I have to update my review. Just realized they have since lowered the price of the ad removal to $2.99 and I have concluded this is a decent price for an app that I use quite often (also got tired of hitting the ad by accident instead of hitting the keys). Hopefully the devs keep it up because this one is still the best around.

I do have one request: shortcut keys to move up and down between rows (boxes). Maybe even a left and right to correct mistakes rather than tapping and dragging. Seems like it would make multiple calculations faster. Thanks!

I went ahead and updated thinking, this is a decent app, I'll pay to have ads removed. Then upon launching PercentageCalculator I realized it was 5 bucks to remove them. 5 bucks!! You've got to be kidding me. Time to delete and find another....sorry but that is absurd imo.

It’s funny that the most full featured iOS percent calculator in 2020 is an app that hasn’t been updated for 4 years. But the functionality is still rock solid, and is great for percentage equations, tax, and interest calculations . I hope percentage calculator is updated for all the new iOS screen sizes introduced since 2017. PercentageCalculator is still very usable, but doesn’t fill the screen of iPhone X,XS,11,12, etc.

To recap, PercentageCalculator is ugly and doesn’t deserve a recommendation (doesn’t fill the screen, is a labeled on the Home Screen “PercentageCal...”)... but it works!

I love PercentageCalculator, it’s easy to use and has a wide range of calculations that are convenient. It has an elegant interface and is easy to read. I loved PercentageCalculator so much, in fact, that I paid to remove the ads. Well-worth the $2.99.

I use PercentageCalculator frequently for my business to for discounts profits!! It has all you need to used for your personal finance. Also love the sleek look!

After downloading as many percentage calculators as I could for review, this one came on Top. It's the best for my needs.

PercentageCalculator was working perfectly until last year, and it is not opening anymore!! Maybe technical problem that it is taking to long not fixed!!

Dont waste your time, get another app. I used to use PercentageCalculator every single day. Just deleted and got something else.

They sneakily added an invasive ad at the bottom after a recent update and did not mention in update text. They added a button to "stop ads" --but goes directly to buy without even disclosing the price (its a ridiculously high $5. Its an app calculator, guys...)

I dont like feeling extorted or lied to. I would have just BOUGHT PercentageCalculator if it had been for sale, rather than this nonsense.

Now I'll spend my money on some other app.

I’ve used this to calculate tips many times already and it has taken a lot of guesswork out of paying for dinner out. The only quirk I have is that PercentageCalculator often carries results out to three decimals, rather than rounding. That would make it 5 stars for me.

My app won’t open any more. Does anyone else have this problem? Loved it before this problem. Would give it 5 stars if I could still use it.

First let me say that I have greatly enjoyed using PercentageCalculator for quite some time. However after updating to iOS 14 PercentageCalculator is now cashing on launch for me.

Had PercentageCalculator for years, then they put ads on, I paid to remove them - but they don’t go away. NOTHING you do will remove the ads.

All 5 star reviews are comically fake.

Whole bunch ads and if u wanna a ad free version then it’s $3. Not worth spending this much on this crap version. There r so many free apps available. It should have in-app purchase symbol on App Store.

No way did they start charging 5 dollars to "monetize" PercentageCalculator. Nope. I don't mind paying for apps I love. But five dollars or get a huge ad in your screen? I can't support that.

Not working anymore

I really like PercentageCalculator a ton. I use it regularly for finding out the local tax percentage on items I purchase online so that I can do my budget accurately. I'm able to just input my local tax percentage in the Sales Tax option, it's 6.5% where I live. And then I just input the amount of the items that I purchased online and that gives me the correct amount to deduct from my running budget.

The Sales Tax function is really the only part of PercentageCalculator I use. But, I love that I have so many other options to use if I need them that this program offers. It looks to me like PercentageCalculator covers every type of percentage that you might need to calculate and then some.

I also found it was worth it to show my support for this free app from the developer, by making the in-app purchase to remove advertisements. The Restore Purchases was a little slow at registering my previous purchase I made for that on my iPhone when I installed PercentageCalculator on my iPad. But it eventually kicked in and removed the advertisements for me, which is good. But I'm happy to make that purchase to show my gratitude for all of the hard work that was no doubt put into building this great app in my opinion.

One feature request I'd like to make, though, is I wanted to ask the developer if he'd please make PercentageCalculator orientation on the iPad compatible for horizontal viewing as well please. Thanks if you'll consider that request. I use my iPad pretty much only in landscape view. So, I think it would be great if we had the option to view thus application in landscape as well.

I'd say the only downside to the application is that it hasn't received an update in at least 3 years. Honestly, though, since it works fine for me and is still compatible with the current iOS build, at the time of my writing this review the the latest iOS build is - 13.3.1. So, I guess as long as PercentageCalculator continues to work properly I don't need any new updates. I would just ask the developer to please keep Percentage Calculator up to date and compatible with whatever future iOS updates come out please. Great and functional

I used PercentageCalculator for YEARS! And all the sudden it quits!

I sell parts and service for a truck dealership, I work in the field. What I use it mostly for is basic markup of products, so I use the markup/profit margin frequently. One huge timesaver is it keeps your calculations unless you clear a cell that way I can go back and adjust the other cells to fit the sale and not have to fill them in again. I tried several calculators and this is the best for me.

The developer thanked me for the purchase and asked if there were any suggestions I would make. I asked that the titles be movable i.e. Move the most frequently used function to the top. They responded that they would put it on the list for consideration, just the fact that they responded was nice to see as it reflects how they would react to a problem.

I was looking for a compound calculator, and this one actually surprised me by being way more then just that. Yes it does lack fancy charts (maybe the developers will add that afterword) amortization and so on and on. But being just a calculator... I think it is more then enough. I'm giving 5 stars. You go guys... Add more, capitalization would be a nice think to have. ;)

Very handy, very robust calculator for just about everything from tipping to conversions. Having the option to switch to a dark background is very useful for those whose vision is not as sharp as it used to be - like me!
