Mostly satisfied

I have been using BloodPressureGlucosePal since 2016 when I was first diagnosed with diabetes. It has been very helpful providing feedback to my doctor and it is easy to use. However, I would really like to be able to access across multiple devices. I use both my iphone and iPad interchangeably and not being able to do that is a little frustrating. It is easier to input date into the iPad but not so accommodating to have to remember to take iPad to dr so he can review. Would be so much better to just take out my iphone and pull it up. The other thing I would add is with the new format, which for the most part I like, it wants to give me the error notice every time I enter numbers that it did not update to my health app. I know it is not updating, do not need the reminder every time. As a side note, I will disclose that I have not paid for any upgrades so do not know if that would make a difference to my comments. Thank you.

BP & Glucose

Previous to August 2, 2019, I was using Glucose Wiz and happy with the program. On August 2, 2019, Glucose Wiz disappeared with my data, and BP & Glucose appeared in its place without my data! I am getting used to the program, but it lacks some very important features for a diabetic; I.e., there is no convenient place to post dosage and type of insulin. The two questions asked on the log (“did you injected yourself before test” and “did you take drugs before test”) are meaningless to a diabetic who by training would not inject before testing and for blood pressure before testing). Also, the program doesn’t appear to provide an a1c, but yet a useless column asks for daily a1c, which is normally obtained thru periodic lab work, not daily! Also, the column showing “period” for testing is not stable even though the period has been confirmed with a check mark. The program needs some important work to keep my usage.

Working for me

BloodPressureGlucosePal seem to work for me. I can record everything I need in one place. Glucose, weight, blood pressure, and heart rate. Then I go to notes and add my temp and oxygen level and anything else I want to record such as if I take a steroid and it makes my glucose go up or when I took my Covid shot. Print this all out on as PDF and take to my dr. She loves it and says everyone should do this.
Ads are not bothersome on BloodPressureGlucosePal either and you can add more profiles for a minimum charge. I’m well pleased.

Very basic

This has been a good app for keeping track of my glucose levels. Some new changes/additions were added like the blood pressure monitoring which I really like. My only complaint is that when I start a new entry, BloodPressureGlucosePal puts in its own time of day, which is ok but when I change it, it is saved with the original time and not my changed time. I have to go back in and edit it to make it correct.

Diabetes Conscientious

4th Review: Same as #3 review...wouldn't upgrade to complete full version since 1) I don't need to track more than one person & 2) If it continues this way after PurchasingAd removal, I don't trust it will be any better than it is.
3rd review: As B4, Rate It, Continuously keeps popping up. No help from support, says will continue to do so until next upgrade. Good luck with that. Have since also found that my #'s input does Not coincide with my bloodwork. It's substantially different, so pay close attention to your bloodwork & compare Every time to know which way your #'s are off. Mine have been both hi/low differences. App best for bk up with tracking.

2nd review-I was fairly happy, paid for ad removable & now Rate It keeps popping up with Every Start of BloodPressureGlucosePal ... Infuriating & annoying.

1st review-Downloaded several apps to try & kept coming back to BloodPressureGlucosePal. It was easiest to learn & use. Has a few quirks, but to see an overview at a glance, I def like BloodPressureGlucosePal . With minimal bugginess for a new app, I recommend this one. I keep my mini & iPhone synced with not too many probs.

3 weeks use - love it

My health concerns are BP and Blood Sugar. This is a super easy app to both enter and track results.
Since I was prescribed BS meds I wanted to track results of medicine, dietary changes and increased activity BloodPressureGlucosePal seems perfect.
I have not exported data yet but have every expectation that it will be easy and useful.
Highly recommended it if you need tracking tool for these critical health indicators.
Weight and heart rate also just as easy to use.

