CBS New York Weather Reviews

Crashes all the time. The carousel is just plain dumb and is glitchy. Radar is not helpful since it doesn't let you track. Who's half baked idea was it to get CBSNewYorkWeather?

Well, at least CBS is up front about it. If you don't give them access to your location and allow them to send you whatever they want to, you don't get to use CBSNewYorkWeather . It would be nice if the goofballs in charge could figure out the difference between "Highly Recommended" and "Required."

Meteorologists that work for cbs should go back to school. Put 0% chance of rain all day then change it later on and cost me money on hay I can’t bale cause it gets rained on. Don’t understand why they can’t predict the weather like they could in the 90’s. With all this modern tech. In the 90’s they give u a 7 day forecast and it be right for all 7 days now changes by the hour.

This was my go to weather app for a long time then they started pulling out content in the daily forecast (a while ago). Now you only get details for at most 48 hours. Then if it is going to be sunny during the day and a foot of snow at night 72 hours out you get a sunny icon for the day and a crap summary of the day time forecast with no snow mention.
That is just irresponsible as a weather provider. Lonnie Quinn endorses CBSNewYorkWeather well he better get the content fixed.

I had this weather app installed on my iPhone 5s but since you did a bug fix on feb 12th, CBSNewYorkWeather no longer works. When I tap on the icon to open it, it closes. I looked for CBSNewYorkWeather in CBSNewYorkWeather Store but it is not listed, but your app for other cities, ( ie. Boston ) are listed. It only shows up when I do a search for CBSNewYorkWeather . I e-mailed cbs local support for help, but got no response. I also deleted CBSNewYorkWeather which apparently was saved on the iCloud, but it still would not open. Although I haven't installed iOS 8, I used a another phone that has iOS 8 but CBSNewYorkWeather does not appear in CBSNewYorkWeather Store on that phone either. Is it no longer available for New York weather???? I did like CBSNewYorkWeather especially to look at the video for Lonnie Quinn's TV weather report, since I often miss seeing it on tv. So what's going on??????

But when I check the radar
It always take me back
To the home screen
And loads very slow
I keep going to CBSNewYorkWeather
But takes me back to the home screen

CBSNewYorkWeather tells you the weather,

App has been slow since the last update. Loads up about three times slower than it did in the past. Other than that the application is good.

A nice easy to use weather app that has everything I need. A great combo to have this and the CBS Local app.

I love CBSNewYorkWeather!! It's so different then any other weather apps! I love that you can send your weather related photos directly to them. Great job CBS!

I think it's a good app. You have to play with it but does what it says.

Love the radar part!!! Helps know when rain or snow will start!!

Easy to use, no annoying videos, no unnecessary scrolling, great map function, easy to use and lots of accurate information.

Way better than the Weather Channel app (especially after their latest version )
