be a thousand different things. It’s there for you if you need a quick nugget of wisdom. I love it.