Easy to use

I found BloodPressureGlucosePal easy to use. Love seeing how everything looks over time in a graph also. One thing I would like added would be an 02 sat. Many people who monitor Blood glucose, weight, and blood pressure are checking their oxygen levels too. It’s great that when I go in to see my doctor I just open this up and she sees everything. 👍🏼😊 WendyLou

BP and glucose today

Give me everything I need except I don’t see a way to transfer back-and-forth between iPad and iPhone perhaps through iCloud if that is a feature it could be added as I enter this to my iPhone but would like to see it on my iPad as well. And yes there is no place to put in dosage of insulin taken before meals and before bed.

Data Not Saved

I've been using BloodPressureGlucosePal for several months after my doctor wanted me to test my glucose four times daily. It's a no frills way for me to keep track of my information. I really liked BloodPressureGlucosePal . I'm very careful to enter my readings with notes, but in the past month, I've discovered my data has not saved in my log. This has happened on several days. I feel there's a glitch in BloodPressureGlucosePal . Has anyone else had problems of this nature?? I would give it 5 stars otherwise.

Pretty good app

I really like BloodPressureGlucosePal, I can input all my info but ONE. I’d like a specific tab to enter what I eat. It goes hand in hand with controlling blood glucose. For now I just put it notes, but it’s not ideal. I don’t care about my weight and don’t use that tab at all. It’s worth $5 for sure.

Not diabetic

I waited to write this review until after I got my fasting plasma glucose results from my doctors office. Results from this device were within 2 mg/dL of the lab results. Can’t ask for much better than that! I’m using this device to learn how the “bad” foods I eat affect my glucose levels. It has been very enlightening! I will be changing my eating habits as a result!

Lost data

All my data was rolled back. Not happy!!
The old app was much better. This is a confusing layout. Ads inserted in the data is sick! I would never purchase such software. This is not an improvement! I wish there was a negative rating it does not deserve a star! The overall rating is not right because negative ratings or at least no stars are not allowed! Also drug features do not work and say there is no log when obviously it is there rolled back to old dada but when you add the log it day for BG whoever that is and it will not update dosage.

Nice!

I’ve only been using this for a week but I am very impressed with how easy it is to customize it to my type of schedule. Keeps great records, I was able to share information easily with my doctor. I also really like the notes section.

New Diabetic

I am a newly diagnosed diabetic and wanted a simple app to keep track of my glucose levels. So far, BloodPressureGlucosePal meets my needs. I do have questions, but don’t find the developer’s instructions particularly helpful. I think all things will become clear with use. I can’t give BloodPressureGlucosePal a high rating because I’ve only used it since Christmas and have nothing to compare it to.

Please Add Ketone Tracking

I am not a diabetic. I follow a Ketogenic diet and use glucose/ketone monitoring. The simplicity of BloodPressureGlucosePal is perfect for me!! However, I check my ketone levels and would like to be able to track ketone levels as well. Perhaps as an option since not everyone else needs it? Thank you for your consideration! Great, simple app!

Useful app

BloodPressureGlucosePal has everything I need in glucose recording. Thank you. I like keeping track of glucose, weight, as well as being able to make notes. The print function is useful when preparing data for Doctor and insurance company.

Great app!

I'm new at monitoring my BS, and BloodPressureGlucosePal makes it super easy to keep track and to sync with my health care providers. Thank you!!

UPDATE: Now, after a year, I'm still using BloodPressureGlucosePal daily. Helps me keep track of my stats and send monthly reports to my doctor by email in .pdf or Excel formats. Great app!

Jim

I just started using BloodPressureGlucosePal about two weeks ago and I love it. It makes it so easy to keep track of my readings. Everything works perfect and it's easy to use. This is one of my favorite apps.
I have now used BloodPressureGlucosePal every day for more than a year. It's a great app.

Time of testing error

I take my numbers once a day and the default moves the times. I have to double put in the time I take my numbers for it to be saved correctly. The previous app automatically defaulted to the correct time and stayed there. I tried changing the time but it doesn’t allow me to change the default.

Good but basic

This is a very basic application but it is good at what it does. The only thing is you have to add a zero after you put in your blood sugar number. Other than that it's fine. Also just recently I noticed that BloodPressureGlucosePal will crash using 3D Touch. :(
